Usually when I visit a coffee shop I get a plain americano, but since they make a house lavender syrup, I decided to add that in. WOW! Americano is changed for me!! I’m so glad they have the syrup available for purchase as well, this place is fantastic! Very helpful and friendly staff as well!

Star wars themed, homemade almond milk and homemade syrups. Say no more. Pumpkin spice syrup for the fall was perfect, not overly sweet.

Alderaan has great coffee and great baked goods. My office moved closer to their location recently and Ive only used carryout / order ahead and my order is always ready quickly and without issue. The staff is kind and always says hello. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good cup from a local shop. Plus, they are open later in the day which is great for a late day pick me up!

Love this shop! Seems like a small three person crew and usually very quick service for good coffee. Reccomend the half cold brew, half Rocket Fuel as a nice treat!

I’m from Seattle so coffee is a big deal for me. This place is perfect. Great oat milk cappuccino. Didn’t overheat the oat milk and no need for sugar (even though I added honey because I was feeling sassy) This is typically my test drink for a coffee shop and they nailed it. 10/10. Also, the barista was super nice so I have no idea why anyone would say they are rude.This will be my new go to spot everyone I fly in.

My request to complete some work inside the coffee shop was met with a passive aggressive response (presumably related to covid), completely indifferent to customer service. Then I was informed AFTER I had ordered and paid that the wifi was down anyway. Sign on the door requests mask wearing with no regard to vaccination status (Im vaccinated). The coming months will be a rough navigation for some, pitting business etiquette/customer service against covid hysteria and it appears Alderaan Coffee has already chosen their side. Not a friendly place for writers or online workers. Id always prefer local over chain, but will avoid this particular shop for the more welcoming arms of the mermaid. Coffee and muffin were good.

Great coffee, friendly and helpful staff, cool atmosphere. Buut the single stall bathrooms could easily be made gender inclusive with a change of signs please consider your non-binary patrons.

Had an iced chai with oatmilk which was delicious. My friend is anxious and had a hard time describing what she wanted. The Barista working that day seemed super bothered with her and wasnt very helpful. She may have been having a rough day so we didnt complain or anything. As a former barista this was super frustrating. She should be knowledgeable and kind enough to help the guest. Again the drink were delicious but thats not enough to make me want to go back.

Excellent coffee. They are hard-core on the covid procedures too so if you like to play it safe (or just hate being around other people) then youre gonna love it

I love this place. I have traveled to over 10 countries and they definitely have one of the best coffees I have ever tried. The staff there is amazing and very friendly. I also really appreciate the Covid precautions they are taking for the safety of their customers. I couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommended!

So here we have the rude barista/roaster working the counter. Nicely pulled shot. Nice finish out. Wouldn’t recommend the place. It’s still a customer facing hospitality business. I travel. A lot. Been to probably 150 indie coffee shops all over the country. Good roasting and a dialed in shot is not enough to compete.

Awesome place for great coffee! The building itself is a great design tribute to Star Wars. Stepping in, you’ll find a stylish little coffee spot with a friendly staff. Their menu is pretty impressive, I had a hard time picking one thing. The coffee was delicious, I almost bought another to go. The prices aren’t the cheapest, but it is worth every penny. They also have outdoor seating which is great for the summer. There’s free 2-hour parking outside which is a blessing being near the downtown area.

COVID-19 service --The location:On a corner near Fresh Thyme. Theres 3 hour free parking on the street behind the shop.The drinks:I got a mocha with oat milk. Im not exaggerating when I say it was one of the best mochas of my life. Dark, rich, just a little sweetness, and perfect drinking temperature.The service:Easy online ordering via a link I got from their google maps listing. There are options to customize your drink as needed. You can order curbside delivery or pick-up.I ran in to pick-up and true to their word, my drink was ready in the five minutes predicted. Only 1 human at a time is permitted in the shop and pick-up location inside is easily labeled. On nicer days, theyll leave drinks on an outside table.The barista was cheerful and happy to help. I was in and out in under two minutes.Next time:I might need a shot of caramel in my mocha for an extra treat.

Stick to McDonalds or try the place two blocks East.

Coffee is good but the male barista is very unpleasant. He makes me feel like I’m inconveniencing him every time I go in. Today, I witnessed him screaming / swearing at a non-customer who parked in their to-go spot. I understand that must be frustrating, but you have to think about the image your setting as an employee / owner. That was likely the final straw for me. Interval is way better anyway.

We loved visiting this little coffee shop on Water St. Theirsalted chocolate cookies and blueberry and poppy seed bakery was awesome. The owners and employees were so accommodating and hospitable. When we get back in the Milwaukee area again, we will definitely make a point of visiting the Alderaan Coffee shop again.

Neat little coffee shop. Not as star wars themed as I would have thought but still cool. Chai latte was great. Bakery selection from the shop and other local bakeries great. The iced lavender latte was good but a little strong and bitter for my taste. I dont drink stuff with espresso in it often so I should have asked for just one shot but my bad not the shops. The coffee here is always superb. Pourovers and drip. Detailed descriptions of their curated blends from different roasters. Homemade almond milk. Im not sure if they still have it, but they used to make their own lavender syrup (their lavendar almond milk lattes used to be my jam until I switched to black coffee). Small, quiet, and clean space.

First time here. Liked the space, my tea was good and the seating was nice. The loud folk music was distracting at points but still enjoyable.

I used to live near Alderaan Coffee and I really miss going there everyday, they are local so Im supportive of their business and will still drive 20 minuted for a Chai instead of going to Starbucks. The employees are always nice and exhibits great customer service skills!

Local coffee shop with an awesome rotating variety of coffee. Coffee is great, made with a lot of skill and care. Staff are great! Some food, not much, pastries and sweet stuff. They do make their own granola and have a yogurt and granola dish which is quite tasty. I travel quite a bit and try and find local coffee shops wherever I go. Some are amazing, others suck. This place is one of the stars! Definitely will go back and I would say would be my goto coffee whenever Im in the area.

This is the best chai latte I have had in a long time! It is spicy and interesting on my tongue.The atmosphere is calm, but chic.The owner is very knowledgeable and ready to offer information and advice to give you the best experience possible.If you visit Milwaukee, plan a stop here!

It was fine. Got a poppy seed loaf and a drip coffee. Coffee is a bit acrid. I prefer a darker roast but thats just my taste.

Cute coffee shop, great location, best I can say about the place.....but the coffee was very average and service was strange.The barista took our drink order, rudely, and then proceeded to make us stand there while he made all the drinks, as opposed to letting us pay then sit down to wait for our drinks.We were a party of 3, so we pushed together two small tables that were sitting inches from each other. After reading and getting some work done, when it came time to leave, the barista took a second to look up from his phone that hed been on the whole visit to ask us could you put those tables back to where they were?. Keep in mind the place was dead and nobody needed those tables.Bottom line is no need to go back considering the better coffee choices in the city (Colectivo, Anodyne, Stone Creek, etc...)

Kind of a bro coffee place but nobody will feel out of place. Ive heard the complaints about one of the baristas here; myself, I like a barista who makes it clear he/she isnt there to entertain you. Get your coffee, sit down, and get engrossed in your phone/laptop like everybody else. The music selection is almost always good (again, a barista thing). The decor is a quick knuckle bump (ala Letterkenny) to Star Wars (Star Trek? Now Im not sure), so not overpoweringly in your face. Its a good place to work or study. Coffee is fine, pastries are the same as everywhere.

This is a cute modern coffee shop. I love getting coffee from their pour over bar. Their coffee is always freshly ground and flavorful. They always change their pour over menu with unique exotic coffees.

Quaint place in downtown MKE. Ambiance is calm and relaxed and the coffee is very good, whether the house blend, espresso or latte.

Great independent coffee shop, unique interior, strong coffee with fair prices! Parking can be difficult in this area, but it is within walking distance of many downtown interests. Best lavender chai latte I have ever had, and my husbands favorite is the Red Eye.

They serve high quality products here often using homemade ingredients. The space itself is quite small but has a good, modern vibe.

Stopped here for the first time...the cortado was great, definitely one of the better ones I had in Milwaukee. The service, unfortunately was underwhelming. It was as if I was bothering him by ordering and paying for coffee. I have friends whove mentioned the same regarding the baristas. I dont get it. I want to like it, but there are plenty of other places to get great coffee.

I stop here pretty frequently. Love the lavender lattes! Nice baristas, clean, and the wait isnt too bad, even when its busy. Plus they have water bowls out for dogs :)

They have the usual suspects when it comes to coffee drinks, as well as a pour over bar for the coffee connoisseur. In addition to drinks they have pastries and oatmeal. If you are intimidated by all the fancy drinks, they have knowledgeable staff on hand to walk you through the menu. if you end up drinking too much coffee and you need something to calm you down, no worries, they have bottled beer.

Amazing espresso and delicious pastries. Cool interior, friendly staff, and Star Wars references; who could want anything more? A must visit.

Very nice atmosphere and good espresso. The owner and shorter female barista are delightful, but the tall, bearded barista makes it very uncomfortable. I’ve been there four times in the last week and every time I haven’t been spoken to unless I initiated an order. Every single time he stares and waits but won’t even say hello when I walk up to the register, yet he is friendly enough and initiates with other patrons so I suppose it’s just me. I quite like the cafe and espresso drinks but finding it hard to come in and work in the morning with such unpleasant service. If you’re looking for a place with good coffee and a friendly atmosphere I would recommend going someplace else.

Tucked away a fraction of a parsec off Water and Pleasant, this place will pour you a fine cuppa without the exorbitant prices of the terrestrial owned shops. Seriously.
