If you need a good stylist, I definitely recommend. He is so professional and so friendly. He has the best conversations and just so sweet. He makes sure you leave happy with how your hair is. He is honestly the best person ever!

Warning! They will keep your credit card in their computer system without notifying you/your permission. They will also charge you as they see fit. I made a purchase for some shampoo and hair products and apparently that was enough for them to keep my credit card information on file for future use and charges WITHOUT MY CONSENT. Receptionist is horrible and should be fired! I see I am not the only one that feels this way. Its a pity because I really liked Kami as my stylist. I understand good help is hard to find but I highly recommend a new receptionist as the one that is currently there is rude, argumentative, and unreasonable. Doesnt seem like the way to go in a position that is a purely customer interactive based role. Most companies would try their best to keep clients, whereas this salon seems as though it doesnt mind treating customers who have gone for years like they arent worth the time of day. I guess charging people $200+ dollars a visit for services they do not provide helps pay the bills. Emergencies happen, life happens, pandemics happen, unprecidented circumstances happen and the rules of this salon seem a bit too strict for me. Especially when you try your best to reason with a receptionist who seems to think he is the boss and makes the rules.P.S. Interesting enough in the comment below receptionist states he wasnt arguing or being rude, yet he makes a condescending comment right after 🤔 Case and point?Also, Receptionist - thank you for making it so easy to prove my point with your additional petty response below! 👏 Ladies and gentleman, if your looking for the service and attitude that you see in the comments below from the receptionist, just know it never changes, he is ALWAYS this unprofessional.

Totally found a match made in Heaven for my hair (my entire family actually). Thor is amazing. Ive been looking for someone who can cut my very fine but thick hair. But no one seems to get it right for the last 20 years Ive been living in the US. Until I did a research online and read about Salon Thor. Read more reviews and decided to give it a try. My first try, a few months back, was a success! I got lots of compliments. So, yesterday I went back and also scheduled my husbands much needed hair cut from his lockdown look. I love love my cut. Ive been going to Salon Thor for 10 years. Tried a few different salons in between for convenience and I just keep winding back up here because nothing compares to it. They do an awesome job...ANY of their stylists. Ive seen a few over the years and loved them all. Tyler is my go to now. Thor is AMAZING - the color of blonde was amazing and exactly what I wanted unfortunately cancelling 2 days prior willing to reschedule and trying to be courteous since I was called into work (I work at a hospital) the guy that works the desk told me to find a new salon and to not come back. I was able to get an appointment at short notice due to a cancellation. Kami is an excellent stylist. Put me at ease immediately, listened carefully and gave me one of the nicest cuts I have had in years. Very reasonably priced. Nice, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. The whole experience was seamless and easy, right from the phone call to book the appointment (one of the co-owners picked up the phone and booked the appointment, after helping calculate my driving distance and whether I could get there on time), to the time I walked out after the cut. So refreshing to find a place that is exactly as advertised on their website...a comfortable environment with the highest quality service.

I had an appointment with Sonja Lundin. This is my first time getting a haircut here. I was nervous, as you never know if a new stylist would be good but I took a chance, I needed to find a new hair salon closer to home and I needed a haircut badly. Sonja, was very sweet, she made sure I was comfortable, she was personable, she listened to my concerns, not to mention my hair looks amazing. Overall, I had a great experience and Ill be booking soon for hair color and all my future haircuts with Sonja again :)

I have been a client here for the last 2 1/2 years or so after I had gotten a recommendation to come here! They have an absolutely wonderful staff and Abby their stylist is incredible! If you are looking for platinum hair - she is the best!

Be warned. They scheduled me with the first available and didn’t even explain that their services are based on a tier system. They don’t even have service prices on their website with each stylist and how much each service is for their stylists levels. Way overpriced for a cut and color for short hair. Stylist was great and all but I will not be returning. Take your money elsewhere.

She listens to what you have in mind and offers suggestions, which always turn out great! Every time I go in to see her, its like catching up with an old friend. She remembers what was going on in life the last time I was there, and picks up right where we left off. I have recommend many other friends to give her a try, including both my husband and mom, who have also now been going to her for numerous years.The salon itself is awesome! It is always very clean and all the staff is friendly. They use high quality hair products, which smell great. It is also very easy to find parking by the salon, which I love!

Michelle has been cutting my hair for more than 17 years now and I have never had a bad haircut. In fact, people often compliment my hair. She is a fabulous stylist whose judgment I completely trust. She has cut and colored my hair, waxed my brows and other facial hair, and tweezed errant hairs. Always with excellent results. I highly recommend her.

Fantastic staff, even better haircut and the petting zoo in the back was a nice touch. I found the price of their cotton candy and pirate hats to be a bit extreme but to quote Gandhi, beggars cant be choosers. Very excited to host my nephews birthday here next year; 5 stars.

I recently followed Siam to this salon after 3 years of being her loyal client.I have had nothing but great results every time! Before Siam,I never rebuked with a stylist and would try a new one out every time I needed a cut, but I just clicked with her right away and loved her work. She made me feel very comfortable and I enjoyed our conversation. Over the years, she has continued her learning and is a very educated and talented stylist! I highly recommend her!

We recently relocated to the area and got a recommendation to come here from a Facebook group. I work nights, so it was awesome to be able to go online book my wife an appointment at 11pm. The salon is adorable, and my wife’s stylist (Abby) was extremely personable and fun to talk to. My wife got an incredible haircut for a reasonable price and we are very happy customers. Every time I come here to see Shannon, I leave elated, in love with my new color, and generally a new product or two. She gives me great advice on color care, which is essential for me since I have dry, damaged hair. I honestly cant rave enough, my hair appears shinier and more lustrous between appointments since I switched to Salon Thor. Shannons skills with balayage are seriously incredible!

They do a great job, but they get mad at disabled people. My relative is in their 60s and has a chronic disease that makes life unpredictable. They were mad at my relative because they had to cancel an appointment and made them pay for the cancellation and told them they wont let them come back again. This is spiteful and mean.

I lived in Bayview for two years and discovered Salon Thor midway through. Im very glad that I did. For a little over a year, CJ cut my hair, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She was always able to help me settle on a style that would suit me well, and I always walked out satisfied. Furthermore, she was always very pleasant to converse with during the haircut. In terms of the business, scheduling online really makes things easy, and the other members of the staff that Ive interacted with were always professional kind. Ive since moved, but if Im ever back in the neighborhood, Ill definitely be back, and I highly recommend Salon Thor.

Absolutely awesome place. I needed my beard to be groomed, so after a quick googling this placed popped down and the ratings were great. One call and i had a late evening appointment, which is super convenient if you are busy during the day. Abby happened to be my barber. I was so happy after she did an absolutely fantastic job. Her proffesional touch brought me back to my European experience, where barbers are hands down prefessionally trained artists. She turned me.from a Duck dynasty Hill Billy into a contemporary looking person. The time just passed by so fast, while she was doing her clipping and cutting and chatting about things. As somebody mentioned here in reviews I will fallow her since now. In general, the place is a very asrtsy looking saloon with extraordinary welcoming environment. Oh, one more thing, i was not expecting to pay such a reasonable price. Normally salons pricing is expected to be way expensive.
