I recently had some trim replaced on my car, and my husband had some window rain guards removed from his pickup — that involved carefully removing glue so as not to damage the paint and then buffing. They did a very nice job, at a reasonable price, on both projects. I have used them in the past to repair more significant damage to my mom’s car. They did a nice job then, too. They are always polite and efficient. I really enjoyed dealing with Josh this last time. This is a good place to go when you have to have body work done on your 🚗!
This is the third time in three years that I come to them for auto-body repair. I live in Odessa, but I don’t have a problem going to Midland if it means I don’t have any problems. I figured I would be a loyal customer since I have no major complaints about the first two repairs and the insurance company recommended them.To start off, it was a simple repair and it was completed in two days. I went in to pick up my vehicle and I was told that the guy that was supposed to look over my vehicle with me was busy, but to just call later if there were any complaints. I decided to check it out in the lot before I drove it off just in case. I noticed some damage that wasn’t there when I initially dropped it off. I went in immediately and the guy was available all the sudden. I show him the damage and he took pictures. The damage looked like something tipped over and fell on it. He called for the foreman to check out the damage. The foreman kept coming back and forth from the office. At one of those times the estimator decided it was a good time to explain to me that if I had any complaints about the vehicle when I go home that I could bring it back and they would fix it. I found it laughable considering that’s why I had them out there. The foreman promised me he would give me a call after some investigation on his last trip from the office. Anyway, I can’t get into contact with them after a week. I do not recommend these guys if you don’t like dealing with these kind of problems. I should have looked up their reviews myself before taking them my vehicle. Needless to say I’ve minor problems before but this is the last time I do business with them.
READ BAD THE REVIEWS BEFORE GOING HERE! THEY WILL DAMAGE OTHER PARTS IN YOUR CAR.I took my vehicle in after getting t-boned and after insurance advised to take vehicle here. They did a good job on the outside, when I picked up my vehicle, the handle on the backseat was broken off, guessing from the people who cleaned the inside. After a month of them telling me theyd replace it and leaving a first bad review, they fixed it real quick. I took my car back bc it was still shaking and the suspension was not the same anymore, they had it there for almost a month with no call back and no answer as to what was going on. Finally got ahold of adjuster for them to tell me they had already given them an answer 2 weeks prior. Mind yall, I had been calling and they said they had not heard anything. So I picked up my vehicle, only to find my headrest broken now. Im 52 and keep it low, they tried to raise it and its broken, I dont even know what the purpose of them raising it was. I dont even care to have them fix it bc theyll probably just break something else or steal something as my knife i carry for protection that was gifted to me, was missing from where I usually kept it. Which no one would see it, unless you were down there cleaning. ANYWAYS, DO NOT GO HERE. READ OVER THE BAD REVIEWS FIRST AND THEN DECIDE IF YOU WANT TO TAKE THE CHANCE. Save yourself the stress and convince your insurance to send you elsewhere.
The employees of Pat Gray are awesome. They are very organized and got the estimate to our Insurance the same day our vehicle was brought to them. We appreciate everyone there and the great communication and feedback we received from Jason.
They look professional, they are very communicative through the repair process and they try to keep you informed. the problem started after the job was done I received the car and I complained about the door button loose and other body parts that were evidently damaged and not aligned due to the car accident, they fixed the door button really quick like in 10 minutes but they left some residues of a clear substance that I think is super glue. about the body parts the guy stated that my car is a KIA and I can not expect a good job because is a KIA (why you take that kind of cars if you can not guarantee a good job?) After a lot of back and forward and pressure that the insurance made they decided to take a look again of the car but I was done of dealing with them. now I am taking the car to a different place to fix it right and Pat Grey CC does not want to be responsible for the rental car while I fix their bad job. everybody including the insurance agent were surprised because they are one of the preferred shops in town but do your own research, ask a lot of questions and you can make an informed decision.
Very well done! I was rear ended and damaged the hatchback etc. my car looked new when they finished repairs! I was very happy! Scott, the person I dealt with, was very professional and explained everything! I hope I never need to have repairs but if I do, o will return to them.

Ive taken both of my vehicles there for random things, always amazing work. Was recommended to go here for my Escalade by Sewell Cadillac. I can see why they made the recommendation, always a good job and they are very fast.
Our daughter hit a dog on a rainy night and completely ruined her front bumper. These guys not only got us in quickly but did an amazing job getting it back out the door and her on the road again. I would use them over anyone in town. Great service with the staff to back them up!
I took my truck in to get my frame looked at cause my truck was tracking sideways. @patgray they went above and beyond to get me straightened out even sending my truck to an alignment shop after taking it off the frame rack. I have taken all my vehicles to Pat Gray over the years for any body work needed. The work is always great and looks like new. Bonus--They do a great job dealing with your insurance company if there are any issues.
I had an 18 wheeler hit me from behind while heading to work causing sever damage to my truck. I thought it should have been totaled but my adjuster did not end I had to find a place to get it fixed. I looked at a few different places including the big place in town Caliber and decided on Pat Gray and could not have been happier with my choice. Everyone that I dealt with from the secretaries on up to the estimator and service guys was wonderful and completely professional. This was my second wreck to ever be so why was very unsure on questions to ask about the entire process and all the staff made me feel comfortable and confident that I had made the right choice. I cannot recommend Pedegree and its employees and services more they made my truck look brand new again. Thanks again Pat Gray collision staff I truly appreciate it and if I ever have another accident I’ll definitely be back!!

Good people, professional work.My insurance didnt want to approve the original quote, but Pat Gray did a great job supplementing and working with insurance to prove what all needed to be repaired once the vehicle was in the shop. Once everything arrived for repair it was in and out in the time promised.

My BMW 550i GT has been in the shop for over 3 months now and a good majority of that time it has just been sitting there due to the insurance company’s supplement coverage not matching up directly with their numbers. Nobody bothered to call and inform me of this until my car was sitting in their shop for over a month outside in the elements with no protection. They even had the audacity to ask me to pay out of pocket so they could release my car back to me. Insurance agent assured me that they should’ve ordered parts immediately and began work as soon as possible instead of wait over a month. Looking into suing for possible damages from vehicle being left outside for so long.
Took my truck here and a week later had to take it back because there was a cut in my headliner. Then months down cleaning the interior noticed the trim on the back seat window was being held by one clip . I could take it off with one finger . As I looked at it the other clips were broken off . And not replaced, like seriously. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL, THEY DO NOT TAKE PRIDE IN THERE WORK WHAT SO EVER

The headlight they replaced was a different color. The originals were black. The one they put in was silver! The fender they replaced didnt fit properly. There were mold lines in all the parts they used. There was a nick in the fender & the paint had runs. The drivers side mat was filthy with mud. My insurance company made them redo all the work with genuine Ford parts. The girl who handled it all was the rudest Ive ever met. Ill tell everybody who asks about where to get body work done, never to go to Pat Gray!
We had a frond end collision that was repaired in June of 2020. The staff was nice, the job was done on schedule, and the car looks as good as it did when it was new.
Awesome job fixing my car that got rear ended. Took about a month to get repaired, but very happy with the end result.

Went to get a hail damage quote and they tried to keep my truck hostage until they repaired it. Very unprofessional and not how a quote works.
Dropped off Monday, picked up Wedseday from hail damage repair. Its like it never happened. Cleanest my truck has been since I bought it.

My vehicle was damaged while there, had to go an extra 4 days for them to fix their mess up. Only to find out, they didnt inform the insurance company of the fact that it was NOT ready when quoted due to damage occurring while they had it. Now were out MORE money because wer got charged for a rental that shouldve been covered and it overdrafted our bank account! Theyll never get a recommendation from me or another penny of my money again! Shady shady shady!

Repairs took way to long never received updates on the progress they tried to return the car when the aftermarket parts they attempted to install clearly didn’t fit paint was several different shades like light and day difference. We finally received our car back 3 months later in okay condition after several headaches and issues to several moths down the road my repairs are all falling apart and flying off down the highway. And worst part car is driving very unsafe suspension side that was hit is rattling and there expert drove it and says it’s fine. I would not go to this place pick anyone else!!!
Well, this was the biggest mistake of my life. If you want your car back the way you dropped it off prior to your collision etc. This will not be the place you want to go. Let’s start by saying it took over 31 days to fix a simple car door....... I was involved in an accident at school and when engineer buddies of my older brother recommended me here I thought since they used them; they would be more than acceptable to consider using. The car not only took over 30 days to fix, they probably took advantage of the fact I am a student at Midland College and figured I would not be able to do something about it. After 4 weeks had passed I stopped by only to find my Hood popped open (not all the way; just popped to the point where you can open the hood to its full potential. In the rain............... As well as the doors unlocked) After consulting with my adjuster the reason I couldnt have my car back was over a $90 stripe, he said I can pay for it myself or wait for Geico to answer them. Which at the time I said I will pay, but after stopping by the Geico office, he said are they really holding your car over 90 dollars??? Give me 10 minutes. Ten minutes later the car had been paid for and ready to be picked up the next day. I had a few problems with it which turned out to be nothing, the heat didnt kick in, high beams, and the door no longer beeped when I locked it. They sent a person outside with me who kept telling me he doesnt know why all these problems are occurring, he just knew it wasnt their fault... He was right, this was all user error problems.(All I asked for was answers)... It was too bright for the high beams, car was sitting too long for the heat to kick in right away and the beep from locking the car did not happen because one of their workers left the trunk open... Not sure why the trunk had to have been opened anyway if the driver side door was being worked on. To figure that out; took over an hour, with I am assuming one of their managers, the following day, we figured it all out. My car has had a gas leak before, I noticed it happened again (this is not due to pat gray) However I look under the car and my covers are COMPLETELY gone. They are huge... He implied that they fell off while I was driving... Why wouldnt I stop to get them or even attempt to accuse these people of stealing my covers if I knew they fell off while I was driving? They were there before I dropped them off I am sure, but like he said, You cant prove that we did it. Sounds like criminals to me. I would HIGHLY suggest taking your car elsewhere. Twenty minutes later I bought new covers ran me about 500 dollars which at the end of the day is a lot of money, but I told him I would have spent the money if I knew it fell off while I was driving and not have come here. Now so many things are wrong, since Ive had the car in 2015-16 I have NEVER EVER had the check engine light begin to blink, the check engine was on, I never made a false claim about it being due to the accident. No need to lie. Now when I go start my car in the mornings most of the time the engine will go crazy and the check engine light blinks several times until the engine itself starts to settle down. (Probably because they would put their foot on the gas while the car was starting up) and its turned into a huge problem. Long story short these people are uncivilized, disgusting and do not know how to run a business. I would highly recommend you not even bring a bike to this shop. They have left me with a bad taste in my mouth over an accident that I was not at fault. Word to mouth is powerful and we will be letting everyone we associate with know exactly what this place has done. I bet all the 5-star ratings they have received are from their bored with nothing to do front desk ladies who have an attitude picking up the phone; when they get paid to do so. I wouldve finished school if I were them. Wouldnt be surprised if they were using my bottom covers to go surfboarding with.
They have been good to us have had issues with our truck and they have been good about getting it fixed!
Horrible service... Not first time having a vehicle repaired so I understand its unreasonable to expect repairs to be like it never happened but wow... Had to get State Farm involved in getting them to fix some of the major flaws like an inch wide gap between the trunk lid and the body of the car. They used a seal for the truck that didnt fit so it leaks now. They broke clips on every interior piece of trim they touched so the back of my car rattles like crazy... Avoid like the plague... About the only thing they can do right is vacuum your car before they present their fine work.
Awful job. There is a rock and a hair under our clear coat. And one of our rims is a different shade of grey than the rest. And hardly called us to keep us updated.
They tell you is going to be a few day but it took them over 31 day they try to blaim it on the insurance i took my car on march 5 2018 abd it still abril 4 2018 and still have not receive my car
Just dont take any thing here that you want to be returned to you in pre-loss condition in their words it is really difficult to do that kind of work. If you are lucky you will get back a waxed washed vehicle with minimal added damage fro thier sublet shops, at worse you will a vehicle with more damage form the repairs that we didnot touch that area or just another well somebody else did the work not us so not our responsibility to fix it never mind washing it.
Worst shop ever, they got my truck mid September gave me a completion date of October 5th,didnt get my truck back till December 11th.Bolts were loose runs in clear coat missing parts and tire has chunks torn out of it.when ever i would call to ask for an update or estimated completion date they couldnt give me one,but you live and you learn.Never again will i use this shop

I have had 3 repairs made here over the years. Since the repairs were just over my deductible, I paid out of pocket for every one. Reading the other reviews, I can certainly see that most of the bad reviews seem to be issues with their insurance company, not Pat Gray. Most of these bad reviews look to be from under-insured claims and pre-existing damages. I will continue to uses Pat Gray in the future, just hope I dont have to.
