Typical pier one with furniture laid out for you to see D well as rooms that are designed together to see how everythin g tires in. Staff were friendly and appreciate without being pushy and also showed you different ideas for accent pieces to help bring everything together.

I just left pier 1 and had a pretty decent experience. Was getting ready to give a 4 star review but that changed when I got home. 1st Ill start with when I entered the store I was greeted right away and offered assistance (however it is a weekday and there were only a few other shoppers in the store, but still). Everyone loves to feel like a VIP and like they are being attended to, but not hounded and I felt that they pulled this off. 2nd, in looking around the store, they rly do have some beautiful furniture and accent pieces, I couldve spent a couple hours in there if not for a major time crunch. However, I looked at 1 bureau, 1 night stand and 1 table and every single piece had ATLEAST 1 noticeable scratch. I just cant believe they had those pieces out in the store! I came here for a mid to upscale feel (something nice but affordable) and at first glance thought thats what I found but getting deeper into the search was extremely disappointing, I mean how do employees not notice these things! Which brings me to my next point. One of the items I purchased, a beautiful turquoise bowl, literally had left over food inside! Obviously some client walking through the store couldnt be bothered to find a trash and tossed it in this bowl. The annoying thing is that i brought this bowl to the counter to be held while I continued looking and than a DIFFERENT employee checked it out AND WRAPPED IT UP! This piece made its way past 2 employees and not 1 of them even noticed! I dont understand how thats even possible!!! Lets step up the attention to detail people!
