Been going to mega media exchange since they had one by Southridge Mall when EB Games was still around. Its a nice spot to go to for discounted DVD, controllers old systems and new. I think the prices are nice too. Always friendly service when you walk in. Although no place seems to have any PS4 controllers. Other than that it was good. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for good prices for any cables, game consoles, games, movies, and more.

I love this store. So many classics and the staff is super nice, thorough, and fun to talk with. Wish I lived closer so I could shop here more, but maybe its for the best that I cant 😂

The place has a massive selection of movies and games. I love that it has games from every generation! The organization is a little weird but if youre willing to look around, then it is totally worth checking out!

Over the roughly 10 years that Ive bought and sold stuff at the location on Farwell, Ive never dealt with a single bad employee. Thats rare, and awesome. Prices are just fine for buyers and sellers. Five stars for consistently being great.

If you’re selling used gaming equipment just take it to GameStop. I had a 75 dollar difference in offers. Kids that work there are not bad people, but are definitely trying to take your stuff for nothing.

Every time Im here I leave spending about $25 for a game and a few good condition blu rays. Negative reviews seem to be people who expect eBay prices selling stuff to a store who has to buy it and be able to turn a profit from it. Would highly recommend.

Was absolutely awesome, staff were helpful, the place has an open and kind feel to it. Tons of stuff to look through. I could sit in there for 2 hours and end up spending $300 because of all the cool stuff i find and want.

What ever you do dont buy used electronics here ive bought two controllers and both had something wrong with them that u wont know until to late but you cant get your money back only in store credit which is useless when they only have 1 controller literally a scam .. You were warned

At least their customer service is better than the Brookfield location, but their movie selection leaves much to be desired. Every time I go I can’t seem to find any of the movies I am looking for (nothing unreasonable, just some new releases and blu rays of some popular horror movies). The positive is that when you can find the movies you are looking for the price is right.

Bought two PS3 with no controllers,when I asked if they could throw one in because I was buying two gaming systems the answer was NO.I will not be going back!

I just really like it here! Idk if Im just randomly lucky with my timing but idk they are pretty convenient!! and the staff are kind n informative! ...customers are even pretty chill n nice. Ppl laugh n smile watching my 2 n a half year old walk fast n giggle at me as im like no baby boy you come back here n i pick him up... They have such a well stocked variety of movies, TV shows n seasons, disney, anime, pokemon, DC, games, consoles, controllers all different kinds of games incl. Nintendo xbox etc. n a lot of newer n almost brand new dvds n shudder originals! so i once again enjoyed my visit n got a few bonus items i wasnt expecting!...lots of newer blurays..a lot..and DVD. Etc. They put your discs in the machines to be sure they are not scratched for our piece of mind. But their collection is well protected and taken care of here. I havent had an issue yet! N bring your mask for the time being plz.Call ahead if you have some specific items ur searching for to be sure, if ur traveling 15 minutes or more>> they will check on the spot over the phone for you to verify whether they have it or youd like to be notified n leave ur number..or put it on hold for 24 hours. Good place to go for cheap movies and video games. I would say the stuff you buy works about 80% of the time. Just remember to always keep your receipt. Also not a great place to bring your kids since the whole building smells like pot. Also theres this guy called Brother Charles that is occasionally spotted in here. He has this scheme where he has you buy candy from h and he claims the money is going towards charity. Just know that this man is not afraid to approach children and shake their hand. Overall a good place.

I have been going to this place for a while now and while they do have a good deal on movies. They could give a better discount on the games here which are used games. But overall its a ok place if your looking for cheap and decent movies.

Its OK, has rows and rows of media to consider. Sometimes I find a rare DVD thats no longer in distribution. Not really much on music here, maybe boxed sets. Good place to find titles and devices for old gaming platforms. Some gently used tech devices of various purposes here too. The pricing seems a little on the high side, especially when you can probably get everything on the internet these days. In fact, sometimes I wonder, with all the streaming and other online services, plus the extensive after-market for all this stuff online and at flea markets, thrift shops and rummage sales, why arent the prices here even cheaper?

Casey and Clerks are Friendly, courteous and they have a great process and prices. Relaxing store to shop in. After getting home with my purchase, I thought the clerk had made a mistake with the transaction. Casey said she’d check into it for me. The next day she explained how she checked and gave me more details about it and said there was no error on their part. With her details I found out I had made the mistake.Their process for researching my question was thorough and courteous.

Fantastic selection, wonderful atmosphere, and some of the best customer service workers Ive ever met. They even helped me for over two hours when my car was accidentally towed when it shouldnt have been! Thats what I call incredible commitment to their customers.

I love this place Im a movie collector, it just so many movies to pick from old and new DVDs and Blu Rays. They also sell games and gaming systems and t.vs and lots of other stuff. The plus side is you can sell your movies and games and gaming systems and tablets etc... if they all are in good condition for a quick buck. Dont take my word go check them out your self and see you want be disappointed.

Almost Friendly Staff.... I was there after lunch so maybe their digestion was bothering them.... Brought in New Condition DVDs..... Got $0.50 Each.... They seemed like they were doing me a favor by burning me in order to make a huge profit......The lesson learned is that DVDs are only worth $0.50, note to self & others try to dicker & talk down these modern day pirates since we know what they had to spend, plus overhead.

Mega Media Xchange has somewhat of a limited selection of games and movies however, their exchange rates for items, in my opinion, are very nice.

Wish they would update their hours aside from finding out when you arrive and the door is locked.

The information age is taking over, and this store prices higher than eBay and Amazon. After browsing here I went on eBay and bought several games, and some accessories for much cheaper. Staff was not warm at all. Local stores are a dying craft so I hope they make it

There was a woman behind the desk which seemed to have some authority that argued with me when all I wanted was an exchange for defective movie that they sold me 2 days earlier. She did not apologize for my hassle. Just said that it is a gamble when buying used. Parking is a problem. Lot is shared with another business and very crowded. Employee I talked to thought I could use gift card/store credit at other locations which is false.

This is a cool place. Lots of different stuff in stock. Very spacious and welcoming, and you can usually find whatever youre looking for.

The customer service was horrible. They treated us as if we were a lower class of people selling good to get drugs. They had three supervisors on the floor and the line was backed up for 1 hour. We dropper our items off on Friday and they supposedly misplaced our DVDs they wanted to purchase, but the came up found on Sunday. Brookfield store was three times better.

Everytime I stop in here I find something I want, great prices and an always changing selection. The staff is pretty awesome too.

Beyond displeased and if I could give negative 100 stars, I would. I purchased Revenge for N64 from this Mega Media Xchange shortly before Christmas 2018. Upon purchasing the item, I made a point of asking the cashier girl with the wild colored hair dye what the return policy is. All she stated was, and I quote, You actually have a lot longer to return items because of the Christmas holiday. Ordinarily, its only 7 days but because of the Christmas holiday, we give you a lot longer to return items. Naturally, I was elated with this news because I dont patronize retailers that dont allow you your money back for defective items. The cashier girl went on to add directly after that, But we never really have issues with our games being defective because we take the time to play them and test them out before selling them. This of course added to my comfort in making my first purchase from this retailer. So I take the game home that night, play it and what do you want to guess happened? It played well for about 20 minutes before it started malfunctioning like crazy with the picture going out of sync and screwing up, music going out of sync and screwing up and the whole wrestling match being at this jagged-like standstill position, the controller not being able to move anything. I turned it off and played it the next day for about 15 minutes with my roommate before the same thing transpired with the game. After only 4 days, I went back to Mega Media Xchange and tried to return the item for my money back. I got the same lady with the wild colored hair dye assisting me. She stated, and I quote, Theres a no money back policy. You can only have a store credit or a different game. When I tried to explain to her that this little detail was completely omitted from her account of the stores return policy when I initially inquired about it, she just kept repeating herself, No money back return policy. She then pointed at the bottom of my receipt where it reads in little teeny tiny writing No money back return policy. Now why would they put that on a receipt and in teeny tiny writing at that when you receive a receipt after purchase?! Very slimy business tactics. When your salespeople are deceptive and dishonest about the upkeep of your merchandise and omit key information about your return policies in order to try to get your money, you shouldnt be in business. My guess is that because they sell secondhand games and its more likely their merchandise will be defective, a no money back policy that isnt properly revealed to their customers is the best way to stay in the money.

It has almost every media out there. NES games to PS4 games, it even sells cabling for old consoles like the NES, SNES, and Genesis. Fair prices too, usually everything sells just as much as it would online. The movies and CDs are very cheap and while we may have moved away from the physical media age you can find great deals here if you want to own the media you love

CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE SUCKKKSSSSSS! return policy is stupid as well... once you have the DVD your stuck with it! .... I bought a Playstation 2 game and they told me that it would work for PS3 .... THEY LIED!I also bought a poster from there. I ASKED THEM if I could get a different poster because the one they had hanging up was the one my bf really wanted. The poster I had still had the tag on was never opened & they said they couldnt do.... when all they had to do was swap out the posters & give me the one I really wanted... but that seemed like too much work for them! They are very rude & disrespectful! They dont care about their job all they care about is getting a paycheck!

I like the fact they buy and sell vintage game systems, but their service has sucked on more than one occasion. They prioritize people calling on the phone over the customer standing right in front every of them (just like Gamestop Ive been to) . I was checking out once and the phone rang. The guy spent well over 5 minutes on the phone checking prices for someone.The last time I went I stood in line to check out. I was completely ignored. I spoke up and they said theyll be with me in a minute. A few go by. Someone comes ready to help. Literally looks past me at the person behind me and says hes ready to help them. I just left. I dont want to give them my money that badly. Theres an internet full of cheaper options.
