I had a bad experience before so I was a little apprehensive about going to a different location but knew I had to get this done she was very considerate honest and just a very good person the staff was beautiful always smiling and always made me feel comfortable so I would truly recommend this office to everyone and I look forward to seeing them again. So I’ve had ingrown toenails my whole life my feet have always hurt I heard about Dr. Milkie and Michell and how kind him and his team was. So I made an appointment the best thing I ever did on March 23 I went into the office to have the procedure done it was the most painless, quick and easy thing I’ve ever had done. 24 hours after I am wearing shoes, looser fitting in the toes just so I don’t put pressure on them for two weeks but, I have absolutely no pain whatsoever I did take ibuprofen for about a day just because I was afraid that it may hurt but only 200 mg over the counter a very small amount I am so happy I got this done and if I had more ingrown toenails he will take them out the picture is gross but WOW

I typically see Dr. C for the care of my feet and a Lasanya for my nail trimming. Both her and the doctor are quite wonderful and my feet have never looked healthier! Deja has been very sweet in assisting my mother in getting diabetic shoes. Front desk is always gleaming and happy to assist in any questions I may have. Melanie the nurse is also very nice and personable. Thank you Milwaukee foot!

Staff was very friendly. They gave me a brace for my foot that didnt do anything but cut the circulation off- they really didnt help adjusting the brace at all. They did get me in quickly,not much waiting. Overall it was a good to ok experience. Just wish the brace wasnt so small and uncomfortable. 2 weeks in,and pain in foot is exactly the same- painful.

I called late on a Tues afternoon and was surprisingly set up with an appointment for that Thurs morning. I arrived early being that I was a new patient, but had virtually no wait time as they checked me in right away and i was seen right after that. The tech and foot specialist were friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I had my procedure done and was given excellent post care instructions along with a follow up appointment before leaving the office. The whole staff was A1 from start to finish. I would definitely recommend this office to friends and family. Dr C is exceptional!!

I made it 56 years without a toe problem and then BAM….I had one! Out of the blue, I had a painful ingrown toenail and after a few weeks, I knew it wasn’t going to get better.I’m not gonna’ lie, thinking about possibly having to get my toe numbed up with an injection had me pretty nervous. However, from the moment I walked into Milwaukee Foot & Ankle Specialists, I was given a warm greeting from the receptionist and from the doctor’s assistant, Tiffany; I knew I was in the right place and I started to relax a bit.Then Dr Milkie came in; he was friendly, professional and has a great “bed-side” manner. He examined my toe, knew right away what the problem was and how to treat it. He explained the procedure I needed and made me better right then and there. The thing I feared the most, a toe injection, turned out to be nothing at all, as Dr Milkie is an absolute whiz at giving a comfortable numbing experience. Before I knew it, I was done and Dr M and Tiffany had my toe wrapped up and I was on my way.I can’t thank them enough and I am so happy that I now have a fantastic place to go, if I should have a toe/foot issue ever again!

I have been treated for two separate foot issues by Dr. Chockalingam that required surgery. She is absolutely amazing! Both surgeries went perfectly, and I could not be happier. I have been going to Milwaukee Foot and es Ankle for a few years now and the service has never changed. Everyone is always so sweet and customer friendly. My doctor always sits down with me and answers all my questions without making me feel like she has 1 foot in and 1 foot out the door. Never again will I go go another podiatry, everyone here is wonderful, big big thank you to Dr Sheela and Deja who assisted addressing my bunion pain and I left with a splint which helped so much. Everytime I walk in, I am always politely greeted by the ladies in the front. The office manager (can’t remember her name) is always very helpful in explaining any additional question I may have and getting a message to the doctor when I need it, again, I am high appreciation of this office!

I truly had an amazing experience with Dr. C and Michelle. I felt at ease and comfortable. I sought treatment for ingrown toenails and plantar fasciitis. Dr. C and Michelle took out my ingrown toenails... such relief in my toe! I also had questions about a callus developing on my foot. Dr. C explained that a callus is completely normal and prescribed a wonderful cream to apply to my feet to soften the skin. Dr. C and Michelle explained everything to me in great detail and I was put on a healing path to healthy, soft, painless feet.

If you have toenails and you don’t want to wear open toed shoes because of trauma to them or whatever the reason you need to come to Milwaukee foot and ankle specialists. There is a Keryflex tech that works there by the name of Lasonya. She is EXCEPTIONAL. They have had other techs work there but she is highly skilled and passionate about the end result. She also has great bedside manner and she is always smiling and upbeat. She brings me so much joy during my visits. Thank you Lasonya for allowing me to wear open toed shoes during the summer and swim without being paranoid about my feet. She is amazing and I hope she never leaves!

Nearly three months ago, I had the distinct DISpleasure of having an appointment with Dr Mielkie at Milwaukee Foot and Ankle Specialists. The purpose of my visit was 4-fold: 1) To get help and treatment for my diabetes foot neuropathy; 2) To order shoes provided through Medicare to help alleviate my diabetic foot pain; 3) To get treatment and relief for my hammer toes which are becoming more and more painful and debilitating; and 4) Of lesser importance, to determine the cause and potential treatment of my darkened toenails. I was with Dr. Milkie for approximately 4 minutes, during which time he briefly looked at the 2 xrays that his nurse had taken of my feet. A summary of his responses follows:1) He said I probably have diabetic neuropathy (which I was aware of, hence the appointment-see 1 above) and theres really nothing he could do about it. He told me gabapentin may help, but he didnt want to give me a prescription because he didnt know what medications I was on. (Apparently he did not read the list of prescriptions I was required to give in my history.) He told me to ask my family doctor for the prescription. She was incredulous as she was the reason I sought a podiatrist in the first place!2) His nurse measured my feet (with a standard $50 Brannock Device) to order the shoes. In the 2 weeks following my appointment,, the office contacted me on THREE separate occasions to ask for the name of my doctor and 3 times I gave them her name. It is now nearly 3 months later and I have yet to receive the shoes. When I asked her, my family doctor told me that she has never been contacted by Dr Milkie or his office.3) After glancing at my x-rays he announced that there was nothing wrong with my feet--despite the fact that both my feet and the x-rays clearly show that some 9f my toes cross over each other!4) He informed me that my dark toe nails will always remain that color. (Interestingly, in the months since my visit, my toenails have grown and the new growth is quite normal in color and texture.)It is difficult for me to believe that the Dr Milkie that I interacted with is the same one who is the subject of the glowing reviews he has received.

Great staff and overall great experience. I recommend this place to anyone whos having complications with their feet.

We had a great experience here today! It was our first visit for my 7 year old and all of the staff was suoer friendly. I am so pleased I found this office for my foot care. I was limping due to pain in my heal- after my first treatment with Dr. Meier, that pain subsided. I came to my grandmothers apointment today, the nurse was AMAZING! She explained everything to her and was patient even when asked to repeat herself! I feel confident that she is being taken care of!

I have never had an experience where simple things took so much effort and so many errors. From it taking literally a week to get an order for an MRI that confirmed a fracture, having the order sent and it being the wrong order, having it resent, having a PT order only written on a PT pad for a specific rehab and not given the CHOICE of where I wanted to go, to calling and requesting my order faxed to me (had to do this three times and it still wasn’t faxed to me directly), to not being able to get one single prescription sent to my pharmacy when they said they did (twice). am no longer using your office. Please share this with your doctors so they know what is gong on. I saw Drs. Fatima and Milkie and thought they were great but unfortunately the staff failed on so many levels.As a patient advocate myself, I am so disappointed that this is how your patients are served.

Horrible customer service trying to make an appointment. appt center failed and billing dept failed.They repeatedly said my insurance was not accepted and my insurance repeatedly told me it was. I took it upon myself to make a three way call between my ins and Milw foot and Ankle to clarify problem. The first receptionist/appt maker stated she was too busy for a three way call with my insurance to clarify that they are in network (even tho i DID ALL the work in connecting everyone) the second appt setter, Ethan, stated he “could not go on the website to change what insurance they take. And refused to get me to a live billing person, while i had the third party already on the line and instead gave us their voicemail.Guess what! I Am in network ! Turns out Milwaukee Foot and Ankle appointment takers and billing failed to look up the providing network whithin my insurance. How did I find out THEIR mistake? By calling a different podiatrist whos first question was...“What is the providing network for your insurance company. “ 3 hours wasted this morning because their staff not only is not doing their job but, were arrogant and persistent with NOT helping me.Dr. Milke you own this company ( they said) so i wonder how much business you are loosing with a staff so uneducated and unhelpful.And Dr. Fatima i wonder how many patients you have lost due to their unprofessionalism.

Brief summary:Dr. Milkie, nurses, reception staff, and surgery experience= 5 starsBilling experience= 2 starsDr. Milkie performed bunion surgery on both feet about two years ago- I couldnt engage in my usual exercises or even walk for long periods of time without some serious pain. I cant compare my surgery experience to other clinics since this was the only surgery Ive ever had, but since my feet healed (and with the support of orthotics), Ive been able to go back to activities that I hadnt been able to do for years. I now hike 10+ miles every weekend and can run and jump at the gym without pain! The shape of my feet are relatively normal again so I can even fit into sandals comfortably. Dr. Milkie was friendly and patient with my questions when I came in for pre- and post-op check-ups. The nurses and reception staff were also really nice, patient, and helpful. They were great.Billing was kind of the opposite experience, and maybe because it seems like its a really busy clinic that might be under-staffed. I had to do way more work than I should have to make sure that my procedure was billed correctly, and with a lot of help from my insurance company- I spent several hours total on calls back and forth over several months. My recollection of interactions with billing staff were not so great, despite my efforts to be polite and patient. One person in particular, a woman I spoke with most times I called, was brusque and didnt seem to have any customer service training, or else was overworked and stressed to the point where she couldnt spare the energy to be courteous. My issues did get resolved after some time and effort, and perhaps things have improved since 2016. I didnt choose the clinic for their excellence in billing, though; I chose it to get help for my foot pain, and given that Im not in pain anymore, Id have to say Im a happy customer!

I have had four foot surgeries at Milwaukee Foot Specialists. All were done by Dr. Milkie. Each surgery went very well and I have gained increased use of my feet and more importantly the absense of pain that made it difficult to walk. Dr. Milkie is a wonderful doctor. He makes you feel at ease and is very thorough addressing anything my feet need. The other doctors in the practise are also great as well as the nurses. Ive gone to Milwaukee Foot Specialists for over 10 years and have been very happy with the service I have gotten from the doctors, the nurses, and the reception staff. I have also recommended them to about three other people who were also satisfied with the service they received.

Poor service I will never go back here. The ball of my foot was fractured,and very painful. This doctor handmade a little cushion with the ball part left out, and sent me on my way never addressing the pain. I work on my feet 98% of the time. Just awful experience so Im here now at another foot doctor
