Great coffee place, however the bathroom made me feel as though in some way shape or form my spiritual form was endangered.

The aroma of roasted coffee beans when ya walk in is amazing, it hits ya as soon as you open the door. Absolutely the best freaking cup of coffee that Ive ever drank. The atmosphere is really nice as well

Favorites include: dirty chai, iced coffee with oat milk, and today for my (pregnant) 31st birthday drink, I got a large sugar free, caffeine free vanilla iced latte!

Visually, its a very appealing coffee shop. Very rustic, brick walls, old wood floors and a great concrete countertop. Im not a fan of the big coffee chain so try to support local coffee shops. But, I hold them to a higher standard. The coffee has to be better than the chain. Unfortunately Blackbird didnt cut it. Im giving 3 stars for average. The world famous ice cream thing was a big disappointment.

Coffee is great, people friendly, music isnt too loud to be able to work on their wifi. Plus... clean bathrooms!

What a lovely little coffee shop! I went in this evening for a coffee and found it to be the nicest little place. The coffee was delicious and the service was great and I am certainly looking forward to going back the next time I come through Milledgeville. What a nice place to relax and have a coffee!

On Friday, June 25th my family and i had dinner in the area, walked down the street to the coffee shop about 8:55 pm. My son, daughter and son-in-law wanted to order something really fast. The young lady who was working, immediately had a horrible attitude saying”what do you want”? They placed their order and she began slamming things down and continued with a bad attitude. My daughter walked out. As soon as they received their coffee and walked out, she followed them very fast and aggressively slung the door open propping it up with a block. As we stood there, she threw the chairs on the table by slinging them around. My mother approached the young lady and asked if she owned the shop. The young lady said No, and I know I have a really bad attitude! My mother answered, yes you do. The young lady said, “ I know, and y’all have a great night”! Her tone was so sarcastic and hateful.The shop was very nice and the coffee was good, but I would not go in there again if I knew she was working there. Having a bad day is one thing but admitting you have a bad attitude in inexcusable!

Ive been ordering from here consistently since the start of the year and I couldnt go to any of the local coffee shops in NYC for some time. Theyve opened since then and Im still getting my beans regularly from here. Lightning quick shipping, quality of the beans remain unmatched.

We took my son to look at Georgia College today and found the coolest place for him to get a coffee and study. Blackbird Coffee is a hidden gem walking distance from the college. The coffee is great and the staff is friendly. My son is looking forward to going there often. My wife says to try a Blender!

Nice coffee shop downtown near Georgia College. Nice people and decent prices. My only compliant was my and my sisters coffees were not close to hot when we got them. They were warm, but not as hot as one would expect coffee to be.

I have been going here for the past 6 years and always receive wonderful service and tasty coffee. The staff is fun and personable. They make your experience as memorable as possible, even if you are just grabbing a quick snack.

I frequented this middle Georgia coffeehouse on pretty much a daily basis from October of 2016 to June 2018 during my two years away from New Orleans...it was one of the few places that made exile in Georgia more bearable. Excellent selection of coffee beans for sale, unusual varietals rarely seen available in the coffeehouse setting. Extremely friendly staff, they always treated customers like old friends. The coffee drinks were a bit overpriced, I would recommend sticking with their brewed drip coffee. Prices are somewhat upscale, but the excellent source beans made it worthwhile.

Nice coffee house nestled in the popular downtown dining section. There are plenty of places to sit and enjoy your favorite beverage while working on that next business plan or good old fashion homework. The decor is nice and I particularly liked the poured counter tops and the rustic feel of the old brick and mortar.They offer most of your favorite coffee themed beverages and a few other options for those who have never acquired the taste. I was disappointed they do not serve Turkish coffee or Cafezinho.I was pleased a latte was quite less expensive than that of the big chain places making Blackbird a place I will visit again.

By far one of my favorite, if not my number one coffee shop in GA. Their coffee is always yummy, service is fast, and atmosphere is perfect for a chat or for studying! Also, their scones and cinnamon rolls can not be beat!

I was looking for a quaint place to have an online meeting and enjoy a cup of coffee. I left my order and card with the barista to process when he got to it. There were no other customers in the shop at the time. As I was setting up my computer several others came in along with the manager Bailly. She was extremely rude and told me I had to stand in line to pay and that the tables were for paying customers. Ill never be back.

Blackbird is absolutely fantastic. The place smells amazing and really feels like an authentic, not-chain coffee shop. Would much prefer to go here vs Starbucks or Dunkin if given the choice. I highly recommend any of the frappuchinos or my current favorite, the Nut and Berry Soy Latte. Worth every penny.

I love this place. I had coffee, latte, milkshake, tea, blender and cookie a la mode. Almost everything haha. This place is perfect if you wanna have a place to study or chill with friends. Good WIFI. Sometimes, they hold activities for holiday or college stuffs.

Blenders are life. I have been getting them since 2007. I moved a state away for college and used to crave them. Get it with better pecan ice cream. If you like coffee & ice cream youll be amazed at how they taste together.They also have some bomb cookies and great fresh ground coffee

Blackbird Coffee is a wonderful local coffee shop. The coffee is of the highest quality and the staff is so nice, warm, and welcoming. My favorite faces to see when I walk in are Tiffany, Nicki, and Daniel. They always go out of their way to make me feel at home.

Great place to do work and enjoy a beverage. Staff if generally nice. I wish they would use less single use plastics/ more biodegradables and offer coconut milk, but overall its a hip place! The new theater is cool for events and good atmosphere.

Our first visit. I got a decaf Cappuccino and it was very good! My husband had the hot Apple cider which he enjoyed, he said it wasnt spectacular but was good enough. Quiet but doing steady business for 2pm on a Monday. Pleasant experience.

This is a great place to great coffee and study but they have always been kinda pricey. The staff is always nice and it is a great atmosphere but recently they decided to up the price on a variety of items on their menu, one item being their milkshakes. The milkshake that I get is a large which is the same size as a large Chick-fil-a milkshake is 7, 50ish before putting in a tip. It is a shame because I enjoyed going there but with the increase in prices I do not see myself going there anymore.

Guy bellow me is butt hurt about his life and has no idea what hes talking about. Best coffee in town. Yep, they have weaker coffees just like they have bolder brews. They always have two brewed at any time. Ask and theyll give you the bolder and darker one. Me and any of the regulars can tell you the exact opposite of him.Love this place and will continue to give them my business. He got part of his review right. The 0, but he was missing a 1.10 stars. Nice atmosphere. Great wait staff. The coffee was above average. We only had snacks, but would love to try the sandwiches; next time. The cookie was exceptional! The ratio of chocolate to cookie was huge! There were multiple types of chocolate chips and chunks. The cookie itself had to be 6 inches in diameter.

I come here during the school year probably five times a week. The coffee and food is fantastic, the baristas are very friendly and conversational, and the atmosphere is wonderful. Its safe to say that this is my favorite place for coffee of all time.

The coffee is good. But when u get a latte, or steamed milk beverage. Just know your getting 3 to 4 inches of foam. So larges, and mediums are smalls.

All of the staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is great. The coffee is, hands down, the best you can get in Milledgeville. They roast and grind their own coffee, and it really shows in the quality of every cup, from cold brew to lattes to a cup of black coffee.

Blackbird has anything someone could want or need in a local coffee shop. Good coffee. Friendly employees. Reliable wifi. Amazing atmosphere accompanied by cool events, art, your friends, etc... Theres no better place to meet up in all of Milly. One of the best things about Blackbird is its comfortable seating/environment. Its a cozy place to hang out or work. If you are a frequent customer and occasionally come without making a purchase, you never feel as though the employees are upset with you. Some constructive criticism: Dont add any more hard metal seating without backrests. (Its a nonsense modern coffee shop trend which tells me a customer you do not want me to stay very long). At least occasionally offer some top notch single origin ethiopian pour over, or something incredibly nice to get us true coffee snobs to BRAG about you guys. Your coffee is really good. Its just not the best. Thank you guys for rocking overall.

Blackbird Coffee is one of the best coffee shops in the area. The staff is always friendly and the coffee is superb. Prices are mostly fair, though they do not accept credit cards for purchases below $5. They recently started serving craft beer and wine, too! I dont live in Milledgeville anymore, but I stop by Blackbird every time Im in the area. Cant be beat!

Soooo...this is my hometown fave! I dont live in Millytown anymore but I never miss a chance to stop by for some fabulous flavor at this coffeehouse! The baristas are fantastic and make quick work of any order. They have many coffeehouse faves to choose from as well as some originals that are defo worth trying! If you are ever in Milledgeville take it from a local that this is one stop you should make!

I travel a lot for work and was very excited to visit this local coffee shop in this cute college town. The reasons Im only giving 3 stars is mainly because of the customer service. The girl I had at the counter this morning was not at all very friendly or informative. I asked what she recommended as Id never been there before and the only response I got was what do I normally get at a coffee shop. She didnt recommend anything. Just said this has milk in it and this doesnt. The coffee I ordered itself was okay, it was like anything I could have ordered at any other coffee shop. Not at all what I was looking for...needless to say this place was a one hit wonder for me.

Good service with a friendly demeanor combined with a tasty local roasted coffee makes this coffee shop top notch. The honest truth is while the food is not bad and not the worst price the focus is on the coffee as it should be. The coffee from what I can tell is not a steal or flash level price but a price that reflects a fair value if you consider how over priced lesser coffee is by comparison. The coffee is roasted local so provided you like the types they have in which varies you get a solid experience fairly priced but with a lovely coffee that is as fresh as most people can get short of growing it themselves.
