For years we had positive dealings. 5 years ago we dropped some forks off and just barely got them back! We called multiple times and was always promised our part back within a week to no avail. We finally got them back and the owner tried to act like we forgot them. Needless to say, we will never go back.
The best, so friendly and knowledgeable! They get me back riding the next day
Employees willing to stay 10 minutes after hours so I can get there after work. Very friendly, very willing. A bit on the pricey side.
Excellent place, I do recomed it 100%, straight forward, great prices and more important, they know how to satisfy your needs...Thank you Mike
Always glad to spend money at this shop! Very helpful and friendly people!
GOT MY TIRES FAST AT A GOOD PRICE
The owner told me to bring my bike down. I took all the time to load it up and then he arrogantly said he wouldnt service the bike because he was too busy. I was looking forward to doing business with them but I feel they are too arrogant and dont honor their word.
I really needed a rear motorcycle tire replaced, everyone else was a week to a week and a half out.Within 2 hours I was on the road riding again!I will be a returning customer. Thanks Guys.
Mike is the greatest love this place super knowledgeable about everything from vintage to the latest
These guys are always give their honest opinion, and not looking for anything in return. Great place to shop for all your motorcycle needs.
This company is great to work with! They specialize in big boy toys. Mike is great to work with, I rebuild my Cr500, Raptor 660,450! Customer service is great never had an issue. Parts are on time and the right part! Mike is very knowledgeable! Love this place!
Great place and love the staff. Worth the trip from Tooele to get new tires and more.
My new go to.. Wish Id have known way before now about this little shop. His prices are a bit high for gear.(way better pricing than some other stores on state street in this area. Wont mention any names).... His services for maintenance and tire mounting is instant and priced competitively. Doesnt claim to be soo busy and unable to perform small jobs. He will say bring it drop it and give me x amount of time. He will get it done No Bs ....Bought so much he did give me a small discount......all in all Glad to have such a store with so much stuff in stock in salt lake area...5stars allday.. Thanks Boys see ya soon
This is the place! I haven’t been treated so well by an establishment for quite some time. Pricing was great and the friendly ownership is the best. Support your local small business!!
Cycle house is the best place to get the parts I need for my dirt bike! Mike is always very friendly.
Master mechanics! Great staff. Without hesitation, i recommend cycle house. I came in for some basic work and decided to let them tune it. Completely impressed! Fair pricing and solid work. I didnt know what I was missing. Thank you Cycle House crew!!
Awesome store! Great owner.
Highly recommend going here if you need stuff for your motorcycles, atvs, etc. The manager will do his best to help you if he can.
The best Mike was polite fair promise x was before he said best prices thanks⁰
I went in to look for a part for my scooter. I was stopped mid-sentence when I was inquiring about the part and told that they didnt have time for that. I was told that they were only working on seasonal tune ups. I didnt even ask them to work on anything for me, let alone get a chance to speak to ask the guy about the part I was looking for. This place is lame. They are pretentious and rude with absolutely no customer service skills to speak of. I wouldnt buy a 25 cent piece of tubing from these guys if they were the only ones it Salt Lake that carried it. I would pay $3.00 in shipping for that 25 cent piece of hose from someone online before they would ever see a quarter from me.
Horrible service. Took bike in for a flat tire - charged $40, then they charged $90 to tinker with a headlight that didnt have any issues, then charged $16 to put in 4 bolts on the floor mat which we had removed on purpose. DO NOT USE THIS SHOP - THEY ARE THIEVES OF THE FIRST MAGNITUDE!!!! Seriously - if you use this shop, be prepared for work to be performed without your permission and they will not release the bike until they are paid their extortionist price. DO NOT USE CYCLE HOUSE OF SALT LAKE CITY!!!!!!!!
I think they sell your parts to other customers when they claim to be working on them. Dropped off a set of Banshee cylinders 6 months ago and paid in full to have them ported and polished. Every time you call they say Ill have them ready tomorrow.
Cycle house treated me Amazing. Great pricing and quality work. Mike was a pleasure to talk to and very knowledgeable.
Great shop. Honest and they know what they’re doing. This will be my regular shop from now on. MIKE is a great worker highly recommended
I’ll be honest and say that my first visit to Cycle House about year ago didn’t go so well. My lack of knowledge about motorcycle parts and accessories generated some unnecessary comments from one of the employees. I won’t go into details, but I left the store with absolutely zero intentions of ever coming back.Fast forward a year, and I was in need of some motorcycle gear and was having trouble finding them at other shops in the valley. I swallowed my pride and decided to visit Cycle House again. My second visit, I was assisted by the owner Mike. Let me just say that this guy is so friendly and the customer service I received from him was incredible. He treated me like he’s known me for years! He was very competitive on pricing and actually the cheapest in the valley on a few different items that I need. Honestly, I’m glad I decided to come back and give these guys a 2nd chance to earn my business. As long as the great experiences continue to happen, I will be happy to support Cycle House and purchase more stuff in the future.
They have what you need on hand and Mike is very helpful
Great service, friendly staff and reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend cycle house and will be going to them for service in the future, theirs a reason why there busy.
Big thanks to Corinne for assisting me with my warp 9 wheel order. Her attention to detail is second to none, and her willingness to get the job done not only quickly, but correctly was truly appreciated. Big thank you Corinne
Mike is great there anything you need he will take care of you, he knows what he is doing you can always trust him with any build. he been in business a very long time I recommend him to anyone. everyone will have a couple people they cant please so not all reviews on here are 5 star but they should be. great quality, great customer service, all around 10/10
These guys are the best, been going there for years
Great service and prices, friendly and has a great selection of products! Highly recommend! 👍
This place is the coolest, and I dont even own a motorcycle!
Love the service here, Mike its a great guy, always helping with any questions. He help me with my ducatin 848
The people here are super helpful and great customer service.
I never write reviews about anywhere. This is literally the first Ive ever done, let me start by saying Mike is awesome super friendly, helpful, and informative. Went in thinking I needed a new rear tire on my bike due to some misinformation, turns out just needed a new tube, got the job done in maybe an hour and ride out feeling very satisfied. This will be my number one shop from now on. Highly recommend.
Ive been buying parts and accessories from Mike for years. Fantastic place for all your atv and snowmobile needs. I highly recommend Cycle House!!!
They had what I needed (which was a fairly specific dual-sport rear tire) and he sold it to me at a price competitive with what I could get online and offered free mounting on top of that.More importantly, the customer service was top-notch. I worked retail for years and I really appreciate it when a store owner or employee is not pushy or hovering, but still attentive and ready to answer any questions.
Mike and the folks at Cycle House are fantastic!!! Every time I go there they treat me like a good friend or next door neighbor! Very friendly and helpful! They also turned my bike repair around in one day!!!!!!!!! 5 stars!!!! Go here for merchandise and repairs! best cycle shop in town!
Super knowledgeable, they always have what I need or order parts in in a timely manner and can do installs on almost any bike. Truly a one stop shop.
Nice place.. Super friendly. .... Went in about a month ago looking for a pair of gloves, ended up buying a pair of gloves and head band do wrap thing, and a tank bag for my new KTM 1190.. bag fit perfect.. guy behind the counter (I think he was the owner?) was super nice.. all and all a good experience.... I need a jacket, Im going back on my way to Tombstone....
Mike and the team at Cycle House are great!! Got my quad up and running, for a very fair price. Mike kept me informed on the progress along the way as well. Will certainly be a returning customer
I burnt my clutch up in my cruiser, the dealer wanted $580 and had to order the parts in. He walked me through my options and we ordered a Barnett upgraded clutch and conversion kit $350 and it was here the next day to ride! Amazing customer service! I found my favorite bike shop!
Great service!!! This company went above and beyond to make sure I received my online purchase in time. Made me feel like a valued customer. Highly recommended!!
Great service. I have been going to this place for my bike servicing for over a year now and wouldnt go anywhere else. Very friendly, quick, and quality work.
Crazy to see all these people post about their experience with Cycle House and Mike. I have been using since cycle house since 2000 when I bought my first four wheeler. I can honestly say I have never seen this behavior that is listed.( I have 7 machines and that’s a lot of servicing over the years) Mike has always talked to me with respect and has been fair with anything thing that he is involved in. Mike has always completed my services and performance modifications in the time frame promised. When Mike has found something additional that needed to be serviced he would always call for an authorization for approval. With all that being said you get treated like you treat people. There has been times Mike and I didn’t always agree on things but was always taken care of. This day in age people have these crazed expectations of service…. Get real stuff happens. Mike and they cycle house team are a 5 star rating and is one of the best shops in town! Best prices in service and merchandise! Thanks Mike and team!
The guys here are always awesome to work with. They are friendly and knowledgeable, and take the time with their customers. Thanks again guys!!
TERRIBLE. I am very sorry to say but this place is a joke! I ordered tires over two weeks ago and was told they would be there within three days of ordering and still I have yet to get my tires and installed. I understand its pretty much a one man show at Cycle House but if he is going to get in over his head to the point he cant even get tires in stock then he needs to hire more hands. I asked for a refund and was told to wait till the tires got there, he called me after I left and said yeah actually the back tire is on back order, REALLY, isnt that something you would check before ordering so you dont have a customer hanging forever? This is my daily driver and I expected tires over a week ago, I almost wrecked in the rain because of lack of tread... just being honest, dont deal with this BS and go to wrights 👍👌
My roommate had his bike there for well over a month for a clutch lever. They told him he needed a new battery and an oil change. It was the wrong battery, the battery wasnt fully charged. The oil was over filled and they stripped the drain plug and didnt tell him. Halfway home his clutch lever started to come off and he had to try to tighten it while riding. We got it home after a week in the shop and it wouldnt restart. Charging it for several hours and it only would run once before not turning over. It left a pool of oil in our garage. He called them back (I was in the room) and they said oh yeah, we stripped it, bring it in Monday. They said it wasnt restarting because of the starter relay, they ordered the wrong one not once but twice. No communication, they only called twice out of the 5 weeks they had the bike. No pricing was ever mention unless specifically mentioned. 5 weeks later, the oil was still over filled until he went to the back himself and got a mechanic to drain it. Then hes finally riding home from the shop, and the bike acts like its going to die. And in the middle of traffic, the engine dies. Mind you at the start of all this, all the bike needed was an oil change and shift lever. Neither of which was done properly. Never again will anyone in our household go to these guys. Its been nothing but a nightmare and nothing was done even remotely correctly. Dont waste your time or money. Stay away.
Ok I am not one to write many reviews and when I do it usually for a friends business. I am going to say this, I have been to CH a few times now and each and every single time they have offered me free advice, good tips and sound reasoning to back up what they say.Today I went in and Mike was the only one there, I had been to 6 other shops looking for a single bolt. These other larger more name brand shops gave excuse, and reason as to why they did not carry a bolt. In 5 min time Mike had the blueprint of my part, the size I needed and was able to help me out after 2 hours of searching. I appreciate that he also talked shop and bikes with me for a few minuets before helping a pair of customers that had just walked in.Thanks for the help Mike, your right I will be back in.
Dishonest sales tactics. Not once have I paid the price quoted to me, its always substantially more. Im so done with Cycle House...
Good people, honest, willing to help you find anything . good selection great prices, plenty of clearance stuff in store. has bikes parts and a great service department
This is the only place I go to for my dirt bike parts. They always have what I need. Great deals, great staff
If you need service, expect very little or go elsewhere. I dropped my bike off for some wiring to be fixed on a Monday, and was told it would be done for sure in 4 days. So, I called shortly before they closed on Friday, and was told they hadnt touched it, but they assured me itd be done on Monday... Tuesday at the latest. I hadnt heard anything again, so I called late Tuesday. They hadnt touched it but the man I talked to said hed get it done first thing in the morning. Didnt hear anything. I waited, thinking theyd call, but ended up calling them on Friday (now 11 business days later). He said theyd started working on it and that I could come pick it up before the end of the day. So, I show up to retrieve it 15 min before they close. Could you guess what happened? Still not done, maybe Monday (two weeks after dropping it off). Needless to say, Im not so sure itll be done then either. No apologies from anyone. Never doing this again. What a joke.
Called ahead for a jet. They said they had it. I got there, and instead of getting the part I got a 15 minute unsolicited lecture about how smart the manager was, and how I should be paying him for the advice he was giving me. I tried his solution. It didnt work, but ya know what did? The jet that I called ahead for that they wouldnt sell me. Complete ass holes. Both of them. Go to Wrights or even Plaza Cycle.
Been here a handful of times and have always gotten taken care of fast, friendly, and even for a very great price! Thanks for the amazing work and gear!
Very knowledge people I think this is a great place!
The only place I will buy parts for my bike or get it serviced. Very knowledgeable.
Awesome place. Mike the owner is super nice and helpful. Always buy my gear here
I have been going here for 20 years now, Mike always greets me with a smile and my first name. It is great to have someone I can depend on to take care of the heavy duty rebuild/maintenance for me when I cant.
They have had my bike for 3 weeks for a clutch and a starter. Week #2 was told the parts were ordered and they would have it done by the weekend. The following monday was told the same exact thing. Friday i was told the starter was done and they were working on the clutch. Saturday evening at 4 p.m. still my bike is not done. When i asked how long it takes to do the clutch and was told a couple of hours. so how is it that my bike is still not done? I will never bring my bike or anything else to cycle house. They are liars. I am not happy with my experience and i would not refer anyone to the place
Mike the owner is awesome, very fair and honest.
They are great thank you maike and your employe
The worst place to go! Don’t trust them.I had my rev top end rebuilt and had to take back twice after being up charged over 500.00 more then quoted. when I picked up and took it out the exhaust manifold fell off only to find that the gaskets did. It get replaced after I was charged for a full top end kit! When I called Mike he told me I could bring it in and buy new gaskets!During this time I took my 2001 in for a bogging out problem was told it was a wire paid 90.00 and Took it up to ride and sled had no power took it back and cort said he cleaned 180.00 sled still is not correct so when I called on this one mike said bring it back in but it’s not the same problem so I’ll be charged for a repair.Nice guys to your face but tend to not have a clue. I would not recommend this shop for a lack of integrity.
Great customer service and prices!
Summary: Dont go here, it sucks. I gave these guys 2 shots, I wanted to love this shop because it is conveniently located for me and Mike seems like a nice guy. Unfortunately I had two pretty awful experiences. The first time I brought in my Yamaha WR450, I needed to have the valves adjusted. This is normally something I do myself but I had a moto trip planned and just didnt have the time to do it. I had already checked the tolerances and thought about giving them the measurements but decided I would just let them do it. Other than that the bike was running fine. I was quoted $200 for them to shim the valves, and they said the bike would be done in 4 days. I received no call or update on the 4th day. I called them on the 5th day and was told they hadnt got to the bike yet, but he would that day and that the bike would be ready that afternoon. No phone call that afternoon. I called them the next day and they said they had pulled it apart and it needed a new camshaft and that it would now be $575 out the door. I had no way to verify this and the bike seemed to be running fine, but I took his word and gave him the go ahead and said I had a trip planned with the bike the following weekend and would need the bike FOR SURE by Friday at the latest. He said no problem, it will be done by Wednesday. I received no calls or updates all of Wednesday, so I called late that afternoon and was told it wouldnt be done until the next day. This dance continued for another 2 WEEKS (I didnt get to take the bike on the planned trip, huge bummer). I finally went in to pick up the bike thinking there would be some kind of discount for the wait, but I was charged in full. I got the bike home and started it and it ran almost the same a previously. I checked the valves and they measured nearly the same as before. I called to tell Mike this and was told I must be mistaken and I could bring it in again, but would be charged. This should have been the last straw, but after about a year I decided to give them one more shot. The second trip in was for a simple fork seal and tire replacement. The result was the same type of poor service and run around (was told it would take a day and ended up taking 4) and the seals started leaking after about 5 hours. Just dont go here, it sucks.
Good shop to have your motorcycle, ATV 4 wheeler fix .Honest and fair prices .
I have been to Cycle House a number of times to pick up odds and ends for my bike. They have always been helpful and friendly and the one time they didnt have the part I needed in stock they were able to order it and get it the next day. Support local businesses and shop at Cycle House!
Awesome service. Used to only go to Honda Suzuki of SLC for service. I cannot how happy I am to have found Cycle House. Mike always treats me well. Friendly service & FAST . . .Darn Fast. In & out in one day both times I went there. Best in SLC hands down.
What a great place to get all your Scooter goodies!
I took my bike in to have the front sprocket changed and when I picked it up and drove it home the front sprocket came off while I was on the freeway. I was lucky I didn’t die. Also the owner Mike is a perverted old man! He would constantly say very inappropriate comments to me. He called my cell phone and continued the sexual harassment even after I made it very clear to stop!
Had to get a specific helmet next day and this was the ONLY place in Salt Lake that could do it. I called almost a dozen other shops before I got a hold of the owner Mike. Me made happen what no one else could and thats earned him a customer for life.
They do great work and have everything you need to ride.
Mike is not nice.
I will only go to cycle house for my motorcycle repairs they are the best...
Was overcharged. Then was argued with for twenty minutes in front of my daughter. Finally I just gave up and left, Then realized that he actually charged me a additional $20. Must have been because I argued with him for twenty minutes....I wont ever be going back and I am making sure all my riding buddys stay away from there as well.
I took my bike in on a Thursday to get the oil change and sparkplugs changed and was told it would be ready the next day. Well my bike wasnt ready until the following Wednesday. Also There was a small chip on my gas tank that wasnt there when I took it in, needless to say im not happy with the service and I wont be going back.
My interaction over the phone with the lady in service was enough to encourage me away from Cycle House. I was told an hour earlier that they did work on Piaggio/Vespa. When I called back to make an appointment a lady said they didnt work on the cheap China stuff. I told her my brand and she said I guess we are getting desperate. Interesting, rude, inappropriate. I was looking to get my current scooter fixed and to purchase a new one. Headed to Scooter Co just down the street.
Mike is a G and will get you what you need at the best rate.
Mike is a pleasure to work with if you have a question I guarantee he can answer it!
Cycle House is the best motorcycle, ATV service shop in town. I love these guys and would recommend them to everyone.
Mike is the owner and a very knowledgeable person, will work with you on prices and loves to help.
Best deals on tires for bikes
Mike and staff are very nice, and got the job done for my consignment sale. They helped me set a fair price, and definitely protected me from tons of looky lou phone calls and visits! They kept me nicely informed for offers and negotiation.Keep in mind though - their KSL ads are mostly to sell their stock - DO YOUR OWN KSL POSTING/CLASSIFIEDS (and just put Cycle House as the phone contact in your ad)Selling stuff is not that fun, no matter how you do it. Mike and Cycle House took most of the hassle out of it (for a reasonable commission)
My experience at the Cycle House on State StreetI have a 2012 Hayabusa with 3000 miles on it that needed an oil change. So i brought my bike down the the cycle house on state street to get my oil changed as well as an HID kit and some accent lights put on the bike as well. I dropped the bike off on 6/4/13 around 1pm, a women at the front tells me it will take about 1 to 2 weeks. I said ok thats fine and leave the bike.So on 6/10/13 i call and speak to the man who is in charge of the store and he tells me that its almost done should be done later today and ready for pick up in the morning on 6/11/13. He told me that he would give me a call back.6/11/13 comes i dont get a call from the shop but i dont think any thing of it because maybe there wa set backs.6/14/13 i call to see whats up with my bike. Same guy tells me that they are working on it and will be done in one day. He will give me a call tomorrow when its done.6/17/13. I call the shop again and the same guys tells me that its being worked on and will be done today and be ready to pick up in the morning. He says again that he will give me call in the morning when its ready.6/18/13 comes i call the store yet again around 11 am, same guys tells me yet another story about how it only has an hr left and will be ready around 4pm and he will give me a call.I had to work that day so i thought i would pick it up the next day.6/19/13 i call around 11 am and he tells me yet again that its got another hour on it and will be done today. So i deiced to show up at the shop around 430 PM to pick up my bike.Once there at the shop they make stand around for a bit and then tell me its not ready yet and will be done tomorrow and they he will give me a call when its done. I say no i want my bike now i will take it to another shop and have what ever you could not finish in 2 1/2 weeks somewhere else. They Man says ok and hands me a bag that has my HID kit and my accent lights that he had not installed at all. Also he never even changed my oil. He lied to me for 2 1/2 weeks i have the recored phone calls to prove it.
Great service and gear.
Very helpful man there.
I wouldnt bring a tote goat to this CLOWN!totally a JOKE!
Might not have everything, but if he cant find what you need, hell help you find someone who can.
Best bike shop in town wont go anywhere else Mike always takes good care of me
The only place I go to get my motorcycle service
These guys hate the human race; they cant smile, it would hurt their face if they did
Over priced and they’re always delayed a week or more.
They sell used items as new. Bunch of snakes.
Good people
I have been using the Cycle house for years. Its the only place I go for parts and service.
Just awful experience i tried to get my bike serviced and they mucked it all up...after 1100$ i have a bike that smokes, eats oil, has a blow fuse, and they didnt tighten the exhaust pipe so it came off on the first ride.
Great resource
Honest staff
Nice
