I guess they thought we were homeowners when we ordered 10 yards of dirt. Showed up with 6-7 max in the back of an f450. All my grading guys on the job thought it was the wrong order when they showed up. Very disappointed. The driver was nice though but he kept insisting it was 10 yards. Absolutely no way. After all, he is a driver not an excavation company. He must know way more about calculating dirt yardage than us.
Good prices and selection very nice people working there. My beef is sometimes its a single man operation and theyre out for delivery. You might get stuck waiting
I called before I went to get 1/2 yard of sandy loam mixture and was told it would cost $25..I got there and I was told it was $29. That wasn’t that big a deal but when I got the 1/2 yard it looked like a very small 1/2 yard, when I got home a neighbor (who hails dirt often) told me it wasn’t even 1/3 of a yard...I was going to get a total of 5 yards but I’ll not go back to Travis, I’ll get the rest somewhere else
My name is Travis, and I like the name of this construction
Almost impossible to get any sort of response via e-mail. My landscaper had them deliver some mulch and told them to dump it on the street. I was willing to move vehicles so it could be dumped in my driveway, but I was assured that it wasnt needed and it would be dumped in the street then immediately wheelbarrowed to the needed area by the landscapers.Instead, the delivery guy made the decision to ignore that because it was unusual and drove it up into my yard THEN came to ring my doorbell to let me know he was here. He damaged two irrigation lines and left deep tracks in the yard. Have been trying to get a response on filing a claim with them but they are non-responsive. May very well end up in small claims over the repair costs. Giving one more week before I file a small claims action.Landscaper also believes they shorted us on the delivery by almost a third of what was paid for.
Great people are helpful.
Good prices and friendly staff.
Excellent place to do business with very reasonably priced
Awesome place to go and get any type of rock, sand, dirt or stones. Love this place!
Ive used Travis Eq. twice, once for crushed concrete, and once for top soil, great experience both times.
Very poor experience. Had them put in a long driveway with crushed concrete and loose asphalt as well as bring in dirt for a low spot. Tried several times to get the sales guy to give me an actual price for the whole job. Felt like I was dealing with a used car salesman. The last load of dirt they brought had rebar and trash in it.
These guys are great!!!
Got in got it done fast in and out
Good people to do business with
