Just visited Best Buy in Midland. Found an awesome radar detector at a great price. Turns out it was marked wrong. Asked if they could do anything on the price for the confusion. Spoke to the manager Joshua who was very rude and dismissive. I dont want anything for free but costume service is a thing of the past. Very sad.
The employees are very helpful and more importantly very knowledgeable almost all the time.

The manager of the Geek Squad department, Matthew Vasquez is so awesome! I came in yesterday very stressed and frantic because my MacBook Air would not charge or turn on. Im an online college student so I was freaking out and immediately had to buy a new MacBook. Today, Matthew called me and explained that despite our previous thoughts that the computer was not repairable, he kept trying to do everything he could to restart the computer and get it working. After taking the laptop apart and discovering that there was no corrosion or internal damage, he was able to restore the computer to full functionality! He called me right away and I came back to Best Buy to pick it up. He was so kind and helpful throughout the entire process. Hes extremely knowledgeable and took the extra time out of his day to exhaust all options before giving up, I could tell that he truly cared about the predicament I was in. Thank you so much Matthew!
I bought car stereo which came with a free install which is cool. So I ended up having to work the day of the installation so I had to have my wife take the car to the appointment. She was told that there was no appointment even though she had a confirmation number. Then she just asked for the stereo and it took them 45 minutes to bring it to her while she had our small children crying in the car. When she finally got the stereo it had the date and time of the appointment on the stereo. I called twice to file a complaint and was hung up on both times. These people are extremely unprofessional and they have lost a loyal customer.

This bust buy stole my money or item that I order and never picked up.They said the item was pickup even-though, I am not even in Midland. Now, I can’t reach no one at the store because they supervisor wouldn’t follow or return my calls. I don’t understand why they will close out an item as pick up without verifying that the customer is actually present. They called me twice after messing up but they cannot fix the issue. Already, contacted customer service multiple times.
This location has decided it is No longer taking calls. So when I found out some of the work Geek Squad did on my car was sub par and needed it to be fixed, the only recourse is to bring all my kids and try to find someone to help me fix the issue while I sit and wait and try to keep them entertained. This is what happens when a corporation becomes too big to fail, they can do things that normal businesses could never get away with, like shutting off their phones. The audacity of telling customers they have to come in person to get the smallest question answered is mind boggling to me. The sooner Best Buy goes out of business the better IMO. They are becoming just like AT&T.
Went in to buy a new phone screen and the cashier informed me I had purchased this one before and it had a lifetime warranty and was able to get it replaced for free. Customer service was super helpful and Geek Squad installed it for a price but rather they do it right than I mess it up doing it myself. Also had several employees try and help me as I shopped around waiting, 10/10 great store.

The customer service was excellent. As soon as I walked in, there was someone to help me find what I needed. I was in and out with a replacement smart watch in 12 min. There inventory is really limited. Would have been nice to have some different watch bands to choose from. Lots of empty space on the shelves.
Did not have the square card reader we needed. We ended up ordering our part from the online Square service. Im running across this alot here in Midland.

Probably the best place in Midland always stocked workers may not know everything they need to know but the TV section is on top of their stuff. Wished they had more computer components but still the best place to go.
Whats the point of spending months and countless hours trying to get the highly sought after Nvidia graphics cards if an employee is going to cancel your order without your consent or knowledge in order to purchase it themselves or sell it to someone they know!? Beyond disappointed with this current situation. I will no longer be purchasing from or referring people to Best Buy unless this matter gets resolved and I get my graphics card at a discount or a premium compensation for this ridiculous inconvenience. I suggest you do the same before your order gets cancelled as well. I have already opened a ongoing investigation and hope to get this resolved rather quickly. Hopefully no one else has to go through the experience I did! What a way to spend my daughters birthday party and Fathers day weekend. Thanks Best Buy!
I bought a screen protector for my phone a while back and I have to say,I havent been disappointed. They will replace your screen protector for as many times as it cracks no extra cost and without hesitation!Best Buy couldnt of put it any better!
The service I get is always great, but the store itself lacks selection. Its hit or miss as to whether they even have what Im looking for or not.That being said, the store is clean and the employees are great. Store is just small.

I went to Best Buy as a certified Apple Dealer to get my cracked phone screen repair done. During the repair, something went wrong with the software. They told me they would order a phone that day. After several calls to the store (which says they are not taking calls right now), calls to Best Buy 800 #, and store visits, I still do not have a replaced cell phone. I have gone 6 Days without a phone. When I asked who I needed to talk to, they told me to come talk to the store manager, but said they dont know what his schedule is and could not give me a time to come in and talk to him. Also, my case was closed as resolved, so my phone has not been ordered. Was hung up on by Geek Squad at the 800# and said only the store could resolve.
Looked for a Bluetooth couldnt find what I was looking for a store employee asked if I needed help told her what I was looking for and she showed me what I was looking for I was in the wrong spot

I would absolutely rate the older lady in the appliances a five star however, the young lady at the customer service counter was so nasty when I came to pick up our new appliance I have to give this location a poor rating. I would have a hard time returning to this location. This is the second person at their customer service counter with a bad attitude. This is supposed to be customer service through out the store, and there is everything other than that at this location’s customer service counter.
Mark with Samsung helped be get a better understanding about the Galaxy watch 3 and was very knowledgeable. I now own a Galaxy watch 3!!
Kevin who was by appliances was very helpful today. The first time we went today we found something we wanted but it was too big to carry by hand and as soon as we realized this Kevin came by to ask if we needed anything and he was kind enough to bring us a cart. Then we went by again the same day for a blender but we werent able to find the price on it. However, KEVIN was there again and was able to help us out! We were also checked out by Gabriel both times and he was so nice and so pleasant to end the experience with.
The pc we bought came in earlier than expected and the customer service was excellent from when we ordered and when we picked up the pc!

Information is incorrect. I ordered a large back up power battery and the order slip said that curbside would be available until 8pm and the information says the store closes at 7pm. We made it here at 6:30pm and went into the order to put in for our curbside order dropoff and were surprised to see the store was closed at 5pm with no warning to its customers, I needed this item due to the power outage caused by the storm. I dont understand why this information is drastically incorrect but Im very dissatisfied with the service provided. Hoping that tomorrow I can get the product I already paid for. It would be nice if your order information listed any changes in hours so we could avoid any inconvenience or if the hours were correct in the first place.

Very unprofessional!!!My computer that was approximately 6 months old. It Took months to repair. I called several times always with attitude from the store staff on the phone.They could never find me in there system, I had continually ask them to check again or get someone else to help. Twice I had to call back because they said I was not in the system. Finally the last time I call and went through the battle of finding me in the system, the computer was in the store and had been there for a week. They had me make an appointment to pick up the laptop. I was to be there at 10:20 am 2 days later. I show up and what a surprise, they have no appointment for me. So I wait.For an hour. One lady in front of me. Geek squad was putting on 2 phones screen savers. She had to go ask for help to get the new screen savers and instructions on how to put them on.Standing there for an hour I watched 2 groups of best buy employees talking for 20 minutes. Group 1 had 3 employees talking and looking at their phones. Group 2 mostly on their phones but gathered for 30 minutes.At last a man came out and said he could help me. So he gave me my laptop, it took about 5 minutes and I left.I cant get over the better than everyone know it all attitudes every employee has. People in the store standing at the geek squad counter were all talking about it.I like the store and the products but honestly have no intentions of going back.
Very disappointed in how their online purchases are packaged, absolutely no concern for the customers item & for that matter our hard earned money spent in their stores!!!! My polk tower speaker never had a chance, box is ripped on all sides, no protection inside of box just wrapped in a plastic, no bubble wrap, no foam, nothing, just pure laziness!!!!

Took forever to get my curbside pickup order but the employees wrote a note on my receipt that said sorry for the long wait. It was a nice gesture and I had no place to be so I wasn’t too worried about the wait at first.. by the time it irritated me, they came out and handed me my order with the little note and it eased my irritation. Also I didn’t feel like putting a mask on and running around the store so the curbside pickup was a great bonus.

Lack of stock is an issue. Then some aisles are obstructed with other stock placed willy nilly. Signage was unhelpful. Good employees that are willing to help.

Bought a new TV in March. Wasn’t delivered till May and wasn’t installed by someone who knew what they were doing. Sound bar doesn’t work, tried to reach out to Best Buy to fix the issue. Tells us we didn’t buy the warranty so they won’t help. I’ll never buy anything from Best Buy again.

Staff in every department knows their stuff. Funny story though, went inside for a 85 Q80 and they couldnt locate one anywhere around. We left, checked online and they had one left, bought it online as in store pickup and picked it up the next day lol. No big deal haha.
Help? Customer service? No one says hello to you, no one looks you in the eye, no one wants to do anything unless we actually get approached. The cashier though completely friendly thats why they get two stars instead of just the one. Both of the pig just one of a bunch of employees thing around as I looked around left and right and up and down for anybody to answer some questions.

Ive only been here once, but the associate was friendly & prompt when retrieving the phone I wanted. I was in & out of the store in less than 10 minutes.
Was making a return. Process was quick and easy. Staff was friendly and even recommended a product they dont carry that might better suit my needs.
Purchased a VR for curbside pickup on January 4th around 1pm. Website stated that curbside pickup time is generally about an hour from time of purchase. My account was charged for product, which Best Buy showed to have 4 of the items in stock. After waiting for an update all day and calling, I was not able to pick up item because it wasn’t ready and the store closed. The next day when I went to check status it showed that my product (that was purchased and charged to my bank) was sold out. I would think that if I purchased my item and was immediately charged for it, an associate would have pulled my item off the shelf to reserve for curbside. Instead I finally got to speak to someone after being on hold for 45 minutes, just to be told that my item was sold to a walk in customer. I explained that it was unfair that I was immediately charged and my item wasn’t set aside for my retrieval. In the end I was left with no resolution from Best Buy, no VR and this bad review that will also be over looked.

Best Buy has lost my respect as a legitimate business, not sure who is paying their bills but it is certainly not the sales of merchandise, there is no way they can sell enough only letting about 10 people in the store at a time. Manager would rather cancel your order than try and figure out where the item is that you already bought online and we’re told that it would be available. Not even willing to look into it, just cancel order and go buy elsewhere.
