Im not one to be extreme, but I would never hire this moving company again or recommend them to anyone. They damaged multiple pieces of our furniture. After the move was complete, I noticed the movers arranged the furniture in an odd fashion in our house, like facing backwards up against walls. I realized later it was because they knew they had damaged our furniture and didn’t want me to see it until after they had left. With the way the furniture was arranged, there was no way I would have been able to go around and properly survey the condition of these pieces of furniture, and they 100% knew that. So shady.Then as they were leaving, they informed me for the first time that there was a credit card charge of over $30 if I chose to use a card to pay for the move. Otherwise, I could pay with a check and wouldn’t be charged the fee. There was no indication of this “policy” mentioned to me prior to moving. Additionally, their website stated that the move could be paid for with cash, credit or debit. The website mentioned nothing about a credit card fee. Interesting how this “fee” was sprung on me right after the move was completed, when I could not locate my checkbook because it’s 2021 and my checkbook is packed away in a box. They also charged us for “packing materials” that they used – i.e. tape to tape the furniture drawers closed. This was also not mentioned anywhere in their company policy or stated to me beforehand or included on the quote. The tape they used ripped off wood stain from several pieces of furniture so do not expect their packing materials to be of quality.I called the company after the movers departed and left several messages. I also texted them. No response. I sent an email and heard back from AJ that their phone had not been working. I appreciated that he emailed me back right away and agreed to refund the credit card fee and the packing material fee, however, after three weeks, I still have not been issued a refund and in the past several days AJ has not responded to my follow up emails. I’ve never reported an “organization” to the Better Business Bureau or disputed charges with my credit card company before but I guess there’s a first time for everything because thats my next step.

Dennis the supervisor and his helper were great. Made me feel really comfortable and I trusted them 100% with my items. Had everything they needed to pack my stuff. Will recommend and use in the future! So happy I had them help me versus other options.

New Age Movers was great! They communicated the entire time and were very sensitive and understanding to my situation. Dennis was assertive and a pleasure to work with! He definitely knew how to maneuver all my stuff to maximize space! AJ demonstrated great customer service and definitely values his customers and their opinions!Will definitely use them again!

Absolutely Awful! NEVER use this company! The movers never showed up!!! AJ - the owner - is a disgraceful person. He claimed he would show up himself to help with the move, then did not communicate any further and nobody called or showed up for the rest of the day. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these terrible people!

I started the process with Kevin in sales. Kevin and worked with me to get an out of state move completed. They went above and beyond to meet an aggressive deadline for an emergency move! He was extremely professional and kept in good communication! He assigned Dennis and Wilfredo perform the move for us. They contacted me the day of the move to let me know they were on there way. They showed up right on time and were VERY polite professional. They went above and beyond the call of duty to assist with a unique move! They took great acre of our stuff when moving it and even made multiple stops for us! They are both VERY hard workers and appreciate everything they did! I strongly recommend them for anything you need!

This is the worst moving company to hire. They like to use the smaller of the two moving trucks they own to charge you more in the end. (Multiple truck runs). I would know, I worked at New Age. The co-owner Michael is greedy and spiteful. He screws people over.He doesnt pay his movers when they quit. I still have not been paid for my work months later.

OMG! New Age Moving was a lifesaver! As an over-protective father, I needed to find someone at the last minute to move my 26 year old daughter. My wife had broken her hip which required emergency surgery and prevented me from moving my daughter myself from Milwaukee to Cleveland. The move had been planned for months. While my wife had surgery, my son and I contacted more than a dozen potential movers (5 days before our planned move). It was a night and day difference between Mike/ New Age and all others. Its Mikes business! Its personal to him and he takes pride in the quality of hid service. He was very responsive and found him extremely credible and responsive. Hired New Age to help pack a three-bedroom house with finished basement. AJ and his team arrived on time and were incredibly courteous and professional. Within three hours, they were able to pack an entire basement, kitchen, and bedrooms. Made the move so much easier and less stressful. In addition to helping pack, AJ also returned the next day to haul away junk and unwanted items from the house, even offering to help with a move-out clean. Both jobs were done expediently and were a great value. Highly recommend!

Needed a stacked washer drier unit moved from one senior living facility to the next, waaay to heavy for us to move. 2 gentlemen were there, Dennis & Luis,, willing & able to move while following all guidelines for COVID safety & abiding by rules set by both senior facilities. Cooperated with both maintenance workers & family members. Although pricier than I was quoted, still cheaper than competitors.

New Age moved my elderly Mother this week and the move went so smooth. The movers, M & R, were professional and respectful to her. All her belongings arrived safe. It snowed the night before and the distance from the truck to her condo was very long but they used there time very well. I would highly recommend New Age Moving Company.

Their estimates are very honest and accurate. Take the time to determine an accurate box count and size to tell them along with the rest of items requiring moving. A quote can be done over the phone or on their website. Hours to request estimates stay later than 5 pm. They use a huge moving vehicle no matter the size of the move so the money is well spent by the customer. A $100 reservation credit is given to those who book a move with them to apply towards the final cost. Their moving crew is professional and asks often when certain things will need to be moved into the vehicle for organization. If there is a tight deadline, they promptly reach out to ask how the move can work, and if they dont think they can fit that timeline then they will call the customer and wait until they get called back by the so your belongings will stay safe. In the event there are any issues along the way with the moving process as a whole, they promptly reach out and apologize right away and strive to make it right instead of waiting to fix it after the whole move is done.Any questions on items being moved they promptly ask you about. To save on the overall move cost at the end, pack items yourself, get your own mattress covers, and wrap legs of items and TVs with packing wrapping. They are willing to unpack everything if it becomes dark as long as there are lights around the residence moving into.One thing to keep in mind is to ask what it will cost for driving the items if it will include from their office or your old residence. There is also a tax on the whole move that will need to be clarified before booking the move. Overall, having two movers I had was a great experience with them doing a combination of two lifting, one, and using durable metal dollies. They are including a trial period at this time a third mover for free as a nice bonus. During the day of my move, on the way out taking some items, another resident requested the movers contact information to look into a future move due to their large vehicle with an automated lift instead of rolling items up a long ramp. As a family-owned business for moving, it ensures a more friendly experience and honesty at all points throughout the process.

They came loaded the truck in a timely matter. They unloaded quickly and was very careful with my things. They left my things very organized in the space i wanted my furniture and boxes. I highly recommend them to family and friends.

Not looking at facts (actual vs estimate time differing hundreds of dollars, staff in training that wasn’t strong enough to move item back upstairs, needing help from homeowner on stairs) and focusing on hearsay assumptions that a non issue of gender instead of real issue of staff that couldn’t perform the task—-will sink a business.

They arrived on time, I was late actually. They did everything and beyond expected.

Initially, I gave a smaller item list when booked. Day of the move, I had almost double amount of items... The guys got to work and stayed later than I was scheduled.Money well spent & Hard working crew! Will be hiring again for any future moves.

The way furniture was arranged in the POD could have been better. And my brand new couch got torn in the process, so not happy about that at all.I noted this on July 9, and I didnt actually get to contact the company until later on 8/9. Things were kind of crazy with my move. They got back to me on 8/15 and asked for a photo and receipt for the couch, and then no contact until today 9/12.They said they couldnt do anything since I had waited too long and too many hand could have touched the couch from the time it got loaded into the POD until my initial noting of the issue on 8/9. I pointed it out to the mover when it happened, but no response really.And I just want to note that the movers were nice people, but the companys lack of attention to this matter is not acceptable. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Moving finally made easy. I have moved far too many times, I finally found a company that did nothing but make this a breeze for me, pricing and timing. If needed, I will use them again and recommend them to anyone!

We booked New Age Moving about a month in advance. The owner was very nice on the phone, but its the people he hired who really make the difference. We had Shaun and Andy (sorry if I misspell any names, I forgot to confirm that before they left) who were awesome from the time they arrived. We knew they were moving someone else that morning when we booked and they were a little late (nothing that we werent expecting since we knew wed be second) and they were very apologetic, this is not something that normally happens with them. They had Quan and Reese (again, sorry if thats misspelled) join them with another truck. We were quoted with the expectation of needing to take two trips, but Quan and Reese brought a second truck so we only had to do one. They all helped out and were so nice, my husband and I felt like weve known them all for a long time. They took incredible care of all of our stuff and you could tell that the service they provide is of the utmost importance to them. I could go on and on about how happy we were with this company and these men, but Ill just say that Im a customer for life. Anytime I need something moved, Im only calling New Age Moving.

Had a move scheduled for weeks in advance, and on the morning of the move, they texted me that a crew called out. They then told me that they would likely be ready at 1pm, at 2:30 still no show, then maybe not until 4 or 5pm. Totally not trust worthy or professional people and business!!! What a nightmare!!

They agreed to move my furniture and said they would send over proof of insurance before the move and i called them numerous times and eventually just stopped responding or answering the phone and i still dont have proof of insurance or a guarantee they will even show up on the agreed date.

Be careful. If it wasnt for the 2 gentlemen that physically moved me handling my situation with calmness, understanding and respect, I would have completely come undone on my moving day.However, I originally spoke with Michael who said he was the owner. We talked explicitly about what was being moved and where. I have a 3 bedroom house with basement and garage. I was moving 26 minutes away and also had few items going to storage near new address. I was quoted approximately 6 hrs.My issue is not providing me with the expectation that I would have to make 2 trips because the big trucks were not available. I didnt figure this out till my big stuff was loaded on a 17ft truck. Convenient for company getting paid by the hour! When I called to question the truck, multiple trip issue I was told it was really busy and that was all they had and it didnt happen that often. In same breath he said it happened a month ago. I did receive a credit for travel time, but feel like I was deceived.I am moving again in the next 6 months, guess business is going so well return customers arent a concern. Lessoned learned.
