Not very good to employees. Fired me for looking for other employment. Lots of great guys working there toward whom I have no hard feelings, but I dont think its right to fire someone for looking to move on. Employees are humans that have bills to pay and mouths to feed. To Michael Kittelson, who I assume is the one that has to read these reviews and respond, youre a good guy, and I wish you the best.
Highly recommend this dealership, everyone is so nice and caring! My sales man Mark Mahoney was the best! I was so grateful for him and the extra effort he put in to make sure i got the best deal/car that worked for my budget! He worked with me for weeks to make sure i got the car i loved. He was easy to talk to, honest-no bs, caring, and funny!
Great dealership. I have gotten 3 vehicles here and have loved them all. We worked with Antonio and Corey and both were so helpful and we are really pleased with both of these guys. I also get service done here and they do a great job for my routine maintenance.
I had a negative review on here and the General Manager contacted me and was very sincere in wanting to make my negative situation better. I was able to fully explain to him the issues I had with the service department over the last few months and I felt very heard and he shared my frustrations. Im changing my review on here as I do feel like theyve made the situation right. They are using my situation as an opportunity to further train their staff and that is really all that I wanted, this to not happen to someone else. I appreciate the GM reaching out, listening and doing what he could to make it right.

They made purchasing my Subaru a breeze. They were informative and knew the cautions that were relative to our needs as customers and they didnt try to oversell us at all and we left feeling comfortable with our purchase with no buyers remorse which just doesnt happen when buying a car. They were so patient with our decision process and disnt waste anyones time either. Being that we bought a newer subaru we shouldnt be back soon for another purchase for some time. Although i highly recomend this dealership for anyone in the market. At least stop by and check them out during your next vehicle purchase. I blew a tire, my car didn’t have a jack, I came in, and they put my donut tire on for me. I wish they had a tire I could have purchased but I have a Toyota so I understand why.They helped me out, no charge to me. I’m a Toyota person. I really wish Schlossmann had a Toyota City. I’ll do all the business here that I can going forward though.
Subaru city has just reopened after Covid19 shutdown. The sales area is still under construction. But, the service area has completely changed. The waiting area is at least 4 times larger & divided into areas. Seats are spaced at least 6 feet apart. Two of the areas have TVs on the wall. There is a small room for children to play or color.For now, no beverages, cookies, newspapers, or magazines. Maybe later if it can be offered safely.The service is always great - whether you are purchasing a vehicle or bringing one in for service. Staff is friendly and courteous.

I had a great car buying experience at Subaru City today. I was able to get the car I wanted for the right price and it was the smoothest, easiest process Ive had buying a car to date.Ive used Schlossmann Subaru City for service in the past, and was pleased with the process on that side. It appears these guys are well in tune with the customer throughout the building.Finally, its clear they have put a lot into providing a safe store environment through the pandemic.

I absolutely loved my sales women Jo! Shes was so personable, friendly, honest, funny, and knowledgeable. She not only went over all the features of the vehicle, she also lifted up the hood and talked a little bit about some of the mechanical components of a Subaru that sets their cars apart from others and that just blew me away! But best of all she wasnt pushy at all. I felt like I was talking to a family friend! My boyfriend and I had been to two other dealerships that day and the first two were too pushy and kind of in our face while my boyfriend didnt mind it made me super uncomfortable 😐. Then on a whim I decided to try Subaru and im so beyond glad I did!! I had never considered a Subaru before that day, but I can honestly say I will be purchasing a Subaru and not another vehicle now. Best sales person ever, best safety features! And on top of all these other positive things Jo just went so far above and beyond what she needed to. We ended up leaving around I believe 5:45 pm on a Saturday when they closed at 5pm. But I left armed with all the information and numbers I needed to make my final decision. Jo was also very patient and understanding of my needs and what features were most important to me with a price that I was good with. She was not upset and didnt seem agitated when I told her I had a savings goal in mind and wanted to come back and purchase a vehicle towards the end of the year. She was kind and basically just said I completely understand and look forward to seeing you back towards the end of the year. Also if your an animal lover you will love working with Jo. We exchanged stories and shared pictures of our fur babies! It was over all and excellent experience and I look forward to the end of the year when Im able to go back and visit Jo and purchase my Subaru! Thank you for all the help and patience you gave us Jo! Amazing customer service, I never got to meet Megan yesterday. But she checked in on us even though we were late to our appointment due to the weather over the phone. Eric Meeker was also amazing in helping us getting the information we needed, and helping us close a deal on my car in record time. Also a nice lady with a cool keyboard who provided me with the name of it to upgrade my office space. OVERALL GREAT EXPERIENCE. Definitely recommend 🤗

Take my car for reprogram the transmission valve body only. When I when to pick up the car my pedal break goes all the way down so they says the breaks line it’s leaking fluid. When I drop off the car I was perfect fine so I don’t understand how they get messed up.

He displayed a wealth of knowledge about each car and I felt completely comfortable that I was making the most well-informed choice with Anthony as the expert. I have poor credit and my husband has no credit, yet we needed to get a car. After having been denied from four other dealerships, we were pleasantly surprised when we received a call from Mr. Pryor saying that we had been approved for a vehicle. We thought that we were approved for a used car; however, we were actually approved for a 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage ES. The next call we received was from Sarah - who turned out to be our new car sales representative. She was AMAZING. She made herself available, even at night. They allowed us to do everything by email. When we arrived at the dealership, everyone was so pleasant and helpful. Two days after we purchased our car we received a call from the new car sales manager; three days after our purchase, we received a call from Sarah - they both wanted to know how things were going with the car and told us if we have any further questions feel free to stop by and they would be happy to assist. They were honest and upfront about all of costs associated with purchasing the car.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU GIVING THEM A TRY.

The first time I went here they tried to upcharge me for a whole bunch of unnecessary maintenance. The second time I came here (yesterday) I scheduled an 8:30 appointment, was treated rudely by the service representative and then found out my vehicle had not even been added to the cue when I checked in on the progress of my service at 11:15.I will not be returning to this dealership and I will not be recommending it to anyone either.
Very good experience there! No high pressure while we were looking for a new vehicle. Wanted to take a Forester 2021 for a test drive. Advised the Salesmen Bryan that we still needed to look at a different vehicle at a different Car dealership. They were very professional about that with us. I purchased my new WRX here and would think I would be treated fairly. The workers were rude and gave attitude, I felt like my best interests were not in mind. My car stayed in the shop for 2 days to get a common part replaced. When I picked up my car I paid over $500 in services and my car was not washed. I would recommend searching for other dealers, this one being your last resort.
Couldnt be more pleased with my first Subaru buying experience! Cat was the most perfect salesperson Ive ever had and I worked her pretty hard to find my forever car. The manager, Fiz and financial rep did an excellent job moving the process along to the point where I was done with the test driving, financing, and driving home all within 2 hours. I walked into 5 dealerships in the Milwaukee area right before New Years Day. I received horrible customer service at these places, until I walked into Subaru City. Nick Volkman and sales manager Jeremy Stilb exceeded my expectations from start to finish. They both were extremely personable, knowledgeable and gave me options that I loved. Ended up finding the perfect Subaru. If you’re thinking Subaru in the Milwaukee area, don’t waste your time going anywhere else. I am 100% satisfied with the experience I had, I won’t be giving my business to anyone else for years to come.
I can honestly say without a doubt, that my new wife and myself had the single greatest car buying experience of either of our lives, and it was all thanks to two people. Anna (our sales person) and Shawn( our financial guru). From the very beginning Anna was friendly, fun, and very personable. She was unbelievably helpful answering questions(and if she didnt have the answers looking into them and getting us answers)and super thoughtful(making us key tags that read just married). I could go on and on, but I could not possibly say enough good things about her; but I will tell everyone I know that is looking for a car to see her. And shawn was able to help us get the best possible deal on our car, and did so in a way that was not pushy or aggressive( we have had issues with other dealerships pushing unnecessary extra costs). He made sure to talk time and explain everything to us in a way that we understood he was enthusiastic and truly seemed to enjoy helping people find the right fit not just forcing them into a deal to make money. Even though we are going to leave the state, I think we would still be willing to come back to this dealership; just to buy our next car, as long as they still have people like this working there.
Took car in for a recall software update. Check in was smooth, but thats where it stopped. I sat for two hours waiting on what was to have been a forty minute software update. Slow internet, they told me. Finally left with car, and became aware that my audio in my car no longer worked, nor did the icons for radio or media on my CCM, nor did the audio for blue tooth phone in the car. After rebooting and reinstalling phone, soft rebooting screen, letting car sit overnight in hopes computer would reboot--nothing different today. The invoice says I got new software update 380, but my system information says I still have the old update 502. Waiting for their response. Wonder what they did, if anything. Update on 3/18/21. Car at another Subaru service department, who confirmed the new update was never completed at Subaru City. Left car at second service department for installation update, and audio issues. Second service department completed software upgrade same day, lent me a car for the day, and now the CCM and audio in my car work as predicted. Settings/System Information confirms update 380 installed. Service manager from Subaru City has contacted me (so they read their reviews), but I am not taking my car back to Subaru City. What disappoints me the most is that they would send me out with an invoice indicating repair completed. Either no one checked, or no one owned up, but no one did the work. That is a serious breach of trust for a merchant and a show stopper, I think.
Excellent buying experience. Their salesman had a very strong knowledge of the Forester and the other Subaru cars. That was very important to us as we wanted to compare the Subaru to other cars we were considering. Hands down the Forester was exactly what we were looking for and the salesman walking us through all of the features is what sold us. We ended up leasing two Foresters which fit out needs perfectly.
I come in today, and as I was looking around the lot there was a guy named Sean Broihier in sales and he was super positive and he would listen for what I am looking for and guide me the right direction. Also if I had any questions about the car he would gladly answer with such positive energy. I HIGHLY recommend him if you are looking for someone that is willing to listen and help you out while having a smile on his face!! TWO thumbs up from me!!
We just bought a 2020 Forester from Subaru City. Everyone there was extremely helpful. They answered all my questions and never once did I feel pressured to buy. They genuinely seemed more concerned about the car being a right fit for me than them making a sale. Great people to work with there!
Overall excellent experience. I checked out Subaru city months before I knew Id be needing a new car and several associates were very happy to help and show me and a friend around, and even let us test drive a few cars just out of curiosity even though we were not ready to buy anything yet. When I found out that my car was declared a total loss, I immediately went to Subaru city and asked for Tony. I was there on his day off so Jeff and Bryan took turns helping me out before passing me off to Tony when he was back, and did an excellent job. Everyone was prompt and helpful yet patient as I made a decision (and still did some shopping around). Tony especially provided an exceptional level of service, down to insisting on following me with an umbrella when I took delivery of my used 2014 Mirage in the rain. It was probably not his biggest sale even for that day, but every step of the way he went the extra mile. These are nice guys, never pushy, always happy to see you and ready to help any way they can. Ill certainly be back when I have money saved to buy a Subaru!
I’ve been there for past 5 years since I bought my WRX with them. Always been very very satisfied and very very good experiences with them until latest service on last Saturday! Still very good service BUT my personal experiencing. Cost around one thousand bucks for set of winter tires, oil change and “battery service “ which is fine for me. I’ve been told that recommended for new battery ($180), and I told him change a new battery is better for winter for sure. BUT I found out there is still the same old battery with my wrx after I checked that out next day. Then I called the service manager for more info, he told me that I’ve only got the battery service (just cleaned up the corrosion $135 and $40 for check up ). I told him that I would rather change for new battery than paying so much for just cleaned up. He JUST said sorry for that! I just want to recommend the service department could do a better job for explaining what are the differences in the future. I would still recommend people come here for service, just make sure that you will be more care for reading the paper and listening. AFTER ALL I WOULD NOT COME BACK here for service any more(just my personal experiencing). Thanks for your patience for reading my review.
Subaru City of Milwaukee is a great dealership. It started with my sales rep who helped me find a great used Subaru at a great price. And continues with fantastic service. I was nervous to take my car in for an oil change during the Pandemic, but their waiting room is very large and set up to allow for distancing.
Our battery died two months after buying our used vehicle, which is frustrating. But Amir in service was quick and helpful and took care of calling sales and corporate offices to advocate that we dont have to pay for the new battery... We got the new battery covered at no charge, such excellent customer service!

Got in quickly- they kept us updated while they worked on it- they were generous to give us a good will cost on our seat belts. We always have a wonderful experience. Loved the pick up/ drop off system to get our car down to Subaru City!
If it was possible to give zero stars I would. My car broke down on the highway two days ago and was towed here. I called immediately to inform them of what happened. After several attempts and an hour of waiting on hold I left a message with the receptionist who said she was taking down my information verbatim. I also left a message for the manager of the service department, Sean, explaining exactly what happened. I then received a call stating $90 for a “diagnostic test” and to expect a follow up the next day. I then received said follow up call stating $900 to replace the timing belt with a 50/50 chance the engine might be saved. When I inquired about the diagnostic test Sean said it couldn’t be completed. Meanwhile, no mention of interference engine. I called a few other shops that mentioned at my speed of 55 miles per hour and RPM (5-6) that it was highly unlikely my engine was spared and that the valves would be damaged. I called back and they said that they didn’t know anything about the speed or any information about the car other than that the engine had died. With this “new” information I was advised not to get the work done by the head mechanic. This is frustrating to me as I left that information with two people: receptionist and manager of service department, Sean. I then get a call back from Sean verifying that I don’t want the work done and stating that he’ll wrap up my charges for the diagnostic test? What?! I was told this couldn’t be completed? This place is the epitome of shady and the reason I will never bring my car to a dealership again. Absolutely terrible, sneaky service from every, single employee.
I drive a 2003 Impreza WRX, and I do all my own maintenance. I am extremely impressed with the availability on parts for such an old vehicle. Shout out to Lucian in the parts department for always helping me out!

These guys are everything you hope to have in a car dealer. They are very honest, dont try to swindle you with extra fluff thrown in your sale price or finance contract. If you are in the market for a car, give them a shot.

I do not usually leave reviews.I have never had a worse experience for spending as much money in my life.Buying my Subaru was a relatively smooth process and the salesman Brian was courteous, knowledgeable, and wrapped up the sale quickly.My first service a nightmare. I took the car in and told them I would wait as the dealer is 20 minutes from my home. The expected wait time set by the service department was one hour.After a 2 and a half hour wait time, my car was returned to me and 5 dollars was taken off the price due to the delay. No big deal.Upon arrival home, I noticed an oil stain on the inside upper driver door and driver handle. Subaru City offered to and completed a no charge detailing that took another half day of my time. Regardless, I now have a water/oil spot on my brand new vehicle where they stained the upholstery. They probably didn’t even clean the roof upholstery.Again, I guess they tried to rectify the situation and stained a vehicle I am spending my hard earned money on through no fault of my own. I would give them 3 stars overall if that was where this ended.Part three, I now have oil leaking from my car and am waiting on a call from the service department on how/if they will fix the “service” they did and how much of my time this will take up.Unbelievable. I would give them zero stars if I could.Update: Schlossman fixed the stain after a second washing and the oil problem. They dropped a loaner off and took a day to fix it. There were still delays and long phone holds but it is done. 3/5 stars for owning and fixing the problem.
When you first enter Subaru City you are greeted by a very friendly sales representative. They are all fantastic and demonstrate a real concern for the customer’s satisfaction. My sales associate was Fiz and he fully explained all of details of the Subaru Forester. I just love my 2020 Forester it is so much fun to drive, and the comfort level is fantastic. All of the associates I dealt with demonstrated outstanding customer service.

Had a low preasure light come on. Subaru City checked all four tires and adjusted the preasure accordingly. They also Installed a software upgrade at at no charge. Like the Outback Subaru City is worth it.

They did a great job with my car. In general your customer service is great. My only complaint would be nobody reviewed with me the recommendations as it said on the checkout to discuss my tires.
Had my 60000 mile maintenance was supposed to take 5-6 hour. They asked if it was ok if they keptU car over night but I had to work at 5 am so I needed the car. They had more techs work on it to it only took 3 hours. Amazing
We recently purchased a Forester Touring model and are happy we made the change. Our very nice vehicle arrived at the time promised and was spotless. We received two hours of “car training” which was much appreciated and we know we will take them up on the offer for further instruction. There is a high learning curve and this dealership respects that. The car features are wonderful. The paper signing/ payment phase was very smooth, professional, and painless. Our entire experience was quite positive.
I didnt really need a vehicle. Out of curiosity I checked out the online specials. Aaron Hammel ( internet sales) was mind blowingly honest and I was sold before being sold. He basically set up everything via text and phone the sent me to Cat. She was patient and super knowledgeable. I now have the 2020 legacy of my dreams. A real life changer for a guy like me. Go nowhere else but Suburu City. If doing online call and ask for Aaron to reach out or make an appointment with Cat. You definitely wont be disappointed.

We started our process into buying a new car approximately 5 months ago. Our son is in the Airforce in Minot North Dakota so there are few things that we wanted on his first new car. Gas mileage, AWD/4WD, price, great warranty, and dependability were the key points that had to be met. I also have zero patience for salesman that are just after a quick sale or are pushy. This usually ends things quickly. I called Schlossmans and ended up speaking with Cat. She was straight forward, knowledgeable and actually followed thru with every thing we asked. Her manager Jeremy was also excellent to speak with as well. Due to covid we ended up ordering a 2021 Crosstrek because we wanted a manual and they were not plentiful at the time. Schlossmans pricing coupled with their commitment to military families just sealed the deal. It was not a normal car purchase due to our son being out of state but they stayed with it and made it a success. I HIGHLY recommend them.
After 6 hours of keeping our salesman Tony hostage, I drove my used Suburu off the lot. Such a pleasant car buying experience. Go visit our new friend Tony and our old pal Dan. Everyone we encountered was so pleasant and had a great sense of humor. No pressure sales and I love my new Outback.

After weeks and months of researching vehicles I decided to take the plunge and lease a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek (manual transmission of course). Manny in sales was great from beginning to end. HOWEVER, we have been struggling to get some issues resolved with the registration. MULTIPLE times I have contacted the finance manager, the DMV as well as the Subaru Finance Institution as well as Subaru Corporate themselves. This has been ongoing since the first day the lease was signed. The issues we have are time sensitive and I personally have been doing ALOT of the leg work to get this resolved. It is only when I put pressure and hound the finance to get the necessary papers to the DMV has it been done and yet more paperwork is needed. I am at the point where I am just going to drop the vehicle off and hand back the keys. I was informed by the DMV after several hours in the span of these past 2 days we are better off going into the DMV and registering the vehicle all over again. Which would in turn would cost for tax, title and licensing all over again out of our pocket. We did mention SEVERAL times during the process this would become an issue and were told it was marital property and it would be ok. We insisted it would not be ok and I hate to say it but we were right. Manny and the team working the floor get 5 stars HOWEVER the process as a whole is causing unneeded stress. Now I am willing to return a GREAT vehicle and take a hit financially to avoid any further repercussions caused by a mistake that could have been rectified within seconds on day one. SOMETIMES not always, the customer knows what needs to be done and should be listened too.Edit* This has been ongoing since February 7th 2019. It is a great car and Manny is AWESOME SAUCE!

I have worked with many different owners and dealerships but this is by far the best! How many owners of a business come out with their snow pants and a snow broom to help with the Lot duty after a snowstorm? I can tell you only one and Thats Mike.He believes in the product he is selling and is very honest and kind.I worked for Mike for five years and felt valued and was always given encouragement and praise for a job well done.I also bought a Subaru from this dealership that I absolutely love! The all-wheel drive system is truly unique and must be experienced to understand what I mean. Go check it out you wont be disappointed. The staff are very professional and honest and will take great care of you and your car needs for as long as you remain a customer.The service department and body shop are also stellar! One stop shop! Did I forget the parts department? So sorry also wonderful!I had to leave for personal reasons but I miss it all the time. ****Update****Came back in April of 2020The first used Subaru I purchased broke down on me. And our favorite sales person Antonio got to work as soon as I informed him of the situation. He asked the right question about what I was looking for in a vehicle and we went over the option. Just like that I had the keys in my hand and drove my new car home. The sales team is on point! They are honestly the bestThe only reason I give them a 3 star review is because of the service department. Never have I met a department that seems so badly ran. I took my new car in for service in June for a recall on the vehicle, told me the service takes 2 1/2 hours. I had the car dropped off around 12 and I didnt get it back until 6! Mind you I had an appointment for 12:15pm Called multiple times and no call back. Finally The manager of the service department called me back only after I left him a message with the receptionist and he told me that the only reason they hadnt called me back to pick up my car was because they could not read the technicians handwriting, but everything is electronic, they had the VIN number of the vehicle they couldve looked it up in their system and found my number. I had been calling for hours and they didnt answer my calls even after being on hold multiple times and leaving a message. When the manager gave me that excuse I just said okay and went to pick up my car. I will always come to buy a vehicle from this place but I always try to avoid coming here and getting service done unless I have to, due to the simple fact that I dont like how the service department is ran. I really hope higher management takes a look at these reviews because seems there is more than a couple complaining about the service department and gets it figured out before they lose loyal customers****Update****Came back in December of 2018 to purchase a new vehicle, my moms mini van was declared totaled and we only had a few days to find a reliable vehicle to replace it. Without a doubt we knew were we needed to go. Even though it wasnt a Subaru, we found a really good reliable vehicle at an amazing price. Antonio our salesperson is honestly very good and finding a car that meets your needs and wants. Once again when we are ready to purchase a new vehicle we know where we need to go.****Original****05/2016Im glad I came to this dealership to purchase my very first Subaru!
