I have always loved Heather and Holly but last week, not even a whole week ago, I asked if they could make 2 particular flavors of fudge. Not even expecting them to make one of the flavors. BUT they made both flavors! My family and friends swoon over these flavors and I bought a half batch of each. I have a whole new adoration for this business! The employees have always, for years, been so welcoming, helpful and friendly. The store is incredibly clean and organized. A Big Thank you!!!!

Best candy store in the state. Started serving ice cream which is superb after exercising to get revived. Excellent service and very friendly and helpful. Hugh selection of various candy. Plus, a must is try their homemade fudge.

Great little candy and gift shop. Some of their creations are unrivaled...Rice crispy treat on a stick, covered in peanut butter, dipped into dark or milk chocolate, and finally, generously drizzled with white chocolate! Love the place!

I came in today to get some chocolates, but we had a miscommunication and the girl behind the counter thought we wanted 4 boxes of chocolates, but we actually wanted 4 of each kind. It wasnt her fault at all, we didnt understand how buying chocolates worked. She rung us up and it was almost $60, we paid for it and we just assumed we messed up and it didnt work how we thought. After talking outside for a second, we realized we had 100 chocolates that we were never going to be able to eat. We thought we were only buying 25. We came back in and asked her how many of each we got, and we realized what our miscommunication was. She not only refunded us for the extra chocolates, but she also gave us an additional box of truffles at no charge because we had to wait. They didnt have to give us anything because it was probably more our fault than hers, but nonetheless she took responsibility and gave us the free truffles. I cant recommend this place more and I will be coming here regularly from now on.

Outstanding local candy store and ice cream shop. We have bought our kids Christmas and Easter candy for years at Heather and Holly. Special stuff at reasonable prices nicely packaged. The ice cream is very rich and high quality and gives the most for the price in town but its not available in winter.

This place is exactly what you imagine feeling like as a kid in a candy store. Great treats, beautiful store and nice staff. Don’t forget to treat yourself to some fudge.

Pretty reasonably priced didnt have the friendliest guy working when we went but its a wonderful little store with lots to choose from and unlike most of downtown Midland the prices arent anymore then you would expect but travel down through the new main street and you will get blown away by the inflated prices but Im guessing its not very cheap to lease property down town. Chocolate covered almonds, Ice cream Chocolate covered apples and any other chocolate treats to choose from and lots of other things to look at I will definitely be back.

Amazing smells and great treats

This is an amazingly sweet shop right in the heart of downtown Midland. Their chocolates are fantastic and their ice cream is a great sweet treat. Love taking my family there for a special treat. Owners are really nice. So lucky to have this business in Midland!

I was invited to the graduation party of a young man who loves dark chocolate. Heather & Holly is my go-to chocolatier when I need to give nice chocolates. Whats nice about H & J is that they sell non-chocolates, too, especially many candies and sweets I remember from my childhood. They also sell ice cream, although I dont know if they will continue to do so year round. If you are in downtown Midland, you absolutely MUST visit Heather & Holly.

On a daddy/daughter date, just visited to get my daughter some ice cream after our dinner. We dont have masks as I wont comply with our governors ridiculous expectations. The owner requested we leave so she didnt get in trouble (totally understandable). She offered to get her her ice cream and deliver it outside to us! She even went above and beyond and refused to take our money when we tried to pay. These poor business owners are being forced into a position of complying with absolute idiocracy, or, closing their businesses. Please, please go give these ladies some business! They have earned ours for life!!

This shop has everything! As if their huge selection of homemade chocolates wasnt enough, they also have delicious ice cream, fun gifts, an a large selection of other candies. I love the personal touch given to their boxed chocolates (bows and beautiful bags). Midland is lucky to have this gem downtown.

All kinds of candy (building block, gummy toads/penguins/pumpkins/etc., self-service Jelly Belly & M&Ms) but also hand dipped chocolates, truffles, caramels, pretzels, etc. They also have delicious Michigan ice-cream. Kids cone is $1.50 (and sometimes only $1). There are also stuffed animals and things for sale, but I go there for the edibles. Friendly staff. A little pricey, but its a good old-fashioned candy store!

Amazing service! I worked with Heather, the owner of this family owned chocolate shop, on my favors for my wedding and she was such a delight to partner with! She is very responsive and happy to help with all questions. The chocolates were delicious, beautifully wrapped (and labeled with our names and wedding date), and she even included a gift box of truffles for me and my new hubby :) What a great experience!

Nice selection of good chocolate. Its a bit confusing where to stand in line for assistance in selecting chocolates and the employees dont really jump in to guide you. Perhaps because it was Valentines day and a bit busy with us last minute people.

Its so nice to have a place right here in town that sells handmade chocolates and premium hand dipped ice cream! Its also the place I go to get my Jelly Belly fix which is obviously also very important. 😄 They are always so friendly and they carry such a wide variety of candies, from the old-fashioned kinds like rock candy to favorites like caramels and filled chocolates.

Shops like Heather n Holly are what every downtown needs. Amazing chocolates, ice cream on a hot summer day, specialty popcorn and yummy candy to satisfy anyones sweet tooth. I especially love the old school charm of the wooden floors.
