I had just moved to the Bay Area and I needed a pre-purchase inspection to buy an used car. I found California Auto Center in Yelp, and decided to do the service with them given their high ratings. Andrew received the car and did an honest and amazing job. At first, no issues were found. Later on the next day, the console displayed an airbag light. I took it back to Andrew and he fixed it with no extra charges.

I scheduled an oil change and used a Groupon Groupon I had no issues just a fast and thorough oil change.

After all the work I’ve done on my 2002 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner it stalled S bound 101 before the Millbrae exit. Got towed by the SM county tow truck to a safe place (for free) then by AAA truck driver (who knows this shop well) Andrew found the issue and even advised me what needs to be done (very honest) Also said that it should pass SMOG check and it did. I mentioned this to my friend and got interested to take his vehicle there as well for inspection. Thank you Andrew and to his crew. Job well done!AC

Brought my two cars for alignment. One of them had a wear problem and the shop went above and beyond what they had to do, to make my car drive as best as possible.The guys here are very courteous and knowledgeable. They also do a great job of explaining the repair process.

The groupon got me Synthetic Oil change Coupon under $40. They also helped me verify whats wrong in my car besides Oil chage and basic PM. But, they could be a little humble/polite to customer intead of being hostile.

Exceptional service. I had a pre purchase inspection done, and got over 25 mins of detailed advice after they inspected the car for 45 mins 100% recommended.

I have 3 cars they all have been serviced at California Auto Center. This is usually the first place I go to when I have car problems because they are trustworthy in terms of their expertise, pricing and time to do the service. Andrew is a fine mechanics and a good businessman.

They take good care of my 2006 Hyundai. They are good at technique and honest. They propose practical solution.

This is a great go to for an oil change. How well youre treated is dependent on who helps you. Not much to say. You can sit while you wait.

I did not know what to do because there was a defective tire in the place I did not have and the clerk rude, who was not born using us and was enjoying it because I do not speak English right and talking loudly with a lot of education. In the end, the owner parks the car in the red lane in a hurry so I can remove the car from his garage which risked taking a ticket. Attention do not take your car in this pessimistic place of ill-mannered and deceitful people.

Repaired Vehicle Quickly and On Time As Promised!

I went to California Auto Center today to get an estimate on damage to my rear fender. I was fortunate to deal with Andy. Andy cleaned off my bumper and put some solutions on the scratches and the bumper looked like new!! He did not charge me a penny.

Efficient and excellent: Periodic tire check found some evidence of uneven wear from misalignment. Took advantage of Groupon deal to get alignment checked and corrected as needed, and indeed, I did need alignment. I highly recommend California Auto Center (even without a Groupon deal).
