Received replaced zippers on 2 sleeping bags. Wow...not good crafting. The zipper has since come apart on 2 day camping. All the sewing alongside zippers were not straight. Will be contacting store to see if any possibility of doing a good job as expected for 100 dollars.

Beckel Canvas Products has been and continues to be a harder-working and wildly-talented local treasure that the region’s various “makers.” They begin with skilled workers taking solid raw materials to be diligently fashioned and crafted to their proven designs or yours and the customized end result will stand up well to heavy use over long swathes of time to heavy use. These items are not the iterated self-inflating delusions of design-thinking propping up undeserved prices; if anything, they are priced lower than the value you’ll find they have. Support them with all you’ve got.

Great place to get canvas wall tent repair. They replaced main door zipper and stove pipe insert at a very reasonable price. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Takes some time to get it done but worth it for a quality job.

Very quality repair work on our 1930s canvas tent. They even got the tent in and repaired it in under a week! They also sell/make a variety of customizable canvas tents. A true unique Portland small business.

Had a tent repaired here, quality work at a fair price, only deducting a star because while I stated I wasnt in a big hurry, I wasnt expecting my repair to keep getting pushed back until I called to follow up almost 4 months later. A somewhat more proactive approach on their part (a 5 minute phone call asking hey, do you mind waiting a touch longer, had a bunch of emergency repairs come in or similar) would have put it in a solid 5 star review

Best wall tents and luggage

Friendly place. Lots of canvas around. There to get repairs done to my canvas floored tent--zippers replaced, re-screening, re-stitch corners. Glad I found this shop.
