Very untrustworthy. I took my truck up a couple weeks ago. I specifically asked for my front and rear heater cores to be flushed out. When I dropped it off, I acknowledged I knew of other heat repairs that needed to be performed but I also knew this was a problem due to temperature checks of the hoses coming in and out of the heater cores. When I picked it up they tried to tell me they performed the work, and replaced a front heater core hose, so I paid the $180 in cash for work that was not done. I went back the next day because the rear heater core was not flushed out. This was very obvious because there were still spider webs on the connections, as seen in the picture. The next picture is the after, where the dust would obviously be cleaned off by performing the actual work. I flushed out the rear heater core myself on my next warm day. Another picture shows a small amount I cleaned out from the core, there was plenty more that spilled out. I now have better heat in the back. They wanted me to leave it for them to perform further diagnostic while trying to guarantee they did the work. They lied to me. Stay away!! On top of an estimate for replacing an exhaust manifold, they told me $450 for just the manifold part, 1800 to replace the exhaust system. There are multiple exhaust manifolds available for $45 for my truck. Stay away!!Updated after they tried to insult me on 12/16.How dare you assume I couldn’t afford the repair. As I stated, I knew of the other problems. I had parts on order for them. You took my money for a specific service I also needed and did not perform that service. Plain and simple. I was trying to help a local company and I got screwed.

They did my muffler work fast and they were good with the price.

I love emporium. I am a frequent customer and they never disappoint. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They can sometimes take a while but they work hard and i understand that they are only human.

The people was rude and they had me waiting all day not to be able to take my car and do a 30 min or less job... plus why need a appointment for something that takes less than a day 🙃

Had a appointment at 8 am, they said come back an hour and a half later. Came back for muffler delete and they tried to charge me crazy high since the exhaust pipe had to be bent a little. They then “Bumped it down” to 100 dollars. Would have payed the price if they did not make me wait for my appoint that I set two day in advanced, as-well as if they didn’t try to charge me 180 from the beginning. Tried to scam me as if normal. Friend referred me here and did exhaust work for 80, but seems they try to up-charge on a regular basis. Spend your money somewhere else.

Solid place for exhaust work! They showed me under my car, explained what broke, explained my options, showed me the new part, said how itd be installed, and even ran me through a backup plan if the first fix wasnt feasible. Total came to be very close to what I was expecting after looking into it myself

Came to get brakes done. The owner checked them for free! He was extremely helpful and honest. I shopped around and found that he also did the job for the best price around. Highly recommend. I wouldn’t go anywhere else after coming here!

If you have any weird sounds coming from your car or truck then this is the place to go in town. Even when it comes to getting an estimate these people care about you and your car .very clean shop and happy attitude from the mechanics let you know your in good hands

Ive had brakes and rotors replaced here for a very reasonable price and only waited an hour. The waiting area is always neat and clean. The receptionist goes out of her way to help.. Horrible! Dropped my car off to have head gaskets replaced. Called a half hour before close to check on car and the receptionist said she tried to call. I never received a call. On top of that they said cement was used to put headers on and whole job would have to be redone. RIP OFF! Just money hungry scam artists!

Avoid this place. Had an oil change and fluid top off before vacation trip. Drove 5 miles from after picking up my car and oil light came on. Checked dip stick and had to add 2 quarts. Also the wiper fluid was bone dry. Called shop back and they said to bring back and and they would top fluids off. I said what was the point if bringing it in in the first place if it was not done correctly. No offer if regund either.

I received Poor Customer Service twice and a Very Dishonest evaluation of my vehicle!I originally came to this place for an oil change but I also needed work done on my brakes as well as a new battery and some other things for my car. It was horribly expensive but I needed my car up and running right away. Less than a week later my check engine light comes back on (after spending well over $600).I took my car to another place to get it checked out and somehow they fixed what Emporium Mufflers didnt fix. That bill was another bill close to $1500. However, my car was running smoothly again.I go for my second oil change and this time i have a leak in my front passenger tire that needs to be fix. The guy never looked at my tires. i needed my head light replace, he never looked at that, and when he did he tried to charge me $30 for it. He told me I needed a tune for $250... but what he failed to realized is the last place had already tuned my car but i didnt mentioned that to him. Instead I looked at him like the con artist he was!He then told me i needed over $2500 of work done to my car and that i should look into buying a new car. That comment was the icing on the cake for me. Nothing he said made a bit of sense & Everything I went there for he didnt bother to fix. And I am highly doubtful of the oil change!I just got a set of tires and an alignment today from an honest mechanic, along with some other minor things, for way less than the price that was quoted to me from these guys. I will never give them a penny of my business ever again!!!!!I typically dont write reviews but Im horribly disappointed with the dishonesty of this place i had to voice it again!!!!!!! I HOPE THE OWNER READS THIS AGAIN! BUYER BEWARE.....HAVE YOUR WHOLE BANK ACCOUNT READY WHEN DEALING WITH THESE DISHONEST CON ARTIST!

I needed my muffler welded back on after it rusted out. I was given a couple of choices on what to do and had it repaired in under an hour. They did a great job fixing the issue.

This guy came out in -35 degree weather to help me, I take all my cars to this shop, the cleanest, friendliest place, without the corporate feeling. These guys do an amazing job.

They took 5 days to fix my car after they told me I would get it back the next day. When I did get my car back, the interior was damaged. Passenger side handle was off and two of my windows wouldnt roll down anymore. None of this was wrong with my vehicle prior to going there. Bad service, do not recommend.

Scammers, one day told me I can fix a piece of my car that they didn’t fix the first time I brought it to them and then the next day told me its my fault it broke. Crazy part is I had a warranty and they still tried to charge me to fix it don’t recommend going there

Sister came to get brakes fixed. Sent us out in 85 degree weather to get cash bc their machine was broken. Five hundred dollars and an hour later and there was NO difference in her brakes, and she wasnt given a reciept so she couldnt even get the money back. Screw this place.

Worst auto experience I have ever had. Was recommended by a good friend to take my car here for a transmission job. I was quoted at $2,600 for a JUNKYARD transmission. I thought the price seemed high but I knew the job needed to be done ASAP. After dropping by car off on a Monday, I was told that the job should be done by Wednesday. When I called on Wednesday they told me that the wrong transmission had been sent to them and that they had not started the job yet. My first thought was, why was I never informed of the delay??? They told me they should get the correct transmission by Friday and that the car would be done early the following week. So when I called again on Monday, they told me they had the wrong transmission AGAIN. I never received a phone call notifying me of any of this. They said it would take longer to get the correct transmission and that they should have it by the end of the week. They finally had the right transmission and told me the job would be complete by the following Weds (going into week 3 of having my vehicle). I learned my lesson and called ahead of time to make sure they received the transmission and the job had been started. When I called Wednesday morning to see when I should come pick up the vehicle, they told me it would not be ready until Thursday. After about an hour I had a call the shop saying the car would be ready that day and that they have 2 Muranos in the shop and the man I spoke to earlier was confused on which Murano was mine (even though I clearly stated my name, car, and the reason why it was there). When I initially left the car I asked if they took American Express because that was my form of payment, I was told they did accept Amex. When I showed up to pay with only my Amex card, I was turned away because they did not accept Amex. They were also closing in 15 minutes and would not have enough time for me to get another credit card and come back to pick it up. This meant they had my car overnight again.After having my car for 3 1/2 weeks for a transmission job that normally would take 12 hours, they decided that knocking off $100 from my quoted price was fair. Keep in mind during those 3 1/2 weeks I had a rental car to commute to school and work.Between the terrible communication, being overcharged, and not taking responsibility for their own mistakes I will never go back to this shop and strongly encourage people to look else where before taking their cars here.
