Nice chill cafe with lots of sitting space. I went during a weekday afternoon and yet all the spots were taken. Found a spot to sit quietly and work in after much struggle. Otherwise, perfect place to go hangout or work. I noticed that this cafe is also frequented by a lot of students.

Love this place and a must stop when on the lake front. Its an old pumping station and is as beautiful on the inside as outside. Always busy and normally a line.Plenty of outdoor seating thats perfect for people watching, car admiring, or just sitting back and reading your favorite book.There is parking, but you may have to park at the marina across the street.The cold brew shake is coffee blended in ice cream, #favorite.

Fantastic coffee, best hot chocolate Ive had that isnt homemade, true croissants, delicious cookies and muffins, sandwiches are really good too. Im new to the area and so thankful to have a really good coffee shop to replace the one I left in Michigan. Staff is very friendly, service is quick, everything is clean. I cant say enough how much I love this place!

Great place for an early morning 8 am traffic however occasionally can be confusing because of occupancy! More fluency in merchandising can quickly fix this! Also, my coffee is never strong enough here maybe my tolerance is too high! They never do it for me! Two entrances are confusing the two different lines. The mobile order pickup is way too complex for the period! I suggest you go to your local one!

Great place to grab a coffee and quick breakfast! Amazing view of the lake and there was live music while we ate outside in their lovely courtyard.

It was my first visit and they completely forgot about my order. Lots of people that came behind me got their orders before I did. When we finally asked if our order was ready my drink had not even been made yet. Our food was sitting. They did not start making my drink until I asked about it. Ill still be coming back because food and drinks made up for it. I just hope this doesnt happen too often.

I was asked to leave this location even though my service dog was in his service dog vest and after expressing that he was my service dog.However, the food/tea is lovely, the service is mostly great, and the location is uniquely spectacular!

Amazing selection of Burritos, less calories and more protein for people who like a healthy meal! I dont eat meat but I still had plenty of choices to choose from. However, items on the menu are re-heated and given to you. They come straight from the bakery, wherever they make it, in the morning and all they do is use the microwave oven!Beverages, sure, if you like coffee, you wouldnt be disappointed!

Awesome food and drinks. The customer service could be better, but it wasnt bad. They are super busy in the morning, but they offer ordering through an app. I really enjoyed my avocado toast and white chocolate frappe. Will definitely return.

It is my favorite place to go for a good cup of coffee, relax by the lake and breath fresh air. The staff is great as well as great customer service is abundant. The place is packed; but you have a choice to be inside or outside across from the lake (the best choice).

I was at this location getting coffee this morning (which is always great). There was a couple in front of me who brought 2 dogs in, one of the employees must have said something about the dogs and the customer flew off the handle at the workers, yelling and saying they were being rude to her. The employees in return did everything right, reacting calm while she continued to yell at them. Every time I have been to this location, I have had nothing but great experiences. At a time where staffing is low in the service industry, being that aggressive and rude to someone who is just trying to do their job is completely unnecessary. Instead let’s all try to be kind, you wouldn’t want someone coming into your workplace and screaming at you. Thanks for the great coffee and service!

Pretty decent drink options. I wish there were more non pork meat options but I ended up with scone. It was ok. Sat outside and enjoyed the location.

Long line and long wait. I think there was a new Employee at the Register today. Really slowed things down. They should have had a second Register person and/or someone assisting the new kid. Chorizo Burrito was Meh. Mushy and either the Chorizo was ground to an unrecognizable substance or non-existent. None of the young ladies working there had a Service-With-A-Smile disposition. Ive been to Collectivo many times before when I come to Milwaukee. Really like the location. Usually good coffee but may not be back. This time disappointed.

I tried to be friendly to the cashier today and they made no effort at reciprocating any form of human decency. Not a morning person? You work at a coffee house. My job also involves customer service and I don’t allow myself days off from being polite.

Coffee is great (sometimes the seasonal stuff gets a little wonky but they will remake a drink if you don’t like it). Basic cafe eats done well. Love the baked stuff, oatmeal, and turkey sandwiches. Refreshing summer iced teas and smoothies. The wait can get really long sometimes but the vibes are immaculate, esp on a nice day. I miss the cozy indoor seating in the winter. Love having this in my neighborhood

Nice location but coffee is subpar. Enjoyed the lovely bright chairs outside and the leaves changing but coffee could be better, quite weak. Pastries were good. Easy pick up service in back due to covid.

Super cool coffee shop in a very unique building. The salted Carmel latte is amazing and so is the food they offer. The environment is both calm and outgoing at the same time and it calls for a great time.

Well. Coffee and staff are amazing BUT you are surrounded by Dems, snowflakes and well you get it.

PROS: Decent food and beverages but standard by means of coffee shops. Menu dictates certain dietary restrictions which is helpful. My favorite aspect of this location is the historic pump house building. The best seat in the house overlooks the main pump from the second level with a two table balcony.50/50: Live music outside during the warmer months; something to keep in mind if you are trying to study or get work done.CONS: Limited parking especially during peak times or with summer music (90 min limit).

This is a great historical space! The line might look long or big at times but it moves fast... And service is always with a smile! Outdoor seating it marvelous!

I started going to Colectivo when I was a student at UW-Madison. Always same baristas who knew my order, etc. in Madison. The staff at this location in Milwaukee is a lot bigger, so drinks are a little inconsistent sometimes (I usually get a double espresso so you can tell if someone knows what theyre doing or not). Its definitely not the most speedy service, but I know theyre also dealing with a lot of mobile orders, and I dont mind waiting for good coffee. The pumpkin cranberry muffin and lavender lemon scone are fantastic, and their breakfast menu is also very good.

Very nice coffee shop on lakefront. The building still has the old pump that used to be the largest water pump in the world when it was built. Coffee tea and small bites are served here. Outdoor seating is also available. Pumpkin cranberry muffin is my favorite there.

Located in a historical building along Milwaukees lakefront, this shop has by far, the best coffee in town. I had a lemon lavender scone to go with my lattee and my husband had a wonderful cinnamon roll to go with his lemonade. Seating inside or outside and the outside seating is more of a relaxing beer garden. I really loved this place! Parking can be limited.

This is my favorite place to come when we are in town. This time, we biked there and it was exquisite!

I love this coffee shop its so nice by the lake outside seating, a large variety of food and drinks. I enjoyed it very much I had a berry booster smoothie it was so refreshing. I would recommend this place to everyone .

Amazing Chai tea, fabulous staff, great coffee. If it is nice out parking can be difficult so you may have to park at the marina across the street. Plenty of coffee shops have problems bringing in customers during the summer but this place is the exception. When the weather is nice it is packed. Even so the staff take care of you and really make it feel like short wait. Worth the wait given the atmosphere.

Besides this great pic of the North Pier Colectivo is in the perfect spot on Lincoln Memorial Dr. It is always busy but it is completely worth the wait. I had the creamiest Tomato Florentine with crusty soup absorbing bread and Croutons. I also enjoyed a Curry Chicken Wrap with their Kettle Chips. I had a great time on the Lake with this convenient casual comfortable cafe. Join me anytime here

Popular coffee shop in Milwaukee downtown, I like it than Starbucks. Just nearby the Michigan lake, a cup of coffee and walk along the lake is very comfortable in daily life.

Coffee and people watching in the open air. My daughter and grandpuppy took me over for breakfast. Coffee and breakfast sandwich were amazing and so was the scenery.

Love all the outdoor seating! Lattes taste great and I like the variety of pastries, burritos, and sandwiches. Horchata cold brew is so good. Please try bc it reminds me of fall.This cafe is right on the lakefront and they have 90min free parking for customers in the back. I need to try their tea bc they all look so good.

Love this spot, great location to enjoy a coffee. Holiday weekend and they were super busy, 15 min wait in line, another 10 to get coffee and order was wrong but they fixed quickly. Have been before and would go back again!

Every time Im in Milwaukee I try to start my day off with Colectivo Coffee. Great coffee, food, baked goods and service and the outdoor seating makes a great place to catch a few rays or do some people watching. Downsides are theres not enough parking and its on a very busy thoroughfare. Quite noisy and odiferous on a still and muggy day.

Great place to nosh on something yummy (like a brownie, scone, or slab of sweet bread), sip coffee and people watch/cruise!

I took my parents here today and was very disappointed. We chose to go to this location because they had indoor seating, but seating was very limited and we were unable to find a table. I also had to wait in a line for 15 minutes for the bathroom because they only have one stall. Those things would not have been a big deal, but they also got two of our orders wrong. I used to love coming to this location but it has really gone downhill, as have several of the other locations I have tried. This was my last trip Ill be making to Colectivo.

Great coffee, drink and food selection is good, the staff is great but parking can be a nightmare because the ways are narrow and pretty beat up, and the line inside can confuse some people. Every person I saw enter was confused and would end up cutting the line at the halfway point. They do a lot of things right but cant fix the simple things.

This is one of the chicest cafes in the city. The kale salad here is to die for and Ive heard everything else is great. Ive gotten lattes and teas before which were great. I used to come here to work remote in occasion.

They have good snack here and some special drink located at Milwaukee down town near by Summer Fest. Great place for some drink and snack

This place is A+ in all aspect, design, products and service. The place looks very cozy and there were plenty of seating and work space. I would recommend coming here for a coffee and some breakfast.

Fabulous selection of foods and beverages, multi level dining areas with generous seating. Great views on their expansive outdoor patio area. Their own signature coffee blends are all equally delicious. Perfect for a drop in to go drink for your lakefront walkabout or a sit down with family and friends for a bite to eat in eclectic and artistic decor. Dog friendly outdoors and also widely broadcasted WiFi available. Peak hours can be a bit of a cramped wait, but the staff is both friendly and efficient so the waits are generally short.

This cool, hip coffee joint near Bradford Beach is perfect stop for morning latte or evening horchata. Ample seating both inside and out, it is a great way to sip and enjoy the day! Parking is a bit of a struggle so come prepared to search for a spot but the old converted water works building is well worth a visit!

Ahhh this patio is lovely. Didnt love my drink (oat chatta I think it was called) but thats just a personal preference, my husband loved it. You cant really see the lake from the patio, but the vibe is there.. you can feel it. Line got superrrr long otherwise I wouldve tried something else.

This café/coffee shop was a beautiful blend of spectacular staff and tasty coffee. While the general crowd had issues finding where to stand either to order or waiting to order, the spacing provided forgiveness to those lost without feeling in the way. The spring matcha cap is def something I would drink twice.

Very nice coffee shop right by the lake. A ton of space so you get a comfortable feel but not overcrowded atmosphere like so many other coffee shops. Pretty good food selection as well! Theyre in the process of remodeling the outdoor seating area as well so Id recommend visiting in the summer!

Coffee was okay 🤷🏻‍♂️. But they were mask biatsches. I have a personal opinion of masks, but I respect businesses that ask for masks to comply with controlling local and state gov’ts.One may kindly request a patron to put on a mask. I am partially to blame here (that’s why I gave a “3-star”). I assume most people are common-sensed to understand a mask is no protection and businesses post signs to check-the-box, I typically wait to be asked. I will wear a mask if asked. I won’t try to make a point of it. But the sass at this place was ridiculous.I won’t go back to this place. After being verbally abused and donned my mask, I thought to try the coffee. Maybe the coffee would be worth the abuse. NOT SO.we are full-time RVers and travel the states. We have had some great coffee and some lousy coffee. This place was just above mediocre. The espresso was over extracted (they likely need to re-dial-in their machine). One of our drinks should have been with almond milk - we were given regular milk.It’s a shame, because this place was beautiful.
