Absolutely amazing store. Gorgeously displayed, fair prices, huge selection, creative displays and presentation. Im not even into this type of thing and went in hesitantantly with my boyfriend, but was immediately fascinated. Very friendly and knowledgeable owners.

Ive never seen a business with nearly every review being 5 stars and its definitely well deserved. In all about dozen times Ive been in this shop, Ive never had a bad experience! The owners are kind, friendly, and passionate.I currently have so many pieces of theirs in my apartment and work station. The care, respect, and love that go into every piece is incredible. The owners are so kind and helpful. The stare is beautiful with everything from wet specimens, insects, skeletal articulations, etc. The most important thing to me in buying items like this is how they are sourced and treated. The owners are very open about sources and process and do their due diligence to ensure best practice. They treat the items with respect and care as well.

This. Place. Is. STELLAR. I moved from the Philly area (where you can find all sorts of oddities) and found Utah very wanting—until I came here. I’m a picky collector with high standards and simply put: Natur’s collection is on a national-best level. I was stunned the second I walked in. As important, the shop owners are top class folks. Really phenomenal, friendly and well-spoken owners whom you can tell deeply enjoy their work. Every specimen and presentation is perfect, and I mean perfect. It’s astonishing how many curios they have packed into this store. And on that note, the store is beautifully presented. Really a 10/10 business. I will be a frequent customer.

Everything in here is so beautiful. Even just coming in here to browse you feel like you entered a different realm. The people who run the store are so endearing and make me want to come more often.

This is the best place hands down for any specimens, bugs, or display needs. The employees and owner were so wonderful to talk to and even gave me helpful tips and ideas for my crafts. My Spirit Rejoices! I took My Grandson Leo to Natur for his Birthday after learning He is into bones! We went on Monday but they were closed. We peeked in the window and the owner let us in. Absolute best place in SLC if youre into biology, wet/dry preservation, or just slightly morbid art.The owner both sources and makes some truly fantastic pieces, and the more affordable stuff is very reasonably priced. I got a lovely little carpenter bee for just $20, including the nice display it came with.Cant wait to come back!

One of my new favorite places. The owner was so sweet to take the time to share facts with my kids and show them a new fun skull. He was so patient! The amount of unique and perfectly placed specimens was fantastic!

Natur is great if youre looking for taxidermy, preserved insects, or stones. The butterfly and beetle collection is especially delightful, with plenty of extra pieces ready for mounting in the drawers you can lose yourself in. The owner and operator is friendly and knowledgeable, and is happy to tell you the story behind each piece, and each piece has quite a story. If youre looking for a piece to turn a room into a discussion, theres plenty of entire wall pieces. You get what you pay for though, and the quality of the pieces does not always come cheap. That said, the abalone and mineral selections are cheap options if you still want a great looking piece.

This is a lesser known spot in the Salt Lake area that everyone should absolutely take the time to check out. The first time I came I was a little hesitant about looking at taxidermy, but the work in this shop is just incredible. The owner has such a passion for it and nature and living things, he is so inspiring to talk to, I could spend an entire afternoon here.

Ive purchased from the website here a few times and have had nothing but wonderful and professional experiences. Today I decided to visit the store and got there 10 minutes before close and already had an idea of what I wanted but found more and the owners wanted to make sure I didnt feel rushed to make my purchases, they were amazing and so kind! Super awesome people, I bought a hanging bat. The people there wrapped it and seemed very knowledgeable. Product is legit and is simple to care for. Prices are a little high but where else will you find this type of stuff. I feel the prices are fair and I will definitely being coming back!

Such a cool shop run by a smart, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful gentlemen. The variety of specimens can’t be beat! I certainly ended up walking out with a lot more than I went in for, but I certainly didn’t mind. Plan on spending as much time as you can because youll find more and more the closer you look. This place is incredible. Ive never seen so many unique items anywhere. The owner is always willing to answer any questions me or my family has, he even sat down with my kids and explained how spiders molt, and let them handle some of the different creatures there. I always enjoy visiting Natur.

This cabinet of curiosities is a must visit! My first visit two days before Christmas. My 15 year old daughter said she wanted something from this shop, but when I first walked in I was concerned the beautiful items would be unaffordable. I am very happy to report that there is something for every price range and even the bigger items are much more affordable than you might think when you first walk in. Every item in the shop, from the lower prices to the higher ones, have had a lot of work and effort put into them. I used Google maps to find Natur, otherwise I may have had a difficult time as Im not familiar with this area, so Id recommend using that. This is one of my rare 5 star rated places. Perfect place, perfect experience (the people there are wonderful) well deserved! Thank you!

The best place to go if you are looking for specimens, if you choose a loose specimen they will let you choose whatever frame you like and do everything for you however youd like it done if you choose to have it framed. You learn so much here and find so many different unique things. Plus there is pricing for all. Go there talk to the owner who is very passionate about his hobby and store. My husband and I had a wonderful time coming here and appreciated the fact that there were pieces that were very affordable among the stunning high priced items. This shop is extraordinary. The owner is very enthusiastic about his art, and for very good reason. There are several different kinds of items to be purchased or commissioned from here. He has an extensive butterfly collection (and can identify any butterfly you bring in yourself). He has articulated skeletons from snakes and moles to foxes and toucans. He has several items that would seem macabre to talk about, but are very tastefully and creatively produced. There is a live fish tank, and several fossils. The artist also loves to talk about anything in his store, and is very much open to questions. My toddler also loves to come to this shop and it gives us a great way to openly talk about how death is an important part of life.
