Bought a 2018 Chevy Cruze back in August (it is now October). i bring it in for its first oil change and get told by the person doing the change that whoever previously changed the oil stripped the oil pan while putting the drain plug back in so i am now paying for a universal plug to fix it. along with a leak on the main seal between the engine and transmission that (according to the person currently changing my oil) has been there since before purchasing the car. i had jumped through many hoops in the course of the 10 day sale just to purchase a car that has problems. other than that, we had an awesome salesperson. terrible mechanics.

If I could give a zero I would. Brought my truck in for a traction issue, service claimed they fixed it. Had the exact problem 5 days later. Took it back in they say it’s something else and would be twice as much what I just paid to get it fixed. Scammer

Errick at Griffin was wonderful when we experienced a flat tire on the nearby highway. Even though our make of vehicle was not Chevy, he assisted us in finding a tire nearby that would fit our vehicle and even facilitated a shuttle to pick up the new tire! He then assisted in having the blown out tire removed and the new one put on. A situation that could have taken all day ended up only being a few hour delay. He was very reasonable with payment and a very nice person to work with. Even though it was not a planned stop in our schedule, we will be highly recommending Griffin Chevrolet to anyone who asks!

I was going to give a 5 star review, but then something came up that changed that. On the positive side, the sales person was very low key and easy to work with. I am very happy with the vehicle and feel that I was able to purchase it at a great price. However, the reason for 2 stars: several days after purchasing the vehicle, I noticed that one of the tires was patched/plugged on the side of the tire (the tire pressure monitor light came on, so I checked the tires). That is at best a temporary repair, not a safe tire to drive on for an extended time, and no reputable tire shop would repair that. Either they didnt inspect the tire closely (even though it is plainly visible), they saw it and ignored it, or it happened at some point when it was at the dealership. Since 3 days had passed after the purchase of the car, they were unwilling to replace the tire or offer any refund to the purchase of a new tire (which I ended up buying), and they would not concede that the tire had passed their inspection in that condition (but it obviously did anyway). So the lesson I learned was that if you buy a used car from Griffin (or any other used car dealer), really inspect the car carefully yourself before buying it and driving away. I had assumed that reading the WI state inspection vehicle sheet with all the boxes checked was sufficient, but that was not the case with this tire.I came away with a car I like at a great price, but the tire thing left a bad taste in my mouth.

I had taken my car in for an oil change and shortly after I had gotten it back, I realized there was a dirty hand mark on the interior of my vehicle. I hadnt told them about it but I received a text a few days later asking me to complete a survey if I received one. I had replied back that I was unhappy about the dirty hand mark on the fabric of the interior. They said to bring it in and they would make it right for me. They WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND!!! I just expected that certain area to be cleaned but when I went to pick up the vehicle, they had detailed the whole thing! Thank you sooo much for such great service over all! I will be back for my next oil change!

I bought a very expensive used vehicle not even a year ago and have had tons of transmission issues and now am having to put a whole new transmission in. The transmission casting was flawed and there is a crack that they had to know about if they did any kind of inspection.

We took our new vehicle in for an oil change and they scratched all our lug nuts when rotating the tires. They did replace a few of them but said they would not replace them all. We purchased oil changes when we bought our vehicle and are very hesitant to take our vehicle back there as they do not seem to be very cautious about returning your vehicle as you brought it in. We are very meticulous about our cars and take good care of them and find it unacceptable they were so careless and acted as if it were no big deal.

Vehicle towed to dealership for general diagnostics. Received a call from the service advisor regarding the status of my vehicle and informed the diagnosis would be $104.00. I was later informed that the diagnosis fee would be $208.00 (doubled) due to an additional diagnosis as the vehicle would not start, as to why it was originally towed. Spoke with general manager and advised that each additional concern would amount in an additional diagnosis charge. This is very concerning as it is recommended to return vehicles to dealerships for maintenance and you are charged unrealistic amounts of money just for diagnosis fee. Service coupons no good. You have to spend over $500 to get 10% ridiculous. Very dissatisfied with GM for this type of service.

I needed tires. I received a coupon from your dealership, so I stopped in. I ordered the tires and asked for a oil change. The tires went well. I also had a diagnosis for another problem. I paid the fee but the repair was too expensive. I declined the repair. Once I left, I discovered my check engine light and check tire light on. I returned because I had not received the oil change I requested. The service rep. apologized said they must not have gotten the message. but, I could get the oil change any time. Paying for a diagnosis and discovering that they did not notice my car needed additional servicing or even recommend same. I dont believe this to be good service. Not to mention the fees were too High and I never received the discount I was offered.I think the customer service needs a face-lift. You may also want to look at how to address the whole car with every customer.

He was very helpful with the questions I asked, If he didnt know the answer he would try to find out.While negotiating the car price I was not impressed with the sales manager (he had a southern accent) he said I gotch you by the balls pretty much because that there are not many new suburbans around and inventory was scarce and that he had a car there that I wanted. I thought that was very unprofessional and why would you talk to a person like that!

While the person I was working with was very nice, the service overall was poor. I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation for 1:10 and by 2:35, my car remained untouched. I had an appointment at 3 half an hour away from the dealership. So, I asked if it could be worked on soon or another time. That’s when my car did get its oil changed but the tires could not be rotated. After finishing at 2:55, I was given $10 off my next service along with a free tire rotation.

I have had wonderful service from your dealership in the past, because of that i will travel a few extra miles to go to Griffin Chevrolet. I went in for a oil change and tire rotation. ( I arrived at dealer ship around 12:30) We did the paper work to start the service. I expected the process to take at least an hour. I went to the customer lounge had a soda, I was maybe there 20 minutes max!! The service manager ( I cant remember his name ) came out to inform car was finished. It is because of results like this I will travel the extra distance, to get great service.

It was not an easy experience, however, I was patiently enough to deal with them because of our communication barriers. This service did not provide a certified sign-language interpreter at the time of my visitations, however, I called them by using my video phone device as well as we were with a third party from the Sorenson Company before I came there. In few days later, it seemed that they were not prepared to meet me there. But it was a good thing, one of people remembered me and treated me accordingly by knowing how to figure out the best ways of communication accesses. That was why my experience with the Griffin Chevrolet was not great, just #5 in the range. It would not be impossible to rate a 10 number if we have small issues in our communication system. I am truly sorry for putting a #5 rate because it was an honesty way to tell you. And I know you wont put this message into a publication as you would hope me to allow you to put down my response. Few months ago, they did provide me a certified sign-language interpreter for four hours, and it was a great experience between me and your finance manager, and your sales person. On the day of purchased my brand new car, Chevrolet Blazer 2020, my hearing partner helped me out in dealing with the sales person on May 29. I feel bad for my Chuck who have lost his free times on that day, because Chuck is not a certified sign-language interpreter.

Well I called with a Hypothetical Question and I got a Hypothetical answer.I was married to a mechanic my Sons works for a Dealership and and I was taught my car my responsibility to check and maintain whats under the hood. However, this Pandemic stuff and not driving many miles between my last oil fluid check I thought I could hold off to till I needed to change out for winter. Well I was told very nicely it would be cheaper to have and oil change than to have to replace an engine. So hence I heeded this mans words and came in an did just as was suggested. As a loyal customer to Griffin I was very disappointed in my diagnostic for my window. I asked the service tech how long it would take and he said max an hour & a half.We called after 2 hours to check for an update, he answered & said he would check with the mechanics. We never got a call back.We waited another hour (3 hours) to get a response that he was out on lunch & he would call us back.After hour 4, we called again and they said he was busy. We asked if ANY service tech could give us an update & they said no - it HAS to be the person you were working with... which i find crazy.He called back after 5 hours & 4 phones calls later with the diagnostic. He gave no apology until I brought up how unsatisfied I was with the long wait and lack of communication. A simple phone call to say This is taking longer than usual would have been sufficient and i wouldnt have been upset. He did not offer a discount until my husband called, even then we declined further service, we were stillllll not given a discount for the diagnostic. UNTIL, I asked his supervisor at checkout... he was still hesitant. The service tech stated that the delay was due to him being in meetings all day, but the manger stated that the delay was due window diagnostics being difficult because of electrical wiring. Two very different excuses for both of them!Moral of the story, update your customers and have good customer service. I will not be coming back unfortunately!

I have a new 2020 Equinox that I bought in March 2020. The check engine light came on week of 10/23/20. Code was for brake assist vacuum hose. This also happened to my 2018 leased Equinox, but not until I had it for almost 3 years (got it in April of 2017). Griffin changed the hose and I thought I was good to go. 4 days later, the light is on again. I dont understand why Chevy doesnt realize this is an issue and use a different type of hose that wont collapse as these are doing. Now, I have to go back again and have it serviced. Very frustrating. Its not Griffins fault that Chevy isnt correcting the problem but still very inconvenient to the consumer.

I have been getting my oil changed here for years and unfortunately today was the worst experience I have ever had. I arrived at 7:30 am and was told there were six cars ahead of me... I didnt think much of it as they were working on three vehicles at a time or so I thought. Two and a half hours later my car was finally done so I guess they were only working on one at a time or just really slow. When I got to the checkout counter I got a good idea as to why it took so long for my oil to be changed. Four workers were just hanging out at the desk talking about being sick and catching up on the holiday. I was told my tires were in good shape as well as my windshield wipers etc. This can as a slight surprise since last time I was in they said I would need new tires soon and my windshield wipers were in need of replacement (Both accurate and they gave me quotes on tires at the time). When I got in my car I check to see if the oil life indicator had been reset and it said I was still at 25% oil life.Apparently catching up with coworkers/friends is more important than taking the time to properly service a vehicle. When you are paying to service a vehicle it is nice to have workers that care about the small details and this was lacking today. Unfortunately I will be taking my business elsewhere based on todays experience.

Steve did an amazing job listening to what we were looking for and showing us the different models that were available. He was patient with us asking questions and responded to emails and text messages very quickly. He was happy to help us find our choice vehicle and was able to be flexible with his time. Brad and Steve will be my first recommendation to any and all friends and family. Upon pickup, Steve showed us around the dealership and where we would come in for any questions or service, which gave us confidence that we would not be on our own after the transaction was complete. after finance preapproval was completed he worked on getting everything ready for us to pick up the truck on 12/29/2020, which happened to be an evening when we got 8-10 inches of snow. I was ecstatic to have the 4 wheel drive of our new truck on the way home, which surpassed every other vehicle that I have driven in snow. Lastly, the final paperwork, walkthrough of the dealership, tutorial of the features, call with OnStar and phone app setup were all done timely, but not to the point of feeling rushed. Chris in finance also did a great job walking us through the lease and explaining all of the items we had questions on. Have a 2015 Chevy Cruz bring it to his place to get work done because the engine light was on they charge me 1800 to fix the vehicle the car was under a two-year warranty had the same part fixed twice within that warranty in a year after the last time it was fixed is back messed up this place has poor customer service poor communication skills drop my car off to them today so they won’t be ready till the next day was I got to the next day they told me when to be ready for three days later

I had a fabulous experience with Griffin Chevy. My sales professional, Kyle Kiley (aka, KK) was friendly and knowledgeable, but most importantly for me she was not at all pushy (as I had experienced with a different dealership). I ended up buying the car on the spot, and she put in extra effort to get the details sorted out. Similarly the finance professional, Mo, was informative but not pushy when discussing the extended warranty and optional interior/exterior protection packages. I highly recommend this dealership and KK if you are in the market for a new or used car!
