I had an old Trek that needed different tires and some other updates. I stopped by for a couple hours and the staff helped me find what I needed. They helped me do the work myself, and provided tools and instruction. I saved money, met new people, and learned a lot.

When Vulture Space opened up years ago we came here and loved it. Had some lessons on trueing wheels, donated a bunch of bikes and parts. Good people. That was years ago but we went there today 6/13/20 at5:45ish and the bike we were looking at was a Cannondale Quick 6 Short bike. Vulture Space wanted $540 for it. Cannondale has it new for $480. Vulture Space simply said go buy it from Cannondale then. No budging on price for a donated bike. There is no loss only gain. In fact the guy said they are low on bikes so they probably are going to raise prices. The bike was for my son and I guess he will have to wait. For local non profit Ill stick to DreamBikes.

Everyone there was super nice and helpful! I needed a bike and I was able to purchase a very nice one for a very reasonable price under $200. The work done on it was very well done, and they even checked it over and tweaked it a bit before handing it over to me. Highly recommend going to this place if you need a bicycle because you will be sure to find one that suits you, they have so many!

Very affordable, extremely friendly, and more than competent at their jobs. My bike left feeling stronger than ever, and they did a quick job of it too, just for fixing the back tire after a deflating. A terrific alternative to Eriks Bikes and Boards. These guys are also giving out Bike Benefits stickers that offer some really nice deals, which really help downtowners like me.They even have cute doggies there to boot! Moni is a sweetheart once she gets to know you!

I was building a bike up, cheap as possible. These guys have huge stores of used bike parts for you to look through, and they are looking to help you with any questions! super helpful!to my knowledge these guys are non-profit, and they give back to the community. everyone from volunteers to full time staff is looking to help in any way, the nicest people!the focus of the staff is lacking a little bit, witch I love. when there was a popsicle stand outside, the whole staff dropped everything they were doing and went outside for a popsicle. however they did offer me one, so that made me happy!all in all I would highly recommend.

Really friendly & knowledgeable staff. We had walked by a few times and with my former bike disappearing we were set on making a visit. We got a very reasonably priced mountain bike; I was interested, they let me ty it out and I rode out of the store with no buyers regret. They also have accessories & spare parts (of everything) if anything needs replacing down the line. Which happened to my boyfriend’s bike the same day I got mine, got the part we needed within minutes thanks to the helpful gents working that day. We will be back for all our future cycling needs. Thank you!!

Nice owner, nice place. It was good to see so much action in a small place that was not sterile with carbon bikes hanging on the wall, Very helpful with local directions. I’m heading out to Wales for lunch per their recommendation. Athens, Ohio and Ohio University has a similar co-op. Be safe out on the roads.

Bought our 7 year old daughter her first mountain bike at Vulture Space today. Evan encouraged us to comb the racks. We found a sweet little mongoose that was perfect for her. Just needed a little tune up and some pedals and we were good to go (all tools and parts were provided). Price was incredibly reasonable. Everyone working was super helpful. Couldnt have had a better experience. Feelin lucky and happy. Vulture Space is a magical place.

Well personally I was there on a popsicle day and had a great experience~~ I actually regretted not runnin outside & grabbing a popsicle myself. 🤷🏽‍♀️Anyways, can’t wait to stop in again and learn more about parts and bikes. I donated a bicycle & purchased my new used daily commuter. I know if I ever have a problem, these folks will hook me up & I will learn something new. xoxoxo

Great place. Love taking my bikes here to work on them. Hell they even have a bundle of used parts to scavenge from, and a decent selection of new stuff too. People here are very helpful, and it got a super unique look with lots of art, interesting decorations and exceptional people. They also sell refurbished bikes that are in tip top riding shape, and do rentals. Overall, an excellent hub for downtown cycling.

This is my favorite bike shop! The mostly volunteer staff are there to help you fix your own bike. They have tons of used parts you can get for cheap. There are usually some really good tunes playing. Go there! Fix your own bike and learn something!! Also, Evan, is a really cool guy.

I had a recurring flat tire that I had brought to another shop before. At the other shop they just changed the tube and it occurred again. At Vulture Space someone taught me how to change the tube, found the split in my tire, provided me with inexpensive replacements, and checked my work to make sure it was up to snuff. Very empowering and helpful!! (Though it did take awhile for me to do it lol)

Vulture space rocks! The guys (and girl) working there are fun to talk to, and you can use any tools they have to work on your bike. Ive never seen any bike shop like it. Sometimes I just go there to hang out and chat, since they are quite well read; and they have a sort of living room area, with couches and stuff.

This place is incredible! If I lived in Milwaukee Id never go anywhere else. Such friendly and helpful service, and everything I needed to get my bike ready to race at USA Triathlon Nationals. Very inexpensive necessities like CO2, helmets, tubes, even CR2 batteries for bike computer. I just cant believe the pleasant mechanical help compared to all the overpriced shops that dont care about the welfare of their customers. I wish every town had a bike shop like this!!! Thank you Vulture Space!

I went there today with no expectations, and expected someone to quickly do some magic on my bike. I learned its not magic and it wasnt going to be a quick fix. Im glad its not a quick fix actually, because now I get to go back and learn some more stuff. Also, this girl who works there is brilliant. Im sure all of their voluteers are. I left with more interest in biking and more MKE pride. F yeah.
