The best local market around. They have the only pesto that matters and the best local bakery bread to go with it. If the dont have a particular item at the seafood counter, theyll try to order it for me. The staff is kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Throughout the crazy pandemic, theyve been logical, safe and a source of calm. I cant say thanks enough.

Lovely little market in the heart of Mill Valley. A surprisingly decent amount of selection given how small the store is. Their pre-pack and grab-n-go food is great so highly recommend if you need to make a pit stop before heading out in Marin. Also, sleeper wine selection: they have a lot of excellent wine on hand from a variety of regions in the back.

I love mill valley market!! Great selection of high quality groceries, and I love their deli department for amazing ready food on a whim. 4 stars only because it is a little pricey, and the alcohol department was rude to me I felt uncomfortable waiting for my sandwich...if youre under the age of 30 avoid waiting in the deli they were disrespectful assuming I was underage looking at alcohol...

Compact and great selection of yummy (and big) sandwiches, we had the corned beef rubin and carnitas. Lots of beer and wine to choose from for the day trip in the woods. Large selection of mid- to boutique grocery food items. Worth a visit.

Absolutely amazing market! The grocery selection is small but has everything youd need. They have a huge variety of amazing cheeses. Their deli is absolutely fantastic. Some of my favorite sandwiches in all of North Bay. Theyre huge and filled to the brim with amazing, fresh ingredients. The beer selection is good and the wine and liquor selection is incredible. The prices can be a bit high for some items but its always worth every penny. Everyone who works at Mill Valley Market is so friendly, polite and helpful. They have a have a small parking lot and bathrooms.

A great neighborhood market w/first rate produce, meats, sandwiches and a great beer/wine/fine spirits selection including a lot of GF options.

Small but they have an amazing assortment - 100s of condiments - fantastic wine and spirit selection which will gladly fulfill your special orders - believe me, they make fantastic sausages - prior to Covid-19 the prepared food section in the deli was great especially the beef stew - 100s of different candies and chocolates. The Canepas operate the penultimate neighborhood grocery store. Thanks.

Doug and his team are fantastic! Its got a homie family feel and simply a great local market. Thank you for all your work to keep things fresh and keep that market stock during all the challenges of Covid!!!

Very convenienly placed with pay parking up to 6pm. Fair choice of hot & cold food to take away. Good price range and variety of wine. Wide variety of cheeses. Fresh fruits and vegetables as well on offer. Helpful staff.

We love this little town market! Best produce of all Marin County markets. Why? Because there is literally always someone posted there checking, replenishing and arranging the fruits and veggies. For a tiny space they pack in a lot of options - all of them fresh, crisp, clean, stacked... This store and its employees take great pride in making this section shine. The rest of the store does a lot with the limited space. Youll somehow find everything youre looking for. Everything! There is even an attached deli and liquor store. Up front is the largest selection of gourmet chocolate bars North of the Golden Gate. Great store. Great vibe!

The perfect small town market. There is an excellent butcher, an amazing salad bar and a really great wine department. Family owned and operated. I also used their catering department for a party and everything was superb. A great market.

The perfect bougie market in downtown Bougie-ville. Fantastic selection, stellar deli, prices as you might expect.

Incredibly helpful. Amazing selection of foods. A real old-fashioned butcher shop to custom cut and advise your meat selection. Many organic type meat choices. Top vegetable selection; many chosen from very local mini-farms. Local honey from Mt. Tam. Gluten free choices. Fine Olive Oils. And the people at the registers become good friends.

This family run grocery has great veggies, many of which they grow on their own farm and a real butcher! Their shelves lined with goodies are not always common as they are made/grown in small batches from other farmers and small food businesses. The quality is there and so is their personal touch!

I would rate their food and the location 5 stars and I like that you can order sandwiches online for pickup. The reason for this 3 star rating is because the cashiers on the deli side arent very friendly, actually theyre border line rude. They could use a lesson or two on being nice and/or happy towards customers.

This is a Mill Valley institution. They have the best butcher department in Marin. Their sandwiches are excellent. Its not a place to do your weekly shopping unless you dont care about paying considerably extra for most items.

Love the opportunity to get my hands on some unique goods that cannot be readily found at other shops. You do pay dearly for said items.

Top of the line market that squeezes great products into every square inch of space they have. I saw some reviews saying they were expensive but that wasnt my experience. Fair prices for above average choices. Youre going to pay more for homemade lamb sausage than you would for Johnsonville Brats. Seems fair.Beyond that, the folks I talked to that worked there were incredibly pleasant. The meat counter folks were knowledgeable and had time to talk to you without making you feel rushed. Overall a great experience.

Day trip from San Francisco to Muir Woods, wanted a quick bite. This little market is perfect! Hot and cold salad bar and sandwiches made to order. We ate at picnic tables in the adjacent square. Every bite was delish!

I love the MV Market- and I agree: the cashiers are THE BEST! I love the ready-made food. Just would love to love the tapioca pudding also--the recipe on the box has always worked for me. LOVE THE CASHIERS!!

Though it me seem a little more pricey than other grocery stores, this family business carries a lovely selection of healthy, locally produced foods. Be sure to check out their amazing deli. I go their everyday for lunch. The Daily Deal is always yum, and so is their Threewells and the Veggie Roller. Great beer, wine, and spirits selection.

The locals call this Millionaire Market due to the extremely high prices. Some prices are high, but I guess you are paying for the convenience. The hot food and deli are very good, and it is a great place to supply a picnic.

When I need to grab a quick something for lunch they are great. I like getting their chicken pot pie which they microwave for me while I run around grabbing drinks and snacks. They carry a great variety of drinks, alcoholic and non. Specialty food, groceries and snacks in this small town market. The latest Ive tried is a sweet orange fleshed honeydew.Cashiers are really friendly and they support community efforts like Kiddo. Any type of charity you can think of they have a code they can punch in so your purchase will go toward that charity, should have a list on the counter.
