Fantastic employment opportunity. Good pay, great hours. George Edwards Jr is hands down the best boss I’ve ever worked for.
The crew that I met has been really great, helpful and professional. I watched the warehouse crew while I waited for my will call. They used safe practices and were courteous to each other. The pricing is not the best in town or I would give an added star.
Great place to get bulk oil and bulk fuel
A pleasure to do business with.
Amazing operation... Im an upstream petroleum engineer but I was genuinely impressed with the depth of their operations.
This company is not worth working for. I worked in HR and there was nothing but favoritism and discrimination. The supervisor and the managers of HR were not looking out for their associates, nobody has JOB SECURITY- which is why they are STRESSED themselves. Believe me, there are other companies to work for that actually want their associates to succeed, so if you can find that job that treats you like a person than a replaceable resume DO SO.
At approximately 1:25 this afternoon a Sun Coast tank truck carrying gasoline (1203 on the placard) entered 610 from 45 at a tremendous rate of speed and continued across 2 lanes with no signal or slowing. I was right there in the first lane on 610 and had to brake hard so he wouldnt run right over us. Luckily another 18 wheeler was behind with a professional driver. He was able to brake and not run over me. If anybody is interested I think the trucks number may have been 1150 but am not sure.
Great people doing great work
I highly recommend Sun Coast for your Fuel & Lubricant Needs. They have a well trained staff that gives the ultimate customer service and truly cares about their customers! Very well received.
Really great job! Love the job and the people there. Really good benefits and good insurance. Don’t recommend this job to people that don’t want to work or are LAZY! Bad post are from those who probably got themselves fired! Been here a year and a half and I’m not going anywhere!
Dont work here, especially in IT. Unorganized, abusive director/CIO. They treat their contractors horribly. We were warned by people who worked in other departments that sometimes they are brought on and fired within a week when the CIO/Director had a bad day. Truly sad.
Be sure to get all details in writing an that all aspects of working out of town are explained to you in the fullest . Such as travel allowance perdiem differences an when you will receive these . Dureing recruiting an training they are not explained clearly at all an this can lead to problems later if you are working an liveing from home.Especially if not financially ready to wait for these benefits of working at suncoast to kick in . Leave no stone unturned in this. However it is a good job an there are great people here to work with . They have top of the line equipment an are a very very safe company . An I would recommend working for them if given the opportunity for employment .
Best Job Ive ever had. Good way to provide for your family. I love it here
I know a guy thats been working thrre for years
Im a bulk diesel customer. Its normal standard operating procedures for Suncoast to take an order for a bulk diesel tank to be delivered and take 3 or so days to deliver. Each time I order a tank I will call while waiting to check on the delivery and the guy who handles that is never at his desk and never returns your phone calls. A waste of time waiting in the dark and making arrangements to fill your diesel machines. Going to shop around. Totally unreliable but very consistent when it comes to taking forever to deliver your tank and the guy who handles the deliveries is never at his desk.
Very amazing resource. They have very skilled managers and are very professional .
Terrible work place: I was let go over the phone while being off the clock, around 7pm. The reason for termination was that “ I didn’t meet the criteria”. I was serving a roll that really was not that hard, I have strong belief that this was decided based upon hatered from upper management, given they couldn’t give me details upon what I could do better and HR was absolute no help after the matter, which saddens me because I really was sold on “The open door policy/we are here to help”. This company has great benefits, amazing building features, and an admirable woman running it, but SOME management has to change; they’re definitely snakes and will do anything and everything in their power to create a hostile environment just to get you fired, they’ll manipulate anything into something awful vs helping the employee grow/better themselves for the greater of the company. I hate putting my business in the public eye, but I feel this is something many should know prior to getting their hopes up and taking the job ... just to later be fired with no probable cause and being placed in an unfortunate unemployment status. If you do decide to take the job just know your work ethics will not be what makes you stand out from the crowd even if you put your very best effort. I hope you do not have the misfortunate luck to get stuck with a manager named “Saddia Khan” this woman is a malicious /coniving human being .. everyone knows she’s a snake not in disguis. she will brag on her years of experience at the company, and will over glorify the time She spent the night during the hurrican Harvey tradegy... oh and let’s not forget about her “ amazing training experience “. This woman has very low self esteem ... her pores bleed of envy when any type of intimidation even comes her path. She is so awful that many take false notes during her training seminars and intentionally ask pointless questions just to give her the satisfaction that They’re “ignorant” in her comparison .. she fuels off of belittling employees. She will also brag about her super cool power of being able to spot “who’s going to make it or not”(her words). I admire hard working people and understand being a manager can be tough given not all employees are great suiters but her recruitment team is built off of what she can control and take advantage off, And that’s just sad. Suncoast management please remember “Leadership is not wielding authority— it is empowering people” God Bless !
Nice place and friendly customer service. They help whenever possible.
I worked there and managements are so tough on personal especially the dispatcher trainer and they moved her to do something else she was terrible her training wasn’t what she was training BAD trainer btw mrs laene is very beautiful and humble and I never met her she is doing an awesome job I wish I can go back and do hands on training like they do at other company’s I just wish again to go back
I dont know anything about your company, but one of your drivers just parked his truck in the median on a hill on east bound HWY 377 in Granbury, TX. so he could go into McDonalds and order breakfast to go. This is a four lane highway that carries a lot of traffic. I, and others, were in the turning lane behind your truck trying to turn into the strip mall. West bound tragic was coming over the hill at 50 MPH and I could not see around your truck without getting into the oncoming lane of traffic. This was extremely dangerous and could have caused a horrible wreck. I do have a picture of your truck parked in the median, but this review does not have means for me to attach a picture. There were also vehicles trying to turn east onto 377 from the strip mall; the parked truck made it very hazardous and hard for them to make the turn.
Great hand sanitizer
This company operates on the “good ole boy” system. If a member of management feels threatened by you or just does not like you merely based on personal opinions, look out! HR (particularly the director of HR, Jennifer Weldon) are not to be trusted. They are sneaky and will turn on you while making you think your complaints are confidential. She is hell. So many people have been fired without probable cause or warning. When a company has a high turn over rate that says a lot. There are a lot of good people who have lost their jobs here only because someone who is more “connected” wanted them to be fired and that’s exactly what happened. Unvalued employees and sneaky snakes in management especially HR.
A great place to work I should come sooner
Best place to make some easy and fast money. Not a company to work for long term.
THE place to buy your fuels in Houston!
Good people to work for and with.
Nothing to share. No longer there. The company needs to review a management manual on how to treat their employees.
They deliver when others cant.
Good place to work. Recommend
A great place to work with good benefit
Easy fuel up needs more fuel bays
Good gasoline
Do work for them you will regret it... you will not work full time most of the time. Meaning you will not make enough to live decently, in midland. Try it if you want, but beware.
