Michaels is great for someone wanting to start a new hobby and needing all the supplies! I was able to go in and get everything I needed and use a 20% coupon. There were a lot of employees in the store that day and every single one of them stopped and asked me if I was doing okay and needed any help. Great customer service.

I recently worked with Michael in framing. Yes, his name just so happened to be Michael. He knows his stuff and he is patient and let’s you take your time and get it just right.

Was able to find all items I needed to bake, decorate, and pack a cake that was going to be taken on an airplane ride for a wonderful birthday celebration in another state.

This location has a quality custom framing department. The pricing is only competitive with boutique shops if you use a 50-75% off coupon, and you should never pay full price for the work they do. I wish they’d just pick a reasonable price and stick with it, but such is their business model. You need to subscribe to or at least pay attention to their email coupons to get a decent price. (Speaking as someone who regularly pays 250-650 per frame job). There are two main folks at this location and both know their stuff.

I really appreciate the efforts of the staff to ensure the safety of the customer during this pandemic. I saw one staff who seemed to be the manager run back and forth fulfilling curbside pick up orders to answering phone calls. I found what I needed and also was good. I have visited this chain throughout the years. I will be back.

Love this store! So many amazing things inside. Tell them if you are a teacher and get a discount! They also have a coupon on their website you can use to save on one regular priced item.

I was such an annoying customer and Rebecca in tje framing section was AMAZING. I sat there for 2 hours trying to pick out a frame and mat and she sat there helping us and laughing and was so patient! Michelle also was too. And Rebecca gave us so many options and ideas and was interesting and so helpful, she was the only reason my indecision didnt take over. Rebecca needs a raise she was awesome!!! Highly recommend their framing in the back to anyone who needs one, the employees were so patient and friendly and seemed genuinely happy which was refreshing, overall a very pleasant experience!!

I asked the nice cashier if they could make things a little HARDER to find because there were so many scrapbooking items on sale, and of course I had to have ALL THE THINGS, buuuut she just laughed? 🤷‍♀️ Anyway, I love this store! Its always clean, everyone was wearing masks, and its always pretty well-stocked for sale items. Cant wait to start my new projects!

The biggest, most gorgeous Michaels Ive ever been to. Will very likely have what you need. Probably wont run into anyone - socially distanced for sure - but you can find staff if you need them. Happy crafting!

Need to hire more adults for the day shift. During the rush, when several high school kids with little experience get overwhelmed, they need someone to back them up. Saw two cashiers have mini-breakdowns and leave a single person on the registers. This is not a knock on the kids - they were doing their best and Christmas is stressful in retail (did it for 10 years myself). They need more managerial and experiential support during high stress times!

Always find what I need and things I didnt know I needed. Ha!

Clean, a bit over priced

I frequently shopped at Michaels, they have a great selection of items, brightly lit aisles & keep clean stores.Unfortunately, they stopped taking competitors coupons in March & have pretty much stopped offering anything but 20% - 25% off coupons of their own.Hobby Lobby still offers 40% coupons & Jo-ann Fabrics offers anywhere from 40-60% off coupons for regularly priced items. They also still take competitors coupons.That makes a huge difference as to where I go now, especially for the higher priced items.

Their Buy Online & Pick Up In Store service is severely lacking. After pressing the button 4 times, I finally had an associate pass me and I could ask them for help. (I didnt want to leave to find someone because I felt as soon as I left, someone would come and Id be gone.)Ill find another Michaels that has better inside service or does curbside.

Everyone knows Michaels. Friendly service, wonderful craft items. Every time I go in my mind explodes with ideas. Michaels tag line should be, Where craft ideas explode!

Michaels as expected, they were running low on many of the supplies we went for (paint, clay, beads) but they had lots of new home decor and seasonal items.

Great selection of art and decor supplies at reasonable prices. I think their products are slightly overpriced overall, but there are plenty of paints and other artistry products that are frequently on sale or very moderately priced to begin with. You pay for what you get so the cheapest products are clearly lower quality. Theyre one of the few stores that offer high-quality paints, acrylics, charcoals, and colored pencils so its a must for college art courses or serious projects!

Everyone is always friendly and helpful, great selection.

They are our go-to place for slime supplies. This time they were low on gallon bottles of clear glue, otherwise I would give them five stars. I had to go to a second Michaels. Fortunately, I called the second store and they had the glue waiting for me.

Another store had called to arrange for a flower to be ready for us. It was great to just stop in to pick it up, and of course, we were so happy with the service we ended up getting a few more things too. Above and beyond service.

Went for the Black Friday sale. Hmmm. The Christmas Tree sale was kinda a joke. Its a lesson to always pick yourself up and go into the store and take a look before making a purchase. The ad said 7 ft pencil tree but on a good day that tree was no taller than 5ft. Well, lesson learned.

Its a really nice place has a lot of crafts & things. There frame shop is good the staff is very knowledgeable. The prices for framing is a little high. The staff in the store was very helpful & polite.

They always have great sales. They are being safe and taking precautions during covid.They have friendly staffers that are always willing to help you find what you need. Its one of those stores where I go in for one thing, and walk out with a basketful!

I visit Michaels almost weekly. With few exceptions, the products I need have been in stock. My husband recently bought me a Cricut Explore Air 2, and Ive had a difficult time finding sales personnel who know anything about it. It would be so great to have someone there help me when I have questions about my Cricut purchases.

Michael in the custom framing department saved Christmas for me! So helpful and knowledgeable, and despite how busy they were he took the time to make sure I was well taken care of.

I have never been treated so poorly in my entire life! I was headed over for a curbside pickup and said I was on my way with the little button in my email. I arrived at the store just before closing and called them to have my curbside pickup brought out to me. The phone rang and then someone picked up and immediately hung up not saying anything. So I called again, the same thing happened. This went on for about 10 minutes and I got out of my car to see if I could just go in--but by then they had locked all of their doors. So I called again--this time someone answered and DIDNT hang up on me.... YET! She answered like this: WE ARE FREAKING CLOSED! I told her I was really frustrated because I had gotten there in time, called, but kept getting hung up on and I just needed my order brough out--while in the middle of explaining this, she just hung up on me. So, I didnt get my order. I will be picking it up tomorrow and never going back. I have never received such poor customer service in my entire life.

Michaels had a lot of seasonal things out and the crafts and other materials were labeled well. There were enough staff out to answer questions. Theres a bathroom on site. Pleasant staff. Its a bit crowded of a location for parking. But all in all, a Michaels.

I recently had a curbside pickup that I had intended to pickup at the West Jordan store. West Jordan was not helpful at all in finding out where my order was. I called Midvale & wasnt even put on hold. She told me my order was there & told me that thered been a system problem with orders going to different stores. When I went to pickup my order I decided to go in & shop around a bit. Every employee I encountered was very friendly. When I checked out, the cashier made sure that I was given any & all discounts & coupons. They treated me like I was a regular customer & they were happy to see me. I feel that the way they are comes from them having a good Manager & they enjoy their jobs. Keep up the good work Midvale. Youll be seeing a lot more of me.

I come to Michaels at least once a week. They have an okay selection and good prices when sales are going. Always look up their coupons before shopping as there is ALWAYS a 20% coupon. I had $15 in rewards, that I couldnt use because one of the cashiers doesnt know how to enter them. I planned on spending 15 $ less than I did. 🙄 whats the point of the rewards if Im not allowed to use them? Anyway, the staff is mostly friendly. This isnt their cleanest location.

Would have been 5 stars but having worked in one I know things well say.But they have everything I need and generally speaking they treat their employees good and there for most of them treat the customers good. I can always find what Im looking for and usually advice to go along with it!

Let me say that Im so glad they price match. Im also glad that they give you discounts with online coupons. They have quite a great selection of merchandise including quite a large collection of Christmas decor on sale at 50% off. Not everything is ready to find, but the staff is usually very helpful.

Loved Michaels! So many fun things. Found a super cute wreath on sale for 4 dollars. They tend to have sales every season change. Usually good find. I was bummed to see they dont have planners but i will look online to see what they have.
