Only Thousand miles into new oil, don’t believe oil should look like this dark burn charcoal color, along with air filter supposedly replaced and fuel filter. Waited over 2 hours for this service, definitely going to check every service, never going to this place in particular.

I called and was told that they could get our truck inspected and aligned by the next morning if we got the truck there before 1pm. Myself and my brother in law brought the truck in at 12:45pm that day. We came the next day at 12:30pm to pick it up. We were told the truck was not ready and to come back at 2:30pm. We did. It STILL was not ready so we waited another 30 minutes. My husband then drove the truck and said it was still not aligned well. We called the next Friday to inform the shop that we would be bringing the truck back on Monday to be fixed again. My husband and I dropped it off before 11am on Monday and called at 3pm and were told that they were very busy and might not get it fixed today. I of course was a bit irritated and it showed when on the phone . I told the man I spoke to what we had been through with them and he said the truck would be finished by the end of the day. He called at about 4:30pm and told us that they couldnt completely fix the truck because the frame on the truck was bent............ THIS would have been nice to know the FIRST time we brought the truck in........ We did get a refund but we wasted 2 entire days AND a ton of gas driving to and from Stanton to Midland for two days. Please review your customer service AND tell the customers when you cant get the job done the FIRST time.

Ive gone there for new rotors, brake pads, tune-ups,slow oil leak and cabin filter replacement for ac. They have never let me down. Everything works great. Some days you can wait hours others its just a couple. You can also drop it off.

Midas does not know how to do an alignment. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for that

I went in to get my brake shoes replaced. I was told the shoes were in good shape and the rear just needed to be cleaned. I walked home and it started pouring rain, they came to my house and picked me up.

They didnt really find the issue causing the chemical aroma in my vehicles cabin but they offered to clean it out and change my air filter. I trust everything will be fine and would definitely recommend them as of now (as long as nothing transpires from whatever caused the initial problem lulz). Relatively short assessment time.

Came in on a Friday for an oil change and A/C check. I was told it would take 45 minutes to get my car in, so I was expecting to be there for 2 and a half hours max. After 30 minutes they grab my car, all is good. Then 2 hours pass. I walk outside and my car is waiting behind a white SUV. Ask how long my car will take to finish. I dont know. No time given. Ask how long the SUV in front of me will take. I dont know. No time given. Another worker walks out and says that vehicle wont be done until Monday. So I ask if thats when my car will be done. They say it will take another hour. I wait another hour, and finally theyre just starting to work on it. At least 10 other people have came in and got there vehicles fixed at this point. They finish after an hour. Total time it took to do an oil change and A/C check: 4 and a half hours. No times or updates given to me the entire time. Terrible Service. Unprofessional. Please think about going to another place instead.

Today was my second visit to this location. Both my first appointment for an oil change and my second appointment for an oil change, two new tires and an inspection was more than pleasant! The gentlemen who assisted me today were so fast, polite and answered all my questions. Both times, they went over everything they did on my car, how long I have until I need breaks, tires, etc. It’s a little bit of a trip across town from my house but I will definitely be making this location my primary spot for car maintenance!

Got an oil change here. Three weeks later my engine starts messing up. Never had a single bit of problems with my car before this. Turns out they put the wrong kind of oil in my car. It clearly states on the oil cap what oil to use. Look at my receipt and it is NOT what should be put in my car. Now I will have to replace my engine. Will be filing a complaint and possibly a claim. They will be responsible for paying for the cost of the damage. DO NOT use them!!!

I dont know the name of the guy but they said he was the manager.I went there for oil change couple weeks ago.and they changed and fix the noice coming from my wheel. My wheel started to make noice again couple days ago.so I went there today to ask for it..He figured out the problem and was getting code for that issue...after 5 min I just asked him simply How long is gonna take ? I had to be at work..thats so simple and quiet question..He started to attack me he said He is trying to find a code for me and asking how long is gonna take is rude? Really..that guy discriminated me 2 weeks ago too..I just left no going back no more. So poor customer service, I dont know how he works at Midas with this so attacking attitude.

I had planned on taking my truck in to an independent mechanic instead of a national chain for a brake job, but the ones I called had a long waiting list, or were closed until after Christmas. After reading reviews, I decided to give Midas the job since they could get on it the same day. The cost was more than I expected, but after doing some research online, it wasnt too far out of line. The only thing that I asked for that didnt get done was a tire rotation while they had the wheels off. Other than that, I was pleased and will return as needed.

They are honest. They checked my brakes and told me they were fine. Employees were very nice and helpful. I almost took away a point because of the wait. I made an appointment online. I thought that would bump me up in line a bit. I was still there close to 4 hours. So, either be prepared for a wait or arrange for someone to pick you up and bring you back when your car is ready. I kept the 5 star rating because I am not out $400 for brakes I dont need.

Had my truck in one day and out the next. Truly fast and friendly customer service. Everyone else I went to said I would need to leave my vehicle for about a week to even have it looked at. Midas not only ran a diagnostic the same day but had it serviced and ready to go the very next day by lunch time! Truly satisfied with their fast service. Went to get my inspection today and the customer service was excellent and I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I was very happy and relieved after I went to a place that made people wait in their vehicles in a line in the hot sun for 2 hours. Went to get my car looked at they said they couldn’t get a reading and that I should take it to an electrical shop.. knowing how expensive that was going to be we were planning on selling The car as is with it not starting. It’s a 2013 wiTh only 42k miles. So I took a chance and took it to another mechanic... IT WAS THE BATTERY!!! that’s it!!!! Just the battery. Granted they didn’t charge me but being professionals I took their word and was almost out A LOT of money for a $200 fix. Then I called and got no sympathy! So they couldn’t get a reading on an unstable battery??? Then I don’t want my car being fixed here ever and neither should u. They couldn’t even get my car jump started and on our first try we got it jumped. I don’t even want to begin on the dangers of driving with an unstable battery that they “couldn’t get a reading on” so they let me leave there with an very unsafe vehicle

I called around to several lube shops in Midland and non of them carried the oil that I needed for my truck. When I called Midas; not only did they carry my oil but they were very polite and helpful. They were busy but hospitable and they didnt gouge me for their services! I highly recommend this location.

Well first they never confirmed appointment. Then they took all day to look at my daughters car then came up with a price that was half of what the car was worth. Then never called when it was done Then I have no proof they even did anything to the car. Yes it stops better and is quiet. But the oil change????? And I know they didn’t do an alignment or rotation. And when they quoted for my truck he started off wrong and I will not trust this Midas or probably any Midas with any car again

Went in for oil change. Prompt service. Checked all other fluid levels and tire pressures. Also checked pressure on spare tire which has never hit the ground. I have not had anyone check a spare in the past. Just a little extra service that was noticed.

Always friendly and willing to help! I have found that their service exceeds my expectations after reading some reviews here on google. I have gone here for oil changes, brake replacement, transmission oil change and have not ever had a bad experience. Keep up the good work Albert & staff!

They always take in my vehicle for an oil change in a timely matter and finish within 30 minutes to an 1hour. I always call ahead of time so I can make sure that I go when they are not too busy. Prices are the best in town! Believe me, Ive called around.

Very tiny lobby, old/dirty waiting room and bathroom. Cant say much about the service as I only got an oil change, but they didnt try to push any other maintenance or repairs on me which was appreciated. They also made me wait until I prompted them about it because they couldnt figure out how to clear my check engine light. Its a fine place to get a cheap oil change but if youre okay with paying more Id probably go somewhere else.

They were business-like. Their waiting room could be mistaken for a storage room making it very dangerous for parents with kids. There was a dog without leach that could be part of their workforce notwithstanding the fact that not everyone in such a public setting would appreciate such courtesy.

Got oil changed on a 6.7 Cummins. With air filter $166. Next day I check the oil. Black as coal. Meaning they absolutely DID NOT change it. Watch out people. Common scam. Make sure you check. New oil is a clear yellowish liquid. Looks like cooking oil. Not black.

Midas has saved the day for sure. I needed my car fixed in one day, and they were the only mechanic in town who could do it. Tim and the nice older man whos name escapes me were both cordial and helpful. I dont know anything about cars so I cant tell you how pristine the work is, but before their help we couldnt change the tire, due to the whole wheel and its parts being rusted. They took care of my car in one day and I paid half of what most other places were quoting. They also brought my attention to my break pads being worn down to nothing, but they werent pushy about me replacing them. I will absolutely be returning to get a few more things looked at before I move out of state. Thank you so much Midas for making my car safe for my family, especially for our newest addition arriving tomorrow night :)

I went to get an estimate on some work for my car and the manager was rude when I went in he assumed that he talked to me on the phone. And said I told yall on the phone??? So I called the one In Odessa and he was more understanding then the manager (Jaime Garcia) in Midland. Then my husband told him the paperwork he handed me wasnt even the car I had he gave him our car make and model the price went down by $80 and the manager said its only a few points my husband said yeah but its $80 never mind Ill go somewhere else and he said ok. So him loosing costumer is not a big deal. Will never go here ever

Went in to get my oil changed. They were busy as usual. I asked if they could go ahead & do my alignment or would I have to come back another time? I figured they would tell me to come back, b/c they are always crazy busy!!!! The guy said no we will do that as well!!! I was sooo excited!!!! They have ALWAYS been VERY friendly!!!! The staff always explains everything in plain terms you can understand!! Lol I highly recommend MIDAS OF MIDLAND!!!!!

I would have given a zero, but thats not optional. When I ask for a Free ac check what I expected. That is what they advertise, but when they come out with the price. This company needs to have common courtesy and tell people what they do to a vehicle before they go ahead an do what needs to be done. COMMUNICATION IS THE BEST WAY. WHICH THEY DONT HAVE. They try to make you feel better by saying oh I go to you before everyone else. 4 cars dont take long to start with. We waited 3 hours. No, I didnt mind the wait,just no communication. You policy states to communicate with customer before doing anything to a vehicle. Im traveling from Alabama to El Paso & my vehicle was running slightly hot & had a leak but couldnt figure out where so I took it here. at 11am. I took Uber to the mall to blow time. 4pm passes and they still havent even looked at my vehicle. Eventually they call back and they say theres no leak, and the guy assured me it was just an air pocket. Im KNOWING this is not true because I had already put almost 4 gallons of coolant in over a span of 36 hours. Thats no air pocket! I drive 10 mimes down the road & my car starts overheating and coolant bubbling again.They charged me $106 for a pressure test & cleaning/ tightening a loose power steering hose, which BTW is still leaking! So now my car STILL has all the problems I came up there with, and Im out of $106. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Theres plenty of mechanics in that area.

My wife took her car Midas for a wheel alignment. She received a call an hour later stating that the springs and struts had to be replaced before the alignment could be completed and quoted her $1,200.00 for total repairs. We took the car to another more reputable location and was told that my wife was lied to and the car did not need the additional repairs. The people at the Midland location are not to be trusted and will take advantage of anyone that does not question their work.

I went in for a free a/c check the guy didnt even hook up the gauges to check my refrigerant levels. He immediately quoted me a rediculous price to replace the whole evaporator core. I filled my refrigerant with a can from the store and my a/c works like a champ.

We went in to have an oxygen sensor replaced and they quoted us two prices one at half the cost, but were warned the check engine light would probably stay on, and at double the price, but the check engine light would stay off. We went with the more expensive option and 15 minutes after driving off the lot, the light came back on. Upon taking it back, they said they didnt have the equipment to reset it and had to send it up the road where there would be an additional $100 plus charge for resetting it. In addition, they quoted a price to fix our A/C (which went out the day after our first visit) at $2100 because they had to replace the whole unit. When I went back home to my usual mechanic it was $700 because only the compressor needed to be replaced. I would stay far away from this place.

Service was pretty decent but the wait was unreasonable. Almost 2 and a half hours for an A/C check. But, I can let that go considering it was a free check. Will be taking my service elsewhere due to the rediculous prices. Took my truck back the next day because I noticed some damage to the A/C control panel on the interior of my truck. They were very quick to deny any responsibility to the damage, claiming that the mechanic never touched the panel. Only problem is, Im very ocd about my vehicles and know for a fact, that panel was not broken before. Also, my truck has never had any A/C work done to it since it was brand new. The dash has never been taken apart either, its still completely stock and this is the first issue Ive ever had with this truck. Idk what else I can do, so I will just take my business elsewhere. My first and last experience with the MIDAS name. Business lost over typical Midland high prices, and not taking ownership over damaging a part.

Avoid this place at all costs theyre out to rip you off. I took my truck in for some break work and the quoted me $2000 in repairs saying I needed all my brakes and drums replaced. I took my truck down to Dannys Automotive and they found only one drum bad and brake pads. In the end I paid $708. AVOID THESE PEOPLE!

Complete crap place, took my car in for a simple brake pad change and they told me my calipers and back brakes were bad. They even told me its dangerous to drive and not take it out of the shop. Took my car to Midland Muffler and Brake and they told me the truth that only the front brake pads needed to be replaced just for $200. Dont even bother with Midas, theyre a bunch of liars and cheats.

Every time ive been to this place they quote me one price and charge another. And dont get your oil changed here either these idiots left the dipstick out of my engine and laying on the fender well. I am currently in the process of filing a complaint on them through the better business bureau. Warning, if you work hard for your money dont go to this place they will try to take everything you have.

I asked them to check the undercarriage for damage after running over a muffler on the highway. I dropped it off in the morning and went to work. They never called me. I called them at 3pm and they said they would check and call me back but they never called back. I show up around 5:30 after work and tell them I need the car back. They must have rushed because the next day I checked under the hood and see the Air Filter duct is open with Air Filter just laying there and also a dirty rag. Also now I hear a clunking sound when I stop and a dragging chain noise when I drive on the highway. They have done some good work for me in the past and this time it seemed they were really busy and they didnt charge me just to inspect my car but they should really make sure they put everything back together and clean up before giving me my car back. It doesnt give me confidence in their workmanship.

If I could give this place zero stars then I would.I had an appointment and sat for 4 hours waiting for them to work on my truck.They never even looked at it!!!I finally got up and left because thats ridiculous!!!!

The place doesnt install headers. If thats what you want to happen on the weekend because you already have a job Monday through Friday, look elsewhere and be prepared to take a day off from work because most muffler shops in Midland/Odessa are closed on the weekends.

Bad, my car was damaged on the lift, they lied to me and said it wasnt them, when clearly at eye level the paint on the side trim was gouged, when lowerd the trim was popped out of place. they still denied it. went to the midas web page, and its impossable to post a review . when my car was done the tech took it for a ride around the block b4 i got it back, i was standing outside waiting for him to return. this place is a joke.

Went to get my car fix the kept it for 2 days and told me that they could not get a reading on it and told me they couldnt get the car started keep in mind I drove the car up there. They were very rude when I went to pick up my car after they kept my car for 2 and half days and they was unable to diagnosis the problem of my car. I had to get my car towed to another another car place to get it fix .My car was running when I left it with them but was not when I went to pick it up. Stay away from this place they are unprofessional and dont know how to a simple diagnosis on a car.

Horrible service. I asked them to please make sure that they rotated my tires and checked my brakes, because I was leaving the next day, on a road trip to denver, with my children in the vehicle. when the tech was done, I made a point to ask him a second time if they had checked the brakes. he assured me that they did and everything was safe and ready to roll. so I loaded up my family the next day and drove to denver... 700+ miles from here... and the whole way something felt off. got to denver and I had my mechanic check it out... funny thing is as soon as he removed the back tires he could tell that I needed back brakes. there was break dust all over the wheels. so this just tells me that not only did they not check my brakes, but they didnt rotate my tires either, because if they had rotated the tires they would have seen the brakes in that condition. so bottom line is their workmanship is crap! if you value the saftey of your family then I recommend you choose a different mechanic. praise God we made it safe... no thanks to the incompetent staff at midas!
