I have had great bubble tea from this place many times but one time, I came to this bubble tea place right before closing and the workers gave us the wrong orders and did not put sugar in any of our drinks. They also did not mix our drinks. Then they closed up the shop before we could go back and make them redo our bubble teas because they tasted like trash. The workers just wanted to go home so they made us terrible teas.

We have ordered from here multiple times. There are plenty of KFT around maybe don’t try this one. I will say that their bubbles are not too mushy and their tea is consistent, but this is not okay. It has happened to us on multiple occasions where 1/8 of the drink is gone. At that point I might as well order a medium. It’s a subtle way of ripping us off a dollar each drink. I hope the owner gives me back my multiple dollars. We are loyal KFT drinkers and this is a sneaky scheme that I do not approve of. You’re ruining the KFT name. I hope you remedy this!

Great concept loved the milk tea but passion fruit great tea has a very bitter and strange taste not something i come to expect from passion fruit at all wanted to like it but just ruined the experience for me. Want to give 5 because it can be so good just wish they fix the passion fruit tea.

Been a long time customer of this Kung Fu Tea since I believe it opened in Millburn. The owner is extremely friendly if you catch her around and I only have the best hopes for this place!They are willing to give great suggestions if you don’t know what to get. Overall, I’ve enjoyed the drinks I’ve ordered from here. I usually get Wintermelon Green Tea (sometimes Milk Tea) as well as some others. Depending on the drink, can be a little sweet but thankfully you can always change the sugar levels!

I love it here! they have a wonderful variety of bubble teas and shakes. I thought I wasnt going to like it cause Im very picky, but bubble tea broke the barrier.

Love at first sip!!! Good bouncy boba, strong tea flavors, and fast, friendly service. The owner greeted us right away and explained their menu. They offer about 11 flavors of tea (hot or cold), milk tea, slushie, yogurt, Milk Strike (Lactaid milk with tea), and more with a handful of toppings. Of all their flavors, Ive enjoyed their classic taro with milk tea and boba so far. I also appreciate that you can customize the amount of sugar and ice (zero on both for me). Other flavors on my list to try are coffee, oolong, and Thai. Please leave me be, Im drinking my boba tea! :)NOTES/TIPS:**You can park in their municipal lot on the corner of Main St. and Essex St. or in another municipal lot by Dunkin Donuts on Millburn Ave.**During the Covid Crisis, they accept orders on their app, then request that you text them your name when you get there. Then theyll bring your order outside to you.** To enroll in their rewards program, you need to download their app.

It’s really good. They have many flavors and many to choose from, if you order online you should bring a wipe to wipe the top of it but over all great ❤️

I would refrain from this place in Millburn. My daughter didn’t like the taste of the bubble tea that she ordered. I asked the cashier if they can change the order with something else or reimburse it. She was nice enough to listen and trying to help us! However, she told that she needs to ask her manager to get her approval first. I understood her situation and told her that “ please talk to manager and let us know”. Five minutes later, she approached our table and told us that her manager told her that unfortunately they will not be able to change or reimburse it since she didn’t approve it. I have been living in this country almost for 17 years and IT’S THE FIRST TIME I COULDN’T GET CREDIT or REIMBURSEMENT due to unsatisfactory product / drink. I would give ZERO STAR if I should be able to!!!

Update: Sloppy. No top off like other locations. I would avoid this Kung Fu in Millburn. See huge void in new cup picture.Been coming here since the beginning. Used to love everything. Regular bubble milk tea is always my go to with less ice of course. Oreo is always a close second. However, new staff has progressively downgraded this establishment. First, the newer staff started not topping off the tea, letting bad lid seals go to customers, and using less and less oreo to the point where dusting would be a generous description. Now todays visit with the newest employees resulted in a 3/4 cup of BS (see picture). With more and more bubble tea spots opening, the owners better right the ship or theyll be sunk for good.

Absolutely awful. I’ve ordered from here THREE SEPARATE TIMES and each time they just throw my drink in a brown bag, upside down mind you, just for the drink to break in the bag. Who does this? A drink in a bag? Not even in a cup holder? Smh terrible. I’ve called asking for a replacement and was told it’s not their fault that the cups are so flimsy. What kind of response is that? Definitely not customer oriented. Only interested in their money. Go to the Montclair location instead. At least they take the extra care to secure their drinks before giving them to customers. Ridiculous.

I like this place enough to take a drive to pick it up on the weekends. Not truly authentic Asian teas, but hits the spot when you are looking for a flavored bubble tea drink. Lots of different flavors to choose from and staff is nice and friendly. It is located within busy in town location of Millburn.

I love ordering ahead and getting to customize my drink - flavors, add ins, amount of sugar and ice. Always delicious. Poor parking but thats not their fault, just be aware.

My daughter kept bugging me for a bubble drink and she googled a close location to home and we went here and she enjoyed her drink.

I took my glambabe there, she loves the bubble tea, i decided to try their expresso coffee with almond milk and i have to say i wouldnt get coffee from them again. it was very weak, it taste like warm milk.

Today I accidentally ordered my drink online and sent it to the wrong location. The location I sent it to was thirty minutes away. Within two minutes, I realized so and immediately called the store it was sent to. At first, they said that they have not made the drink yet. They also said that they are unable to refund it for not preparing the drink. The second time I called them, they declined it when I was in the middle of talking. Very rude and disrespectful! I am very diassapointed in their attitude.

So happy they brought thai tea back 😁 the only reason why i go there is for thai bubble tea.. hands down the best!

Love their bubble teas! Ive been to 3 of their locations, and theyre all consistent in quality. The tapioca pearls are always soft and fresh, and sweet!

I love this place and come 1-2 times a week they are the best but I went there once and they forgot to take out the tea leaves.

The place is really good, but one fault, the taro is one of my favorite drinks, and once I tried this place, the results of the taro were identical to the taste of buttered popcorn, and not the good one you’d get at the movie theater. No, this buttery popcorn was exactly like the popcorn flavored bean in the gross bean game you’d play when you were younger, and this happens to be one of the gross beans.

Location is great, first time was good, second, meh. Over 20 minutes for 4 teas and I’m sorry, but can’t understand the reviews on friendly service. Service with a smile, I’ll give you, but the lady is always stressed.

Well this is my first time going to this Kung Fu tea usually go to the Kung Fu tea in Montclair were the cashier and the staff are extremely gracious, kind, friendly and inviting unfortunately I didnt get the same experience here the cashier which was a heavy set blond I didnt get her name seem to be in a mood no smile no greeting not very friendly at all the other staff member who was making the tea was very professional and quick with service the drink was awesome but unfortunately I wont be coming back to this establishment due to the lack of professionalism of that cashier which made me feel very uncomfortable and not welcome.

I. Love. Kung. Fu. Tea. This place blew my mind! The boba tea was not artificial tasting and had just the right amount of lavor. Personally, I like the origunal the best. And most importantly, the bubbles. They were soft, yet chewy. They also carried so much but so little flavor. My favorite!

Very expensive milk tea, but used the cheapest powder creamer to make tea “milk” which mainly cause heart disease, and the bulbes are hard and yuck! The whole cup of milk tea with bulbes cost me $4.81. I know the capital is just 20cents! The Chinese use cheapest tea powder with water to make the whole day supplied tea, and the cream powder is very very cheap too. A bag of bulbes 99 cents can be cooked for the whole big pot of bulbes to provide the customers on that day. So no more visit the store to save my money and the most important health.
