I didnt realize how great quality furniture I was going to find here! I bought a 3-cushion couch in excellent condition for only $55. They also offer a lot of antique items that are fun to browse through. I will definitely stop here for my furniture needs before going to any other thrift store!

One of the smaller Habistores. Definitely a good selection of lighting. They also have a good cheap selection of outlets, switches, in drawer Hardware. If you can stop in frequently, what they have in stock changes often.

Its surprising what they sell!!This is a terrific place to find an assortment of good deals on household furnishings, lighting, doors, doorknobs, ceiling light fixtures, oodles of good stuff, even appliances. U have to check it out. Theyre NOT open on Sundays or Mondays.

Lots of household items, furniture, Cabinetry, miscellaneous. Prices on the high side for used items, but worth it if you find what you need and for a good cause. This weekend August 8th 9 and 10, 2019, all furniture half price. I found an item I was looking for. Satisfied customer.

Check here first. They have a well updated Facebook page announcing new additions. This place gets the best stuff. Things you wont find at home depot or menards 9r will cost you an arm and a leg. They are here and they are cheap. Also its a great organization for a good cause that does a lot of work in Milwaukee.

Its a good place to find preowned furniture but not so much building materials. Those are priced very high at this branch. They are never out of seating options. I visit this place quite often hoping to find great deals Ive managed to pick up 2 beautiful blue arm chairs that were decently priced. But in my search for beds, I havent really been that lucky. They always have great appliances in the back like fairly new washers, dryers, and ACs. I would visit this place if youre looking for those things. Theyre very organized as well. They have a decent parking lot and loading and unloading back area that is very convenient. The people who work here are very nice as well.

This is the place to go if you are a DIY junkie! They have lots of great furniture, some of the pieces are move in ready and some need a little TLC. Thats only a small portion of what they sell, their stock is constantly changing. They have doorknobs, cabinets, sinks, tools, windows, china and last time I was there, they had gallons and gallons of paint. If you are flipping a house, then the Habitat for Humanity Restore is for you, not only to pick up affordable supplies, but also its a place to bring the supplies you didnt need so someone else can.

Great place to find everything from furniture, building materials, appliances, tools and more. Trim, cabinets, marble counter tops ; all this has been donated so it can be reused by you and kept out of the landfills. For pennies on the dollar you can renovate your house or just replace that piece of trim that cracked. Also, they can pick up your left over materials from your renovation, donate your old doors, windows and know that you are making a difference.

I love this place, its great for supplies like paint and tools. However, the cashier my friend and I had was very inappropriate. He asked us if we were together, which is none of his business. He then followed that up with asking if wed like to get together with him and asking where we lived. Not a very comfortable experience, to say the least

I had several large pieces of furniture to donate. The staff were very helpful and assisted me with unloading. They offered me a receipt for my donation (for tax purposes) but I declined. The store seems to be in quite a disarray but, lots of unusual things to see. Parking is easy and the store is easy to find.

I always call this place the furniture place on First since i bought virtually all of my furnishings there when i moved into my latest apartment. Never mind that I have bought very little furniture since that time which is almost three years ago. However i have found some gems with books, plateware, knickknacks, artwork, paint and much much more. Highly recommended!

The inventory is unpredictable but the value is very high on many items. In particular the doors and windows are incredible values though not sorted very well. If you are flexible on sizes, then there are many bargains.

Typically has a great selection of furniture at very low prices (better than other large chain thrift stores). It has a high turnover rate of furniture on Saturdays and I believe no returns, but worth it for a couch that was $20. They have a basket of measuring tapes at the front as well to help out. Also has scrap parts like counters, cabinets, etc.

Review №42

Think of this as Goodwill/Salvation army for house and handyman materials. Everything from lumber to furniture, flooring to fixtures and lots of other stuff like home decor. I compare to the other places because you can donate excess stuff and it will be resold with proceeds benefiting Habitat for Humanity. Those donations are tax deductable. Check out their multiple locations around Milwaukee. I think there are 4-6 spread around.

Va
Review №43

I really like this place for its mission and diversity. I went in to check out their live-edge lumber selection, though, and was shocked...the pricing was some of the highest Ive seen for lumber. I realize thats not their primary focus (or at least assume that as the selection is really limited) but for what they offer I would be hard pressed to find a HIGHER price anywhere else.

I am giving this place a low rating because the place should be closed down and my donated stove was completely wrecked. My family brought a stove and refrigerator. A very careless worker took a regular dolley without assistance. He put the oven on the dolley without securing it and comenced to pushing it down the ramp. The 3rd step down the stove flipped completely off the dolley with a colossal explosion. The worker picked the stove up off the ground and used the dolley to push it into the donation center. I would never recommend purchasing anything from this place.

Reported here a while back about my bad experience after buying 4 refrigerators that were tagged as supposedly tested. One was bad right off, but I didnt find out until I had delivered it a couple of weeks later to a (upper) of a duplex I own. The tenant said the frig wasnt cold. I then tested all of them with one more being bad at that point. They are horrible to deal with after the fact, standing by their (7) day policy. How nice, you take their word that theyre properly tested, but find out that they had accepted junk and just passing the buck, because they just took the word of someone looking to get a write off.Well, guess what, a third one is bad after sitting in storage for 6 mos or so since the purchase. I had used one of them at another place, but now my fingers are crossed. The only way you can get satisfaction from these people would be to take them to court to teach them a lesson I guess.
