My mother and I stopped here after hiking and camping in Marin. The restaurant was colorful and bright on the inside with sunny outdoor seating. We were helped right away and ordered the Al Pastor, Carnitas, and Marinated Grilled Fish tacos with the pork chile verde and chicken mole tamales.The tacos arrived quickly to our table wrapped in what must have been homemade tortillas which were deliciosos. Everything was mouth-wateringly good and we felt energized by the great food and kind service.Looking forward to visiting again!*Please excuse the little food left in the photo...the food made me forget about taking a good picture!

The tacos and chicken were delicioso (delicious), margaritas refills kept coming, and the staff went above and beyond to take care of us. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Last Sunday we had a lunch at this place. Whether was beautiful, we took a table outside. Ordered couple fish tacos and burrito. Burrito was good, but fish taco had a surprise inside...I bit a piece and felt something weird, I thought it is a fish bone, but when I remove it from my mouth it was a staple!!! Can you imagine!? A staple!!! I decided to leave my review here just to warn people to avoid this place if you wont your mouth/teeth/stomach to be hurt.When I call the waitress to our table to show her this staple she said ‘OMG!’, took this plate and disappeared. Today I got a refund for two tacos on my card. But I do not want my money back, I want you guys pay more attention to food preparation process. Thanks!

WOW! This place was fantastic! This isnt even hyperbole; I have sampled a reasonable range of famed taquerias and magical holes in walls, and Parranga stands out. Two unusual things immediately caught my eye on their menu: quesabirrias and cochinita pibil tacos. Quesabirrias are beef birria and cheese tacos fried and then eaten dipped in rich consomme. They are indeed as delicious as they sound, and not yet a very common item on many menus, and luckily, these are an excellent example of what quesabirrias should aspire to be. The cochinita pibil was a monthly special worth trying, with flavorful pork placed atop an insanely good handmade tortilla. Speaking of which, boy do I love these tortillas--I would eat them with everything if I could get away with it. The asada taco was also excellent and flavorful, and their green salsa was a tasty complement to the food. My fiancee, who is Mexican, agreed that everything was delicious, even the chilaquiles, though I would recommend just straight up loading up on tacos and quesabirrias. We will be coming back next time were in the area for sure!

Great place for a bite, I try y the cochinita pibil tacos and was really good, mezcal cocktails looks good, it will be an option for next time after work!

We have been to Parranga twice now and we love it! You can see by the picture the bones (empty plates) of our food. We love everything. The people that run Parranga are very friendly and you can tell they really want you to enjoy the food because theyre proud of what they do.So far I think the fried plantain and the burrito are my favorite items on the menu.Concerning covid: the tables are generously spaced apart and we felt comfortable eating outside. Indoor dining appears to be mostly empty still which Im okay with given the risks of covid still being relevant regardless of what is allowed by the county. There was enough outdoor seating to handle everybody anyway.

Such a cute place. The food is super fresh and delicious!!! Very good margaritas too. Nice idea to have a little marketplace in the front if you are picking up food to go. Will be back!

Mediocre at best: the food way tasteless, lacked unseasoning, and the caramel on the flan was burnt. The drinks made on site were watery and had very little taste as well. Plus there was no explanation about the two menus being two separate restaurants and thus two separate tickets, no big deal just kind of weird.The restroom was too dirty to use. The rest of the restaurant though was clean and felt very safe. Would not recommend.

Food tastes great - fresh and flavorful. Staff were kind and friendly. Enjoyed this impromptu stop for lunch.

Not the best food we ate on our trip. Quesabirria was kind of bland. Chicken in my bowl was dry, and ordering was confusing. Took a long time to get our flan. Cute place, though, and the enamel serving dishes were fun. Feels like the rough wood tables arent a great idea because you cant disinfect them between customers. Sign says you have to be vaccinated to go inside, but no one checks.

This place is straight 🔥. Everything single dish we ordered was super tasty. Food was delivered timely and in good condition. Packaging was good.

Taco meat was delicious and very well seasoned. Also the agua fresca mango flavor was delicious it was literally like drinking a fresh squeezed mango.

Tacos are delicious. Meat melts in your mouth. Margarita is one of the best I had, and not too sweet at all. My guess is that they do not use a mix. Simple, family run honest business.

Really nice people and excellent food! they sell lots of cool mexican snacks and tchotchkes. tons of outdoor picnic tables to sit at as well. their bathroom is always very nice and clean

I feel like we discovered a secret gem in Parranga. The sopa de tortilla was mild-medium spicy and great. The kid quesadilla was also a hit. I love that they not only have a huge TV for games, but also a ping pong table that a Dad/daughter were using and also a big choice of board games. ¡Autentico y sabroso!

Delicious! We loved the burritos we had and eyed so many other tasty-looking options on the menu. Cant wait to go back!

This place is worth a visit; after that you will know why you will make Parranga a destination. Their food is so good! It is out of this world. A few months ago I had their food for the first time (chicken taquitos). I was blown away. A week or two later I tried their empanadas and those were awesome too.I cant say enough - their rice is perfect, pureed beans are exquisite, and sauces are very tasty.Treat yourself to this excellent restaurant!Enjoy.

Expensive and it isnt that good,ordered the carnita plate....I got like 4 slices of what resembles pork but wasnt at all like it should be.looked baked to be honest and a tiny portion.rice and beans come served together in a soup cup...and they are very plain.daughter ordered chicken tacos....they only had meat in em....no onion or nothing,meat and tortilla....and to top it off with 2 other ppl.eating it took over 45 mins to get a plate to the table.....I will not ever eat there again! And I hope you wont either! Id take del taco burritos over this place anyday.....

A very well deserved 5 stars. My wife and I moved here from Texas, and it had been a major struggle, to find a place that matched some of the taquerias we frequented out there, until we found Parranga. Whats even better is that weve watched them continue to evolve and get even better over the past year - with the exception of removing sopes from their menu, which are sorely missed. All the basics are excellent, but they also have some unexpected items that are must-trys like the sweet/spicy wings and Brussels sprouts. Thanks Parranga!
