My family and I love the Wasatch dumbbells and storage rack we picked up last month. It was worth the very long wait for these quality dumbbells and the price stayed the same from his first quote. I will do more business and refer him to my friends and family in the future.

Great equipment and great prices. I was able to sell my inferior equipment and upgrade to their commercial equipment for only slightly more. I can tell already that the equipment will last a VERY long time. I will definitely buy more as needed. I had a part that did not fit my squat rack and they swapped it out for me.

Pick-up is fast! Good product, they missed the free bar clamps.

We bought 350 lbs of rubber bumper plates for about $1.70 per lb and were very happy with our purchase. They got back to our text inquiry within 15 minutes and set up a time a few hours later for us to pick up the plates from the warehouse. On a Saturday, no less.We calibrated the plates at home and were very impressed. Depending on the manufacturer, plate weights can vary wildly off their mark. Generally speaking, anything less than 5% off of the labeled weight is very good. All the plates were only a few tenths of a pound off, which is stellar. For perspective, the 45s were only off by a half of a percent. I have seen way more expensive 45s be off by far more than this. And more importantly, all the sets were equal to each other, so we have assurance that our loaded barbell will be equal.I will definitely be going back here when we need more plates and other equipment for our home gym.

Jon has been helping me outfit my garage gym for several years now. I have about 8 people that join me there through the week and Jons equipment is perfect. Jon is usually responsive and understanding of my particular purchase needs. I really like working with him and hope the best for Wasatch Barbell! My crumb bumpers, barbells, and kettlebells from years ago are holding up great.

I have a combo of Titan, Fringe, a few other companies, and then I got stuff from Jon at Underdogs/Wasatch Barbell. The rack I purchased from him ended up having some damage to it, but Jon offered me a worthwhile discount to keep it. I also got a bench and some plates from him and theyve been great. And his prices are good. Ill be headed back soon for more gear.

Was hesitant buying something without seeing it first, but everything seems high quality. It was really easy to text and arrange pickup. Pickup at the warehouse was quick and efficient. We had to assemble our kettlebell/dumbbell rack but it was simple. Definitely recommend purchasing from here!!

This place has the best prices in town due to the wholesale nature of the business. The owner is getting at least 1,000 text messages a day so he does his best to get back to people within 72 hrs. Picking up equipment yourself saves a ton on shipping and it feels great to do business locally!

I contacted the ksl listing and got an immediate response. I was able to pick up within 2 hours. I purchased a full set 15-45lb dumbbells; I can tell you I am not disappointed. These weights are LIGIT. Way better than waiting at the gym for equipment, using dirty weights, and now its all at my fingertips. I didnt get the name of the gentlemen that helped me but the two I spoke with were very professional and considerate. I would recommend underdogs to anyone building a home gym.

We recently bought a set of bumper plates and were very happy! Brand new, great quality. Communication was great, we were able to pick up the plates within 12 hours of placing the order.

I inquired about price and availability have received no response back.Why take the time to post ads on KSL and then not respond to potential customers??? Kinda mind boggling.

At first I got a real nice deal from them. Months later I texted back because I wanted to purchase some more things, no response obtained. I get it, you guys are busy, I waited for over a month. Again, I tried one more time, nothing. Its been at least a couple of months since the last attempt to talk to one of them and no response. Its a great business but now... I dont know why they dont get back to me, that part is frustrating

I responded to two of their many KSL adds last year. I never heard back either time. I responded again this year to yet another add (we are building a complete gym), and again no response. My business partner finally got a response, but he had the same difficulty in getting them to respond. Not a good way to run a business. He told my partner that they had hundreds of messages per day lately and were doing the best they could. However, we have a friend who bought equipment from them a few years back, and he had the same problem. So its difficult to work with this company now just as it was in the past, and likely will be in the future.

I am absolutely loving the crumb bumpers (house brand, Wasatch) and change plate set I bought along with a standard 45 lb olympic bar. Couldnt be happier. Finding the items I wanted via KSL classified instead of a website wasnt ideal, but based on the pricing (rock bottom, especially when everybody online is sold out of everything) and it only taking 1.5 days from my text to backing my truck up to the dock and driving off, I couldnt recommend it any higher. Ive told everybody that will listen about the great deals.10/10 WILL buy again!

Excellent service, high quality equipment, local vendor. What else could you ask for? Purchased a set of the black crumb bumper plates, Olympic barbell, and dumbbells in August. The equipment is still in like new condition even after months of regular use. I waited months for an online vendor to restock, glad I hit Underdogs up seeing as I was able to get my equipment same day.

A friend of mine who runs a HS strength training program told me about Underdogs and their great prices. When lockdown happened and my gym closed I went to see them and was impressed with the quality and their prices were still very good during a time when others had raised theirs due to shortages. I just just went back and spent about 3x as much in upgrades to my home gym and I plan to go back soon to fill in some gaps in my kettlebell range.

I built my entire home gym with equipment from Jons warehouse. He orders equipment directly from manufacturers in China. Its the same stuff you can buy online (e.g., Body Solid, Titan Fitness, etc), but because his warehouse is pickup only he doesnt have to pay $$$ to freight ship equipment to your home. So the prices he offers are some of the best Ive seen.This sort of warehouse setup with a showroom area is unique in the fitness market. Most places only sell online, so you never really get a chance to try before you buy. And stuff can always get damaged in shipping, so problems can be time consuming and costly to fix. I really appreciate the simplicity of Jons warehouse -- just go there and pick stuff up.The only negative I can think of about the equipment here is that because its made-in-China, some of the QC on stuff like welds, hole spacing, etc isnt always the best. I had one supporting plate for my power rack that had 5 hole spacing when the holes were supposed to be 4.5. The great thing is that Jon was able to swap me for a correct plate the very day that I encountered the problem. I do I think if you truly want the best-of-the-best fitness equipment around, you might want to look into some USA-based manufacturers. But youll be paying a *lot* extra for that (at least 3x the price, if not 5x or 6x), so the value for fitness equipment at Jons warehouse is absolutely unbeatable.Also, something I really appreciate is that while Jon is incredibly knowledgeable about fitness equipment, he never really tries to push you to buy. Hes almost an anti-salesman in that way. But his prices really do a lot of the talking. So if you visit the warehouse...well, its probably going to make sense for you to buy some stuff :)

I had a great experience dealing with Underdogs. They were very responsive to my questions and when I had my appointment at the warehouse they showed me all the stuff I was getting and let me pick a different bar. Their equipment is great and the prices are top notch. You could shop online but with freight costs and underdogs very fair prices you wont find a better value.

I’ve tried to contact them multiple times about buying a home gym set. I’ve tried calling, texting, and messaging on Facebook and have received no reply. They actually disconnected the phone number later the same day I tried to contact them. Very disappointed. I was very excited to make the purchase. I will change/update the review if someone reaches out to me and makes things better.

Not only was he responsive and patient with my questions. When we arrived at the warehouse he allowed us to ask questions and add extra equipment to our order on the spot. Look i get it lots of request for a family owned business bid i will say he is top notch and saves in my phone when i want to expand my home gym. I have bought a whole garage gym from Jon, always been able to get hold of him. With the COVID environment it is hard to play catch up. Rogue Fitness, REP fitness and almost every other retailer has had issues fulfilling orders.I like going to underdogs because I know that if I have an issue Jon will take care of it and of course I really like saving money on shipping.Keep up the good work Jon. I’ll be back.

I’m sure these guys are good, but they’re unresponsive, therefore this review is based off of their customer service. I did get a response twice, to follow some texting rules to get an appointment (which I did, twice), then I got ignored, twice.I have no experience with any of their equipment - although I noticed their warranties are quite short, compared to online competitors.They get bombarded with text messages because they post multiple, confusing, out-of-stock items on KSL classifieds. I would advise to the company to get their own website based on the fitness industry boom. I waited months until things settle down with COVID and they still don’t respond. I tried to support the “local” but obviously they don’t need it.However, if the company is trying to stay small, lowkey, sell to certain/small amount of people, then they have successfully achieved that.I would advise checking out online. Plenty of companies have items in stock now. It might cost a little more, but it was convenient for me to buy it, and have it show up at my doorstep. I’ve outfitted 95% of my home gym with Rogue Fitness and they have been excellent to deal with.

I have tried contacting the number multiple times. I referred him to a friend and, he was taken care of.I have asked numerous times if it’s availability to order a pro style set as his ad states. No response. I figure it’s busy. It’s now going on three weeks. I believe in supporting locally in Utah. So I am hoping I can eventually get ahold of him.

Follow the instructions for texting your order and youll be fine. Fair pricing and they seem to be one of the few businesses not experiencing supply chain disruption. Beware if you use Google maps to get to the warehouse- it had me drive to the end of the road,so look at a pic of the storefront before you go. Very happy with the quality of the equipment.

Jon is great, equipment is solid! Ive purchased a 20# wallball and a variety of kettlebells. Hes slammed now but trying his best to get back to people and worth being patient with. Id recommend him to anyone looking for fitness equipment locally. We all should have built that home gym January 2019! : )

Really knowledgeable - not pushy but will answer all questions and give opinion and options. Quality of equipment right on par with any Nat’l brand and prices as killer. I won’t buy equipment anywhere else!

I understand to some extent as they are likely swamped with requests so getting through is hard but what is very irritating is that I often look on KSL classifieds for used equipment since everything is out of stock all over the country, and they advertise VERY heavily there. Again, understandable, but when you read the description on the advertised items 90% of the time they say the thing they are advertising is out of stock in the first place. So if all the items are out of stock, and the company is unable to take appointments from the majority of potential customers in the first place, then why put 20 ads up for non existant products? Its a huge pain in the rear to get excited about finally finding a rack or some plates just to have it turn out to be another ad from Underdogs saying look at this cool rack for a good price! JUST KIDDING, We dont actually have it available. Under normal circumstances Im sure they are fine and their price seem excellent, but I wouldnt waste my time with them until all this Covid insanity is over with.

I went around back and the product I wanted was brought to the loading dock for me to pick up. The transaction went smoothly and I am happy with my purchase.

No way to get ahold of anybody here. They say there are 2500 people on the waiting list for weights and it is essentially a lottery. They no longer answer the phone and wouldn’t help me in person. Don’t bother.

I built a garage gym and the majority of my equipment came from underdogs. I got a folding rack which is perfect, folds nicely, solid built, feels the same as my buddies rogue rack. I also got plates, barbell, bench, etc and all of it is top quality for amazing prices. Will for sure be coming back.

Quick reply, had tons of stock last time I went. Understandable that with the pandemic he is short on stock and swamped as a family business.

Worst service. Tried texting like he asked and I got a text replying he’s too busy and to text back a week later. So I waited patiently and texted on the first of April of 2020 as asked, no reply or nothing. It’s too bad that customer service seems to have been tossed out during these tough times. A reply goes a long way.
