We meet Chris years ago while my wife and I were planning the launch of Layman Brewing. 2 yrs after that meeting Chris sought us out to see if we wanted to try proximity malts. Chris is the only sales rep we met to do that. The customer service and thoughtful actions by Chris are great, we look forward to doing further buissnes with proximity malts.

Our brewery has been using Proximity for the last two or three months and I have to say Im nothing but impressed. Impressed with the quality of malt, service, price, etc. If you are looking for a change in malt suppliers, or are starting a brewery, start here.

Where to start. Local malt for your beer making!!! Hours are a little funky for a Homebrewer, but call ahead and its perfect! Thwy have a hand mill there which will take a bit of time, so if you plan on getting a lot of malt, borrow someones mill.The malt is super tasty and the people are great! Plus if you have any questions about how the malt is made or want to see the process just ask. Its like the coolest episodes of Mr. Rodgers when he learns how crayons are made.If you want to taste the malt in action come have a glass of beer at Vennture Brew Co.
