Oh I really liked this place! GREAT selection of stones that are very reasonably priced, plus lots of herbs, candles, jewelry and supplies for many different tastes (and disciplines).I picked up some really nice rubies and scapolite for jewelry-making, as well as some anointing oils and herbs. And they gave me a raffle entry for the chance to win a store gift card, too!Very nice staff and atmosphere. Looking forward to shopping there again!

They always have what I am looking for, from crystals to drums, to oils to readings, it is where I always go for these types of needs.When the grandchildren come with they always get a little trinket for free and are amazed at the things they see. I am always finding something new and interesting.I have never had problems with parking. The workers and readers are always friendly and helpful as are the other customers.Call head for a reading. You wont regret going here.

Appreciated being hovered and watched the entire time I was in the shop and never once being asked if I need help finding something. Don’t worry I found what I was looking for and reluctantly gave you my money for a last minute gift. Never again though.

Altered State of Mind has become a pinnacle of support for Local Artists, Seekers, Healers, Empaths, Black Sheep, Social Outcasts and the Outspoken. The staff are all very polite and knowledgeable. The store is always beautiful and radiating with warm colors, deep healing smells and flawless decoration. I love spending time ogling over all the crystals and various statues, incense and tarot decks. A truly one stop shop for all your metaphysical needs.

The neighborhood that this establishment is in is toxic and i had the feeling when i got off the bus and walk down the street. It was only when i walked in the store the weight was lifted but because of that i will not be back in the area

They steal from the local artist/practitioners they partner with. Theyre overwhelming under informed on the practices and materials theyre selling. Most of their items are catholic or lucifarian, shadiest magic shop in the city

My first time in was fantastic! I found what I was looking for and the kind employees were so helpful! They all wore masks and social distanced. Now, the patrons on the other hand... Walked in to this shop looking for a specific incense but they didn’t have it. No big deal, I enjoy going to different shops and exploring, looking for this incense gives me an excuse. For some reason I could not relax and was just extremely nervous when talking to the owner. The conversation was very forced sounding. I booked a tarot reading and immediately felt relaxed with the reader. The reading was going fine when towards the end the door was loudly knocked on by the owner saying that there was someone waiting for their appointment to start and she is pressed for time. The mood immediately went to rushed and not relaxed and we ended the session a couple minutes early. We walked out and we were both being stared at (by owner and the new client) the reader explained to the owner that she had to cleanse the room in between the last reading to get rid of any lingering energy.

I absolutely adore this store! The energy when you go inside is absolutely light and positive, the materials and crystals in everything that they provide are very well-made! Not to mention the staff there always so nice in kind and able to help anyone with any questions they have, handing out complimentary teas, having a spiritual events and also tarot and astrological readings. Rae Nightcat Is one of my favourite tarot card readers she is very intuitive and is very calm in telling you your fortunes. The crystals a provider absolutely beautiful gemstones That are either raw cut or polished. They also have large beautiful open geodes like the amethysts and tangerine quartz. If I ever had the chance to ever work there I would 1000% take it.

This store in incredible and all inclusive. Very friendly and helpful staff are committed to helping you find what youre looking for. The young man that helped me listened as I explained my vision for decorating and helped me pick items to tie it all together. He was just as excited for it as I was and Im posting the pictures of the finished result. Just prices and the have everything you need for various beliefs and practices.

Found many items terrific items here both for myself and as presents. I have purchased ritual candles, stone and crystals, incense, CBD bath bombs and local art. I have recommended this store to many people due to their selection and the welcoming attitude from staff.

This business makes me uncomfortable to be around, it just has a lot of negative vibes and/or entities surrounding it. I have heard a lot of negative comments from numerous people. Some okay comments, not many though. When I visited one of the employees who is a reader, they couldnt properly tell me the difference between Tarot, Thoth and Oracle cards. Definitely made me hesitant to ever want to return. Where did the coffin nails come from? I couldnt get an answer. The left wall upon entering and the back gave me a grotesque feeling. I advise please put your microwave and refrigerator in a breakroom, it is very unsightly for guests. I am sure it is for employees as well.This store is not involved in the pagan community, which is upsetting as well.

I wouldn’t recommend much of this place for getting a reading, especially if you’re experienced and looking for an in depth one. The tarot reading was very bland and she had her Apple Watch and phone going off throughout the entire thing, the reader just seemed very unexperienced yet they still charged a dollar a minute

I went to pick up some chakra crystals and just check the place out. They have a beautiful collection and nice cards that tell you what each item can be used for. This has quickly become my favorite shop in the city, and it really fills the void left by the closure of the House of Magick. Their selection of crystals is fantastic and their prices are very fair. They have a large amount of tarot decks and reading material, as well as lots of odds and ends that you will definitely be interested in if youre drawn to this kind of stuff. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, genuine, and friendly. I am sending this place love and light as we all weather the effects pf this pandemic.

As someone starting out a brand new spiritual journey down the path of Wicca and witchcraft, this little shop has been a place of comfort during most of my spiritual turmoil. The owners are always super welcoming and friendly and helpful and it really makes me feel better about my life choices when I know theres such a loving, supportive community within walking distance from my home. Its also my go-to spot for supplies and various books.

This is a very new, kind of cute little addition to the unusual genre of metaphysical supply. Theres a few bits of religious iconography and paintings, but its most noteworthy items are a lot of sage / incense to burn, wide variety of stones (including some expensive but impressive centerpiece-size items), oils, and some nice little jewelry pieces. Perfect to pick up a strange gift for your strangest friend, or when you need to chase a ghost out of your new place.

This shop has had many problems in the community for posting racial slurs and negative comments on social media. The owners are extremely un-knowledgeable for the amount they charge for classes. You can find more in depth classes elsewhere for less. Their crystals are very pricey compared to other metaphysical stores in the area ($3.50 for a tiny tumbled stone). The shop has an overall negative energy which you can feel on everything. You really have to cleanse anything you get from there. Overall, I do not support their behavior and wont buy anything from here. There are far better and more ethical places to get your metaphysical needs from. Not slander, my two cents as a former customer who shopped here.

While this shoppe boasts a Pagan Aesthetic, it was really surprising to hear from the mouths of the Owners that they dont plan on actually supporting the Pagan Community. I found that to almost be a slap in the face after commenting on how many Pagan items they actually have in their store and how excited I was to find a new shoppe. Definitely wont be returning.
