My husband was sold used golf cart batteries at this shop. We have all receipts and documentation that shows we bought NEW batteries in April of 2020. We noticed last week the batteries were not keeping a charge and brought it back to the shop to have them tested. Mark told my husband the batteries were from 2018 and he doesn’t keep batteries more than 2 weeks old at his business and he would do nothing. This golf cart has not been out of our possession since the new batteries were installed so they couldn’t of come from anywhere else. We understand we are screwed and it’s his word against ours but wanted to make it clear to everyone that this is happening and to take their business elsewhere.

In response to your reply to my review:You fabricated the story about me finding a charger in Galveston. I never found a charger that would fit. As I mentioned, I had to have strangers help me roll the pretty paper weight into the RV.Next, Canton is not 200 miles from your shop and you offered nothing that helped. Again, you left me with a really good looking paper weight. If you were confused about where I was, it says it right there in the review.The point is I needed your help because YOU and YOUR product left me in a bad situation for THE SECOND TIME. You absolutely said I dont know what to tell you, more than once during our conversation. In fact, your final comments were that your best guess was that the charging receptacle was bad....nothing to do with batteries that need to be force charged.Yes, I will be happy to bring the cart in for you to give me the working product you promised.

Trusted Mark to take care of us, since we picked him out of all the places selling golf carts these days. In less than six months the cart has failed twice. The first time we were given a bad charger. We were in Galveston, and had to have strangers help us push it into the RV. Today, we are in Canton, and this thing is no better than a paper weight. The RV park is empty so I have no help to get this piece of junk back into the RV. Called Mark and asked for his help. His answer: dont know what to tell you!Terrible customer service. Terrible product.

They did a decent job fixing the golf cart, however, their customer service needs a great deal of work. Be sure to have every communication in writing before proceeding to work with them.

I went to Ellis County Carts looking for a company to re-wire an old cart. Ellis County Custom Carts does not offer this service. I did find a good selection of custom carts if you are in the market for new or slightly used.

We really enjoy our cart that we purchased 30 days ago (a few minor quality issues, but nothing egregious). I am disappointed with the post sale service; everytime we have called we get a different answer, have to explain that we just purchased the cart from you, etc. Would really like to have a dependable location for parts, accessories and service.

They charged me $140 to look at my cart to tell me they don’t know what’s wrong with it. Then tried to sell me one of theirs. I left there with the same problem andhad to drive an hour to get there. Not cool.If you never know what’s wrong with a car, then why did you send me out paying $140 with no explanation? You told me that you looked into it and it was getting too expensive to keep going and that the cart wasn’t worth looking into it any further. So you had me pay $149 to load my cart up in worse condition than it already was in. You left my solenoid off and and the bolts were missing. So... there is my explanation.
