Barnes and Nobles in Milford is a very relaxing place to browse for books on a weekend, weeknight, or even weekday They have a large variety of interesting books and magazines.The store also sells in season and off season items such as candles, soaps, bags, notebooks, journals and an interesting selection of gifts and items to buy.Their small Starbucks seating area just reopened, which is a nice place to relax to have coffee or tea and pastry. The items they sale might include cupcakes, sandwiches, soda, cheesecakes, cookies, ect. I find their service staff to be very professional and pleasant.I have no complaints with Barnes and Nobles in Milford, except that I look forward to them having seating around the store again, but that may not be possible until Covid-19 is under control. Also, when they do return to having seating again, I hope they consider putting seating near the teen and young adult books, so they have a place to sit and relax too.

I feel like a kid in a candy store here!!!! I could no sooner choose a favorite book than a favorite grain of sand at the beach. Staff is great. Atmosphere is relaxing. The Starbucks coffee inside doesnt hurt either

I love Barnes and Noble! They have a nice relaxing cafe so you can work, clearance options, the coolest bookmarks, and great journals and stationary! I purchased two books, a journal for 2019, and a cool bookmark!

When you want to quickly find and buy a book, the place doesnt disappoint. Theres a lot of distraction, like games toys magazines etc., a Cafe and a place for your kids to play and learn.

As bookstores go this is a treasury. The shelves are full of a great variety of opportunity to satisfy your reading needs. If you can name your topic of interest then the staff can direct you to the shelve where you can find multiple author’s presentations. When you respond to the staff’s question of ‘what did you last read’ they can send you to shelves of similar genres. If you are just browsing, the time will pass before you realize where it has gone.

This open, airy store has tons of books, giving it the lovely book smell, but it has a lot more to offer. I found a new novel, cookbook, Gutanama cold drink reusable glass a password book and Pusheen socks. It was a good visit.The staff are happy to help and check out was fast. Ill be back.

Thank God you where not closed, like the libraries. Iv had a hard time finding early reader books for my son, I dont like buying them online.So thank you for not closing we appreciate having you and access to the books, and your workers are very knowledgeable.

I dont go into Barnes & Noble much but I took a friend and he was happy to find some things he wanted and I actually found something that I hadnt anticipated finding DVD of one of my all-time favorite movies Robin Hood with Errol Flynn and Olivia de Havilland. But I have heard that theyre going out of business I dont know if thats true but if it is its because theyre expensive

Emily is the nicest and helpfull employee ive ever met at a book store but not only did she help me find an obnoxious amount of books but when the book she recommended me wasnt on shelf as im in the check out she runs over and managed to find me the last copy of a different version of the book. Honestly so kind and respectful answered all my questions and more

I like this place. I could buy all the books available online, however going in, browsing and buying makes the difference.

I was able to get the 2nd book in a series of books Ive been looking for for a few months now! The employees are always super helpful and friendly.

I do the electronic book and it does have it pluses, such as a quick search for information. However it is nice to have an actual book in your hands too. And thats where B and N comes in it once to just browse around the books and see what fits for you before you buy. I have bought on line books both actual and virtual and sometime the little info they give you just isnt enough to make an informed decision. That is why a brick and mortar is nice.

I loved all the different fun items they had to offer. Plenty of parking, easy to find location. I could always spend hours in a Barnes and Noble... Could spend so much money there. My sons favorite place. The staff is always super helpful. He loves to read in the childrens area in the back. The often host childrens events here if youre looking to get out of the house on a cold day with your little reader.

I love the North Haven location. It is a custom focused environment. The cafe is cozy with great beverages and snacks. The magazines and books are neatly at your disposal. There needs to be more outlets in the cafe location. Only one socket location.

Great, great place. You can sit down and have a cup of delicious coffee, or sit and go over a book youre thinking of buying. You are not rushed. But if you need a book or magazine you cant find, there are helpful folks there to help you.

I can always find what I need at B&N. Plenty of parking and easy to get to off I-95. The team members are very helpful in finding whatever I am looking for or suggesting something when I don’t know what I want. Shelves are tidy and aisles are very well labeled.

This is a really nice store: extensive with books, toys, and puzzles/games. Plus a very nice coffee shop with great pastries. You can spend a whole afternoon here and lose track of time while having nice coffee and cakes.

I always enjoy B&N. Unfortunately with the pandemic they eliminated the seating which was the best part

I was shopping for presents for an 11 year old and a toddler. There was a great selection of books for the 11 yr old and knowledgeable staff to help in selecting. Also, a surprisingly large selection of toys, and they had some which were sold out at other online retailers.

Its a typical Barnes and Noble with Starbucks inside. The staff seems very knowledgeable & helpful. The store is always organized and clean. It is stocked well even though they dont carry as many as they did prior to e-books. As all B&Ns if they do not have your book they will order it & have it shipped in few days to store at no extra charge to you.Store is easy to spot from road. It is on the very busy Boston Post Rd but parking lot is always easy to get in and out. Definitely recommend this Barnes and Noble.

How can you go wrong at Barnes and Nobles. Its like a holy temple filled with objects full of knowledge and imagination. I love this place. They keep the place clean and the staff is nice.

I love this Barnes and Noble. My kids also love coming here. They have different events and reading, plus they separate the areas for little kids so I can easily find the age appropriate sections. The cafe is nice and have great desserts, but although it is Starbucks, it is not connected with the rest of the chains and you cant use your Starbucks card to pay.

Not many book stores around anymore... Great place to relax over a coffee and!! While browsing the latest books at no cost.... Amazon may be wonderful for books, but you cant have the experience of a wonderful bookstore
