I had no idea what this place was all about until my 9 year old granddaughter strongly suggest it. Im so glad she did. Great customer service, great choices, great prices. Very welcoming homy atmosphere.

Hello, I came her with my two young kiddos and they absolutely LOVED it, so did I. First off, the staff were so friendly and answered all of my questions. In addition, my daughter got rainbow roll, she loved that she could add extra toppings included in the price. My son got the Cookie Monster… delicious. I recommend this place to a couple of my other friends!!!

I really have no basis of comparison because Ive never had Thai ice cream or bubble (boba) tea. My kids enjoyed it and it was recommended by a friend. I wasnt quite prepared for the tapioca pearls in the tea. The sweetened condensed milk makes it very sweet, which isnt my thing, but its good. Very clean and nice indoor seating seating area, which is open. There are only a few tables outside, so be prepared to take your tasty treat with you.

Always great service when i visit this business. the employees are attentive and are committed to completing your order in a timely fashion. the fruit teas are especially good, and the boba is fantastic! the ice cream flavors are very unique and the choices for toppings are great. i would definitely recommend this place in the future!

We dont live anyplace close to this fantastic place, but take the trip regularly. The ice cream is delicious, beautifully made, and their teas are outstanding!! In short, 0 Degrees is a great place for the whole family to enjoy.

Super slow service!!!! They need more workers there. Unbelievable. Very long wait. One person taking orders AND making the ice cream while 2 other workers attended one customer for like an hour. This place is EXTREMELY OVERPRICED.I haven’t been in a year because we go to another one around the corner that carries the same stuff but for a small cup of ice cream and a small tea that wasn’t even filled all the way came to $17?I got a small fruit tea with yogurt bubbles and it was $8.I could’ve gotten two at moonlight restaurants for $6??plus the 25 min wait for my one drink. This place went so downhill.

2 young girls were working the counter and bantering while I stood waiting to place my order for about 10 minutes. No one in line in front of me. Both girls had their phones out that they were touching and using while in the food prep area. After all that, I was given the wrong drink. Waste of time and money.

I shared a Thai ice cream with my kids to try something new. They loved it, I thought it was okay and very pricey. The texture was interesting-- flakey. One bowl was a little over $10, but staff was friendly. I just dont see myself seeking out this particular dessert unless one of my children specifically requests it.Update: I dont understand why the owner is so defensive in the reply. I just dont like it! To me, it was a fun trendy food to watch on Instagram, but was disappointing when i actually tried it. My total came out to be over $10 when I ordered the strawberry graham cracker one, which i honestly dont think is worth it. Ive eaten much better ice cream and I think there are better options in this area.

What I think was the manager is absolutely crazy, save your money, there is way better bubble tea else whereEdit: It is obvious that during a time of rush, there is more than one or two employees at the store. You, as the manager I am assuming, were giving other customers an attitude and being snippy with them. I used to be a shift manager at a restaurant about ten years ago, and I know this is NOT how to handle a business. Not to mention it is JUST tea and ice cream, nothing special. Vechitto’s, Cromwell creamery, and DQ are way better options, where I will now be visiting frequently.

We had passion fruit tea, Cookie Monster and the strawberry shawty. Excellent! There was a couple people ahead of us so naturally we had to wait, but huge shoutout to the guy behind the counter. Kept his composure and did a great job with everyone’s order. Will definitely return!

TLTR: They rather give excuses over owning their shortcomings. Not worth your time or money.What an experience, and not a good one at that. From the beginning till the very end it was nothing but excuses.1st: The online menu does not match their actual menu. The excuse? They dont have the password to the domain to change the online menu.... Translation, they are either too lazy or lack the minimum knowledge needed to at least try to fix such a simple problem.2nd: The amount of time it took to fulfill our order. 5 drinks and one ice cream took 20 minutes, and there was no one elses order being worked on. I could only imagine what the excuse would have been if I brought up how long it took, but my next issue too the cake.3rd: My Thai Tea was not Thai Tea. My drink was last to be completed. I took a sip and had to ask the staff that made it if she had made a Thai Tea. She responded with a yes. I had walked out of the store just wanting to be on my way, but with my second sip I had to turn around. The Thai Tea was just not good. I returned into the store and went back to the staff that had made my drink and informed her that there was something wrong with my drink and that it was not a Thai Tea. She assured me it was, and thats when another staff member came to interject. The new staff told me that that is their Thai Tea. I asked if they brew their own Thai Tea. I was told that they use black tea and a Thai Tea flavoring. I asked if they can remake my drink using more of the Thai Tea flavoring. I was told that they will not do it because the formulas for the drinks are set and no one has ever complained about their drinks before. After hearing that, I knew that nothing could be done to rectify the situation. I left my not Thai Tea on the counter and I left.I was never offered for my drink to be fixed. I was never offered another drink. I was never offered a semblance of a solution. All I was offered were excuses. The word Thai is in the business name. They sell a drink called Thai Tea. However, somehow their is no Thai Tea in their establishment. Very disappointed.

I feel bad for the bad review but my experience was awful. I ordered a hot chocolate bomb and the staff seemed rather confused by the fact that I wanted to have it as a drink and not just something to take home. There was even more confusion as I watched and waited for 10 minutes while three different people tried to figure out how to make the milk hot in the microwave, which was filthy and absolutely covered in fruit flies. Ended up just leaving because I didnt want to drink anything out of there anyway.

So yummy and excellent service! Will be coming back!

I went in a few days ago and there was a lady wearing her mask below her nose (and mouth!). She also had her hair down and she wasn’t wearing gloves. It seemed unsanitary and the drink I got wasn’t what I ordered. All in all, the price and wait times were not worth the service.

This place was packed but it was fun to see everyone in it and it was 26°outside!

If you are close definitely stop by. Its a fly way to serve ice cream and the flavors...💛

Customer service was not good. Both girls working were uninterested and sassy. When I asked for a spoon she goes “they’re right in front of you” with an attitude. Similar to another review, there was rap music blasting with lots of explicit words such as n- words and other really gross sexual things. Definitely not a family environment. Food is good but service is terrible, also the owner of the place commenting back to people’s reviews on google disgusted me. Absolutely not taking responsibility for their staffs actions, and saying it’s because they’re “teenagers” while writing with an obvious sarcastic and belittling attitude towards customers. Will not be returning, i don’t want to support a place like this.

I drive about 20-30 minutes to get this tea and it’s great every time. However the service is mediocre and the experience shows depending on who’s working. The last experience I had, I was invited to take a seat because the barista? had an order to complete for the group before me. I waited with absolutely zero issue for maybe about half hour, (which is normal in my experiences as this place generally delivers 🤤 orders) only to be overlooked entirely for my patience as the moment the barista? was free and making her way back towards where she left me— she attended to the gentleman who arrived after me as she happen to cross him on her way. **** edited for requested clarification.That being said, I was a frequent returning customer and after that, I’ll have to reconsider returning. I’ve told plenty of family and friends about this place and I’ll be glad to let them know about my last experience as well. This also wasn’t the first time.

Fun new experience. Definitely plan for a longer wait-time than normal, but certainly worth it for the experience. Crowd was mostly younger/high-school aged and families. There are four frozen platforms going at once. Ingredients are fresh and delicious -- not a normal ice cream flavor. At the end of the making experience, you get to choose whatever toppings you want on the top -- includes all the traditionals (whip cream, sauces, sprinkles, etc.) plus fresh fruit and crushed up candy bars.

Not so satisfied with the very last time I was here on Thursday around 7pm, usually when I go me and my boyfriend usually get the same boba tea and a fruit tea. This time around the drinks werent made correctly; and the girl working at the drinks station had no customer service whatsoever! I was not happy at all.

I would have been ok with even a statement saying okay, but if you dont like it, I cant take it back. You guys use a pre-made bubble tea syrup for the fruit teas (I know the distributor). The fact you need to write 4 paragraphs to defend yourself is a testament to how bad your customer service is for such a simple and trivial request. This is a situation where the customer is always right. It was a simple and easy request that could have ended my date night perfectly, since your establishment was a planned stop because you **were** our go to bubble tea/rolled ice cream spot. I went in today with my family for a fathers day treat, and saw that NONE of the workers there were wearing masks. Where this would not normally be a problem, given the current COVID situation I find this unacceptable for food service personnel. We left and found another place to eat. I can say from prior experience that this place does have REALLY GOOD ice cream. The lack of caution and respect for their patrons today really turned me off though.

UNDERSTAFFED There needs to be more people working the front. I understand everything is hand crafted and that can take a while but there are 3 stations for ice cream rolling and I have never seen them all being used at the same time despite a massive line. ON A BRIGHTER SIDE, the few people who do work there are absolutely amazing, incredibly friendly.

I walked in to order a bubble tea to celebrate my birthday. There was no issue opening the door it was not locked. The employee was making another guests order so myself and my friend patiently waited. After a few minuets the employee said I’m sorry to tell you but we close at three it’s our new fall hours. It was 3:02 and we had already been in the store for a few minuets. She waited until we had been standing and made our choices and the door was not locked. I have been to this location a few times but will most likely not return. The concept is fun and the treats are good but the customer service has downfall since my last visit.

0 degrees f is, by far, my favorite go to place for ice cream in the Middletown area. If youre not familiar with Thai rolled ice cream, check it out on YouTube and then go to 0 degrees f to experience it for yourself. It is fascinating to watch it being made in front of you and even better to eat. It can get busy at peak times but still worth the wait.

My wife and I have been coming to this location for over a year now. We drive over from Wethersfield sometimes JUST for bubble tea, but in the last few months it’s gotten really inconsistent. One time my coffee tastes like normal tea, other times the tapioca pearls taste really grainy with almost completely solid and dry centers. I’d come back for the ice cream still but I’m not sure I’d go 20 minutes out of my way for it now that the bubble tea is so disappointing. Maybe it’s because of all the new employees that they have now but I can’t really say that’s a good excuse :(

I spent over an hour here waiting for my order with my aunt and grandmother. There were people who were being served that ordered after us and we were told “they must have ordered before you” when they most definitely didn’t. We were looking forward to a great experience here, but it was a big let down because of how slow it was and the poor service.

Really good ice cream!! Plenty of flavors from your classics like chocolate to the new modern tastes of matcha!! Plus, they serve bubble tea if you want some thirst quencher. Good amount of toppings too!! come enjoy it now!!!

Awesome experience. The Rainbow Roll was the best ice cream Ive had in a long time. Its one size, one price. About 7 bucks for a pint, 5 Thai style ice cream rolls per cup.

I Love there Taro Tapioca Bubble Tea also Some of their flavor Ice Creams are amazing. I tried Cookie Monster and Monkey Business are my favorite. Is nice to see how the make it from Scratch and the owner is a Nice kind man. Great atmosphere.... So if you have not yet tried it give it a shot.

This ice cream shop has been open for more than two years, and we still like it the most, because our family is inseparable from ice cream in winter and summer. Our kids like their bubble tea too! Will come back next week again!

The ice cream and milk tea are delicious! BUT the staff is awful. Today I went in and a girl was on a cell phone talking to a manager maybe about a problem in the store. Took about 10 minutes to get my milk tea after ordering. I don’t normally ever leave a poor comment but I was so annoyed. She also seemed bothered that I interrupted her conversation by coming in the store. Second time in a row I’ve tried going and had a negative experience with staff.

Great ice cream, fun to watch them make. The only reason Im rating this 4 stars is the fact that we went in (family of 4) and ordered as a group. However the other 3 people in my group were almost done eating before mine was even started. This is due to how they make the ice cream with specific bases. Guess I had the popular one because there was 3 people ahead of me still when everyone else in my family had gotten their ice cream......

Wanted to grab some ice cream after dinner with the family tonight and we ended up trying 0degree. We were behind one group in line, and it was not until maybe 15 minutes later that we were able to place our order. 40 minutes or so into the wait, the only employee making the ice cream stopped to prop open the front door of the place, (9pm on a 30 degree night) until one of us decided we were tired of waiting in the cold and closed it. There seemed to be large gaps of time when no orders were being made at all. We didnt get our order until nearly an hour and a half after ordering it. There appeared to be pre-made ice cream readily available, but this was not mentioned as an option by either of the two employees, and we were not warned that there could be such a long wait. Very poor experience, next time we will be going elsewhere.

Theyre probably the best thai rolled ice cream place Ive been to. They try to fill up your toppings as much as possible which I thought was a really nice touch; most places seem to be stingier with their toppings!

They have 14 different combinations of flavors in which to choose from, but the best part is watching them make it in front of you. Its quite fun to watch the artists concoct your cup of ice cream. Kids will love watching it almost as much as eating it. After theyve made it, you get to choose whatever toppings youd like that can fit on top; from candy, cookies, fruit or even a hand-toasted marshmallow on a stick. The staff is always friendly and polite and you get a good amount for the price. They also have a very nice selection of bubble tea and fruit tea as well - their taro bubble tea is the best around! (It reminds me of golden grahams)

This is a great novalty type ice cream parlor. Once you choose your flavor and pay $7 per sundae, the ice cream is made right in front of you. Then you get to pick unlimited toppings!
