I have always felt so welcomed by staff that I would go so far as to call them my local heroes. They think whatever music you like is cool and never judge your music taste. Always willing to help and keep an eye out for any rare albums you are looking for.

As always, the place to go for rare finds and friendly owners. Happened to wander in at the end of RSD, not knowing it was RSD. Found a rare Sublime, but did not get back in time to secure (my fault). However, have gone back twice and picked up 8 or 9 good CDs, Punk, Jazz, Blues and Metal. Always a good variety.

Heres how my visit to Rush-Mor went last night... 17 year old sons only birthday request was to go to a record store. It was a bit of a last minute trip because we were waiting for his uncle to get off work and join us so I skimmed Yelp (it was the first thing to show up on my google search) for the best stores in Milwaukee. It said Rush-Mor was open until 7 or 8 - cant remember which right now.We head out and get there to find they had locked the doors and that they closed at 6pm. Someone opens up the door, we mention its my sons birthday, and they immediately let us in.Not only did they allow us to browse, they were super nice and helpful and even gave my son a sweet t-shirt for his birthday.Im not going to lie, I thought about this interaction all night and felt so good that my son got to have a great experience with kind and generous folks like these.Rush-Mor is now our go-to shop for all things music.

Honest and knowledgeable man working here alone. Very small store and we were satisfied but you had to pull the customer service out of him initially. We were 1st time customers and he didnt greet us or even look at us and offered no help until prodded. Once prodded he was great.

A very wide selection, lots of CDs and vinyl priced fairly. Staff members were knowledgeable, but not pushy about anything. Store is certainly safe, enforcing social distancing, patron limits, hand sanitizer upon arrival, and of course masks. I would most definitely come again!

Picked up some great vinyl... Older Lagwagon, Op Ivy, some beastie boys etc. Very nice selection and great staff willing to help you find what you need and mix in a conversation like real people use to do back in the day. Will make this my new bad habit place.

I have been seriously collecting for a little over 8 years now and will never continuously support a different shop as long as I live in or near Milwaukee. Dan & the rest of the guys at Rush-Mor are simply the best. Great selection of rock & metal but they have a bit of everything!

Great little shop for all your vinyl needs and I loved the friendliness of the staff! If Im ever in the area again this will definitely be on my list of places to visit.

Great music shop in Bay View. The customer service and quality of consumer experience is great. They have been a staple in the Bay View area for a very long time and are part of the fabric of this community. Check it out. Me personally I have been coming here for the last 15 years or so, if not longer.

Cant say enough good things about Rush-Mor, its everything a record store should be. Dan and Bill go out of their way to find what you want, it has that great record store smell, an awesome selection, good prices, people who know music, people who like to talk music and a cool vibe. I am so glad they were able to survive the recession and the turning wave in the music industry. This place is the blue print for what all good record shops should be.

Rush-Mor has been around for a very long time, as one of the Bay View neighborhoods local businesses. Rush-Mor has a cozy atmosphere that reminds one of the record store in the movie Hi Fidelity. Many years ago I special ordered Blue Niles Hats and Walk Across the Rooftops Compact Discs. Recently I special ordered a Siouxsie and the Banshees CD and a DVD, that I would have been unlikely to find anywhere else. I like this convenience because I am not one to shop on-line, and in fact barely find time to shop at all. I am thankful that there are still a few boutiques where one can get this kind of personal attention - in a bricks and mortar store - where one can go to find something other than the current releases.
