We are so happy that we chose to work with Welkes for our flowers. Nikki helped us figure out exactly what we wanted while respecting budgetary limitations. The flowers looked absolutely beautiful and made everything look perfect on our wedding day. Nikki was so flexible and helpful; for example, she picked up shepherds hooks for us from Lowes and incorporated my late grandmothers pin onto my bouquet. Not to mention that she even drove out to Kohls to buy a tie when one of the groomsman couldnt find his!! We recommend them 100%!!

Had to order flowers for a funeral of a friends mom in Georgia. My friend called to thank me for the arraignment stating she had them as a center piece on her table and loved them.I was helped to choose the arraignment and told they could be taken home by my friend and as stated they were. LolThe price was good too. Ill use Welkes every time

I was disappointed with the bouquet of flowers my friend had been delivered today for her birthday. The size of the product she got was nothing close to the size I chose. 3 variant sizes are pictured and posted for the selection process. I chose, premium. The picture of the delivered product looks like a Standard size. Another disappointed was the color. Understanding a florist can only work with whats available, it was the bright pink color in the bow and roses that caught my eye in the first place.Food for thought, when I decide to send flowers to a friend, CO worker, mom dad, etc. I pick what matches what I want to say, with my personality as well as the relationship between me and the receiver. The brighter pink makes a louder statement than faded light pink roses that barely separated the 2 flowers in the bouquet. Its called a Polka Dots and Posies bouquet, there should be visible Polka Dots.

I have used Welkes twice in the past and each time they were terrific. The arrangements were beautiful but beyond the flowers the customer service was outstanding. Big thank you to the staff for making my purchase so easy.. I will be back again.

I placed an order online. I received multiple calls confirming the delivery of the funeral arrangement I ordered. Only to received a call less then an hour before the service starts to tell me I could pick up my order myself and deliver it myself, but they could not deliver it to that area Absolutely absurd. The manager Nicki was truly condescending and rude, with her explanation. I suggest if you are looking to purchase flowers for delivery for a special event, look elsewhere. How can a company cancel an order right before the funeral service starts, putting your trust in a company that they will deliver the goods on your behalf is extremely important. Thank goodness, I contacted Guzzardos of Milwaukee, and the young lady there put something together for me immediately and delivered it within the hour. I will never use Welkes flowers again.

I had an arrangement delivered for Mothers day and it was not the quality I had received in past arrangements from Welke. I got a phone call from their customer service rep and she had a replacement arrangement sent out the following morning. Its beautiful. Thanks for the quality and great customer service.

Welkes of Milwaukee is my go to florist for holidays and birthdays. Personally I dont know squat about flowers, but my mom is an avid gardener and always mentions how great the flower variety is in the bouquets I send her. What I will say is that before I settled on them I checked some of their competitors and it seems to me like Welkes has more unique, less generic arrangements. Remember to order well in advance of major holidays like mothers day if you need delivery since slots fill up fast and, if you can afford it I also recommend splurging on the bigger premium versions of bouquets to really deliver that wow factor.

The fish and shells made for a fun arrangement, something I had not seen when looking at other shops! the flowers look fresh and it was well liked by the recipient. welkes gave great email updates on the status of the order and a confirmation when delivered.

I received flowers today from Welkes from my parents in SC. I had high expectations from Welkes but they did not deliver on those expectations today. The arrangement was not professional looking, from the general appearance of the flower placement to junk floating around in the water in the clear vase. It doesnt even seem like they used a sharp knife to cut the stems. One last complaint. The card read to Christian and Paul however, we are Kristen and Paul - a rookie mistake in this sort of service industry.

I have used Welkes several times before and was usually pleased so much so after countless orders I created an account to use them for all my floral needs in the area. However this past experience was not great. I ordered flowers for my great-grandmothers funeral as I live out of state and could not attend the homecoming service with my family due to the pandemic, however the flowers never arrived and in fact were scheduled to be delivered the day after the funeral. Not sure who dropped the ball the funeral home is adamant that the blame rest on Welkes and Welkes is adamant that they received the wrong information from the funeral home. Either way it was a very disappointing experience during a time of sorrow. Having to go back and forth with the florist and funeral home who both made it apparent that they were busy and didnt have time to figure out who the source of the misinformation was so this wouldnt happen to someone else, left me feeling disregarded. I was told I would receive a refund and one of the sales/florist I spoke to did seem sincerely apologetic but overall I felt dismissed and sometimes money doesnt fix that.

Always do a great job on my flower arrangements. Unfortunately they we only doing online orders because of the Corona virus and I wanted to order in person so I went somewhere else. The arrangement was nice but I know it would have been better if they had done it.

I was so pleased to use Welkes Milwaukee Florist for the funeral flowers I needed. The arrangement of green plants and fresh flowers could not have been nicer. I spoke with a young lady who helped me decide on the arrangement. The funeral home had an 800 number for a florist but I was glad I chose a local florist. Delivery was on-time. Just great to talk to a person who actually works in the shop.

Needed an arrangement of flowers for a funeral. This is the first time buying flowers and not being there in person. Ordered online and it was a breeze. I had to have the flowers delivered to the funeral home by 1PM and they delivered them early. Went with this store cause it had the most positive reviews and I wasnt disappointed. Very disappointed, I did order with short notice for my God mothers service however for the price I paid I would have expected the order correct. I specify asked for a script on the flowers to read God mother...arrived at the funeral and it was just flowers in a vase, looks like left over scrap greens with a few flowers thrown in, the worst part is it was to late to correct it after the service. Very disappointed! Actually embarrassed to have my name on those flowers.......Edit to post manager called and offered 1/2 of my money back for error of not having the ribbon on the flowers. I appreciate the attempt to correct the order. In exchange to edit my rating .

There is absolutely no other place to purchase flowers in this city. My mother got flowers from here for years. They did my wedding, my mothers funeral, etc. Still buy the wife flowers to be delivered. Not sure who gave 1 star, but they are most likely not the sharpest tool. Always outstanding service and arrangements. David is awesome.

Extremely unsatisfied by the product I ordered! I ordered flowers for my grandmothers funeral service online through the funeral homes website. Once the flowers arrived THEY LOOKED HORRIBLE!! I ordered the premium package for the flowers, the arrangement I received looked patchy and lacking of flowers. I have pictures of both arrangements and the one I received is a poor representation of the one I ordered. I understand its the florist right to substitute flowers if needed but atleast make it look comparable. The order was placed on Friday for a service on Monday, no excuse for the lack of quality. I will be writing reviews on every website about my purchase in hopes of saving someone else the disappointment. I ordered the enchanted Cottage.Update: I changed my rating from 1 to a 4 star, for my direct contact with the florist. Despite the poor quality of the arrangement, for customer service I would rate the florist a 5 star .The florist contacted me immediately after I posted this review and expressed her sincere apologizes. She explained the arrangement I had ordered had been removed from their website due to the inability to make it look the same but unfortunately the funeral homes website it was still available for purchase. She expressed the willingness to make it right. She was very respectful and polite. In the future I will order directly through the florist not the website.

I placed an online order Saturday evening for a Sunday delivery as it was an available delivery option online and it never showed. I received a voice message Monday morning from Welkes satating that they received my order but were not able to complete the Sunday delivery as requested but instead would process now and deliver that same day Monday. I followed up on the voice message that Monday afternoon roughly noon time as I did not receive the flowers. They first stated that its getting late in the day and the driver wouldnt be able to deliver until Tuesday. I asked them to cancel and credit the order if they cant deliver Monday. Their response was that they would send it out that Monday evening and send me an email confirmation when delivered. Its now Tuesday and no flowers. This was my full experience up until Tuesday morning. Hope you find this post helpful.

I was routed to this florist and I called on the day after I placed my order to see if they could give me a round about time regarding the delivery and I am told ... No we cannot!!! On top of that, my husband left the labeling on the plastic!!!!!

I ordered some roses first thing when they opened and got my flowers delivered that same morning. I was skeptical at first but theyve really showed me that they will go the extra mile. I had ordered some flowers the week before from another florist and it was delivered by this florist anyway so I just cut out the middle man. Initially, I did think their prices were higher than normal but this is one of those you get what you pay for situations and I certainly got my moneys worth.
