I typically use Total Wine for all my boozy purchases. I could spend a whole day in this store. The selection is unmatched anywhere else. I love that I could go in and grab a different bottle of Bourbon to try every once in a while. My only criticism is that the staff is all over you when you come in. Haha. I usually know what I want. I think its good though to lead folks in the right direction, especially if you are looking for a certain type of wine. There are a million choices. Anyway this place is phenomenal. 🥃 Cheers!

A lovely gentleman whos name I cant recall for the life of me helped me find the perfect wines based off of my less than knowledgeable descriptions of what I was looking for. I have never had an experience here that would make me want to go anywhere else. They have it all, great staff included!

I really like this place. Such a nice and well-organized store, has an absolutely massive selection to choose from. Theyre going to probably have whatever type of alcohol youre looking for, and most likely have several different varieties of it to choose from. The staff is so incredibly nice and helpful. They really know how to steer you in the right direction and give you good advice when youre trying to make a decision on what to buy.

I went to Total Wine in Milford about a week ago to look for affordable and delicious, organic wines. My friend and I were greeted by an employee named Steve asking if we needed help. Steve is THE BUSINESS! He was so helpful and we learned so much about organic wines and the best regions to choose from. We drove back home to Hamden and talked about what a lovely experience this was the whole way home! I returned about a week later and to my delight I was helped by Steve again. Another fantastic and informative experience! Totally worth making the trip from Hamden. Thanks again Steve and I cant wait to come back. Cheers :-)

Ive been to 10 Total Wines across the nation and none of them has disappointed me in terms of service, variety or price.

Same great selection of beer and all that other stuff ;)Very helpful staff, spent time with me looking up beers to see if they had them in stock.Prices are ok. Parking lot is good and next to ShopRites XL lot. So plenty of room if youre driving a larger vehicle or pulling a trailer.Like Arnold says : Ill be back lolAnd the next day, I went back to get more beer that I could not find at my regular TW in NJ...Jenn helped me pick out a nice wine as well. Love this place. Everyone was so helpful. They were out of what I wanted, but the staffed helped me find something Im equally happy with. Were traveling but if I had one of these in Ohio, Id go exclusively.

Love this place, they have a huge selection of wines, spirits and beers. The staff is not only helpful but knowledgeable about the products. I shop here often and the staff is willing to help you pick out the right bottle of champagne for a celebration or a six pack of craft beer for a birthday present. Prices vary by brand as you would expect, but no matter your budget, you can find quality products here.

This is a HUGE wine store. A little tough navigating for me, but the staff are very nice, very gracious. And I actually got the wine I wanted. If you can handle a big store, this is a great place.

If they do not have it, it doesnt exist. One of the largest selections of alcohol there is. They have an extensive wine inventory after dinner cordials. They even sell all the accoutrements to support your habit from cups to chilling your drink while you wait. They have it. Even the cheese!

I came here for the first time . And I promise it will be the last time . Bad costumer service . Very rude. U came 20 minutes before closing and yea I understand it’s late but still I was already inside . The lady didn’t want to ring me up. She was rude and said that she couldn’t take me and to come tomorrow at 10am . It was so rude but she was able to take other people. How unfair. I don’t recommend anyone coming here . Ever !!

Ive never seen a liquor store this well-organized or large. They were the only one around that carried the Hammer & Sickle vodka I was looking for. They had a lot of great stuff on sale. I also bought a dark rum for a couple cooking recipes, and a new cinnamon whiskey called catch fire its really good Im almost done with the bottle. everyone was so helpful and knowledgeable . They will even let you taste test some new products.

An unbelievable selection of...*everything* in the adult beverages genre. Huge, well laid out, and competitively priced. If you cant find what you want here, you probably couldnt find it anywhere else.

Love Total Wines. The variety of wines, beers and different liqour is amazing. You never leave empty handed. Prices arent nad either.

Wow this was the best and most legit liquor store Ive ever been to. Ive been to bigger ones but this is still the best. Its like a grocery store for liquor. Well marked aisles, tons of associates to help, and a wide selection. One of the only liquor stores in the area who stocks Dogfish Head 120-minute IPA let alone still had it available and not sold out. Courteous staff and customer service.

Great selection, but we found the organization a little confusing. Kind of like alphabetical by height, but not really. Like sours had a section, but stouts didnt seem to. But, we really like being able to buy singles, handy if youre not sure if youre gonna want to spend $22 on a 4 pack.

Large wine shop. It takes time to find what you need on first visit. Store has floating guides who can help to navigate. On 2nd time and after I was able to navigate on my own. Im more into wine, and was impressed with the selection. You should be able to find what you are looking for at reasonable price.

Wide selection . Sometimes higher prices usually lower. You can find stuff there your local wont have . Check your prices and call first to make sure they have it .

Me and my wife were here to purchase alcohol for a party two weeks ago paying well over $300 worth of alcohol and we weren’t ID. Yesterday we went to take our friends to this wonderful gem because we loved the selection and most importantly the customer service. We had two items and one of them was an non alcoholic drink. My wife forgot her ID in the car and was asked to leave the store and get it. I get that there are rules in place but your two representatives were extremely rude in delivering that message. A supervisor( I think) a woman came by and rudely told my wife she needed to get her ID. I don’t even talk to my wife the way she did. I am not one to make a scene and I am pretty laid back, but this really bothered me as no one talks to my wife like that. We had our one year old daughter present as well. I don’t know if she was having a bad day or what but her social skills need work. We thought we finally found a place where we can come normally. Your employee made us feel uncomfortable and embarrassed during our checkout. Like I said we spend well over $300 two weeks ago and no one ID us vs. by two items which one was Non-alcoholic. We will most likely take our business else where as your staff member is incompetent in tailoring her message.

Staff is very rude. My boyfriend who just turned 21 wanted to purchase alcohol for the first time so we stopped here while in the area. We get to checkout, I go to the bathroom because I couldnt make it past the other people checking out, and they say they need to see both of our IDs. The cashier waited for me to come back. After I didnt come back quick enough to her liking, she called the manager over. Caused a scene for my boyfriend who was embarrassed by this. Im assuming they thought I was trying to be sneaky or something?? It was his purchase not mine. Im 20 turning 21 in 3 months. If yall are going to be this strict and make everyone show their ID why dont you ID people at the door before they even get to shop. We are happy to go elsewhere in our local neighborhood that doesnt ask for my ID just because Im with my boyfriend nor do they even card him. Thanks for nothing.

1st time in on Black Friday...heard they purchase a barrel & got their Eagle Rare bourbon my daughters favorite!Everyone was so nice & friendly. I wasnt expecting that from such a large place. I asked where the Sav Blanc was. I was taken by a team member to that aisle and she highlighted some wines for me. I was delighted.It is my new wine destination seeing we are not traveling out of state to do wineries with the virus. Thanks Total wine!

I have been shopping here on a monthly basis for the past several years. However, today was an unpleasant experience to say the least. I actually was accompanying my cousin today as I wasnt buying anything. When we were at checkout the cashier Christopher requested both of our IDs. I pointed to my cousin as she was the customer and he insisted that he needed both. I explained to him that I wasnt purchasing anything therefore it wasnt necessary to see mines. Truth be told had I had identification with me I probably wouldve complied however being that I wasnt driving and I rushed out the house it wasnt until we got to the grocery store when I realized I didnt have my purse. Christopher called for a manager and once the manager came I explained that I wasnt the customer nor did I have my ID. He granted my cousins purchase and walked away. Christopher apparently loves attention because he still felt the need to be argumentative. I will definitely be sending my complaints to Corporate as well as a copy of my receipts from the last several months so they are aware that they lost a regular customer. Im not upset with the situation as everyone has a job to do but he c clearly didnt know policy and once he found out he was wrong instead of just continuing to work or apologize he chose to argue his invalid point. As I walked away I can hear him trying to justify the situation with the next customer when he should have been greeting them.
