Could spend hours looking for that hard tti find gem. Always a fun trip.
Got a beautiful chair table combo, reasonably priced, just needs a little stain. Make sure you give yourself enough time there is so much to look at. And a wonderful old fashioned soda fountain in back!
An amazing collection with an even better staff! It was my first visit today but definitely wont be my last!
There is no shortage of vintage and thrift stores in the Portland area, but Main Street collectors was a particularly nice one. Theres a small soda fountain in the back that serve sandwiches and shakes. We didnt have anything to eat, but will be back to grab some food and check out all of the awesome knick knacks up for sale
This store is so fun to shop! They are very nice people & the store has so many things of interest & priced very well!
Workers do not wear masks, only face Shields they dont even bother flipping down. Long waiting times to check out, had to wait 10 minutes+ with no one ahead of me. Very very hot inside the store. Not wheelchair accessible at all.
Wonderful old timey soda fountain. Amazing sandwiches, floats, malts and milkshakes. The stuff in the displays are pretty cool too but I dont collect stuff. The food is what keeps me coming back. Theyre doggy friendly, which is a big deal for me. I love eating here and walking around the store looking at the displays with my milkshake. I love it here
Cool eclectic collection of antiques and some junk, overall a funky little joint that we love .
This place is TOO COOL! I loved seeing all of the different booths, all selling different things! From Star Wars, to anime, to old military gear, to old cameras, to coins, to magazines, to beer advertisements, to collectors dishes, if theres something collectible, this place would be a good place to start looking for it. Just be sure to set aside some time, because there is so much stuff, that youll likely get sucked into checking everything out. I walked in, not knowing what to expect and ended up buying an old Weird Tales magazine and framed it. I will definitely be going back when I have some time to kill.
Had some LICORICE ICECREAM.IT WAS GREAT.
I had my first ever malt milkshake, and it was really good
Had ice cream at the soda fountain just like 40 years ago. Nice stop after Milwaukie Farmers Market.
I just shopped but I had a really good time!! theres all kinds of things something that everybody can relate to from the childhood. The woman at the counter is really friendly and will be helpful! Went to by myself but I felt like I had taken a friend. Friendly service friendly customers just all around nice place to go and yes there is a soda shop and theres a store JFK sat.
I felt like I stepped back to the early 60s, when I was a kid, Old fashioned soda fountain, in a antique setting. A great old Americana store, filled with treasures of yesterday past. In the city of Milwaukee, Oregon. I had a bandana split, really great, prepared by Colton, a really sharp and very entertaining and awesome employee, prices fairly cheap. Great atmosphere, in a sleepy old beautiful town.
Huge variety of retro items. Great customer service.
Great spot with multiple vendors lots of different things to get from one spot from antiques to toys.and a nice place to get a sandwich.
They have sooooo much stuff, and the prices are pretty reasonable! The staff is really nice.
Best place in Milwaukee!.
Ever wanted a milkshake while thrifting? This is the place.
Wonderful antiques to be found beautiful jewelry at reasonable prices Sterling semi-precious stones turn of the century pieces
Owner doesnt wear a mask, only a shield, and she doesnt even wear this when making food... There also seems to be no other employees so if you do try to purchase something, prepare to wait a long time.
Super cool place, we will definitely tell others about and be back ourselves! amazing shakes, my wife had an almond/amaretto shake she said was the best shake shes had in her life and was stoked to enjoy it in the same stool John F Kennedy once sat in! check it out!
Great prices on a variety of ice cream flavors and amazing milkshakes made the old fashioned way. Good homemade sandwiches made to order and a mall full of everything you can imagine. Supporting this local family business is more important now than ever!
Bought Carmel corn with cashews in a bag and was beyond outdated. Had to throw away. Save your money and dont make a purchase.
Good location. Love the old soda fountain/lunch counter area in the back. The place is mostly full of new and collectible toys, comics, Matchbox cars, etc. Aside from that, theres vintage stuff with minimal amount of antiques.
Fun place for real hand made sodas so good. I love looking at the cases of collectibles. The staff is extremely helpful.
Always enjoy going regardless of what else is going on.
Its was a blast from the past liked it alot
The mall is really a shoppers paradise. The various brands that you get at one place just makes it the best. During sales it becomes a paradise, you need a vehicle to move around,it’s so Massive. Very friendly and helpful. The workers greeted me very warmly and were eager in helping me find what I was looking for. My experience there was a happy one. Loved the sales, lots to choose from.
Pretty cool stuff! Like the antique toys!
Cool antique shop! It could use some dusting & organizing.
Quaint and well supplied. Vendors are unique and have a wide variety of collectibles.
I used to love this store, but was disappointed to see yesterday not one single associate with a mask, and not even a posted suggestion for customers to wear them. You should not be serving food and beverages with 0 precautions. Covid is still very real and there was absolutely no concern at all.
Great sandwich and milkshake. Love the selection of everything.
Cool old style malt shop really good chocolate peanut butter milk shake
Love this place... always friendly and the vendors have very good prices on their stuff. Serious sellers...
Food was tasty and filling. I loved my generously filled ice cream cone. The knick knacks were great and I spent an hour just browsing. 😁. Found some perfect gifts for my husband. All in all a great shop.
Great selection, great prices, and they have a soda fountain!
Very great milkshakes and an awesome store! The guy that made my milkshake is super funny and sweet too!
Ive been eating here for years. Great little soda foundation hidden in the antiques. They make yummy potato salad from scratch. I love the old school cherry coke. Fresh baked cookies. Great sandwiches. All things good here.
We always find the coolest stuff here
A cute little shop offering antique and older collectible based toys from what appears to be over the last 30-50 years. A small malt shoppe in the back is delightful and offers a variety of flavors of ice cream and apparently they have sandwiches? I only saw ice cream action while I was there. Id buy the millennium falcon hanging from the ceiling if I were more reckless.
If you love old soda fountains and nostalgia in general - a visit to Main Street Collectors Mall & Soda Fountain is probably warranted. The fountain still has its counter - just like a Woolworths or any drug store in the old days. They serve a bunch of different treats. I loved seeing it.We came for the antique mall - the selection is medium sized. Most things are in cases...so mostly smalls. Not a ton of furniture or clothing. Prices are a little high in most booths, but the selection is worth a peek especially for toys and knick knacks. The staff is friendly here. Parking is on the street - but its easy.
Nothing wrong with the store the bad review is for the $80 ticket I received for parking in Milwaukee. Sorry guys I can not afford to shop at your store ever again.
Myriad of antiques and great boxed lunch.
An collectors paradise with an old fashion soda fountain. Feels like you are stepping back into the 50s. Sodas, floats, and banana splits are all made using traditional methods. Food is cheap (I seriously question how they are profitable), yet delicious. JFK sat in one of the seats which testifies to this places authenticity.Antiques and collectibles are capable of making you stay there for hours reliving the past.
Great place to just go and wander around. There is something for everyone in there!
You can take a walk down memory lane or discover the past. All while enjoying a old fashion chocolate shake, soda or a sandwich that are expertly made by Colton. Its worth it if you are a collector or just browsing. Its well worth the visit. Thank you Colton for the delicious chocolate shake!
It is full of items I like to see or buy, great collector stop.
Not a bad shop, they do have lots to look at and buy. Typical Portland prices and lots of stuff is in cases so you do have to find the person who is working to get the key to the case to look at and to buy but they do have a soda fountain for ice cream shakes and cones so thats pretty cool.
The soda fountain is neat. Its cute in an old timey way, but has actually just been there since the forties and hasnt changed much. As far as items in the store go: they have many vendors with very eclectic styles. There is everything from Super Nintendo games to Victorian furniture.
Great place!
I love this place. Great Soda Fountain. Amazing Macaroni salad. Big sundays, yummy Umpqua Ice cream. An all around great place with some very cool trinkets and antiques. A must try.
Great antiques mall, and the soda fountain is a wonderful and reasonably-priced slice of old-school Americana. Ordered an egg-salad sandwich, and was amazed to watch them make the salad from scratch, on the spot.If you dont mind a massive calorie bomb, their malts are simply perfection.
Wonderful items to look at and buy. But we came in for their great milkshakes and stayed for the wonderful story telling of the server.
Always finding treasures here. I collect ecclectic items. This is one of the local places I like to look. Real soda fountain in the back.
Very cool antique shop, very big too! Many different vendors have their stuff for sale so you never know what youll get, but I guarantee youll see some treasures. They also make excellent milkshakes.
Pretty cool place.. looks like sections of different peoples collections..
Great place been there for years. Wonderful old time Soda, Lunch Counter with very reasonable prices. Been going there for over 60 years
Great shop!! Something for everyone there and bigger then it looks from the outside
Tried to get a treat for my daughter last night. The staff just ignored us, no greeting when we sat down and then the man started helping some other people who came in after us, that he apparently knew by name. Doubt we will return, its too bad, seems like it could be a fun place. We left with an upset child and got a shake elsewhere.
Our soda jerk (Colton) is well on his way to becoming an excellent bartender. He made a great chocolate malt the old fashioned way, and I tipped him off to a few of my old ice cream cocktails to pursue when hes made it at the adult level. His movie trivia knowledge complimented the conversation. The overall experience is worth a visit.
This is one of the coolest, icons in the area! I make it a point to stop in every time Im remotely in the area and always take the time to brouse the entire store. Dozens of independent vendors rent showcase space. It is one of the most diverse collection of colleables and antiques, and a joy. No public restroom, those are 2 blocks away at city hall.
This place suffers from the same issues Ive noted years ago. It is nearly impossible to get anyones attention that works there for help, aside from the nice younger kids that work at the soda fountain, but even they get scolded when trying to help. Even once youve got everything you wanted, you can surely expect a sarcastic remark on what you purchased, especially from the older man that works there. Ive gone there and tried to maintain a positive outlook but the people that run the shop make it a genuinely miserable experience. It is sad that it has been this way for the last 10 years Ive known it. I always hope it changes but it rarely differs.
Nice place, lot of good items in there at decent prices
The food is really good and there is a huge variety of soda, but the benders are all the same. Either its the wizard of oz or action figures or really old stuff from 20s and up. Not only that but the owner is RUDE. I wanted a toy for my son that was there yesterday but was not there today, so I asked her if maybe they pit it somewhere else, she snapped at me and denied and thought my question was absolutely ridiculous.
My husband and I have been in this store many times and made many purchases, however, today my daughter and I were here and ask to use the restroom and was told we had to make a purchase? We left and drove to a restroom because city hall is closed on Saturday. I was under the impression that as long as food is served the restroom should be available. Sure it is not the Hilton. They probably lost a sale. As things were purchased in Selwood after we went to the restroom
Lots of different things to look at. Very helpful customer service
Cool place. Nice people
Rare gem of a place. Fun and always something new to look at. The milkshakes are delicious.
I was waiting for service and the young woman with brown curly hair behind the counter was on her phone texting! She was also very terse and rude. I will never shop here again and I suggest you don’t either!
They have very cool things its a blast from the past every time I go there!
Nice collection of old stuff. Staff really nice. Prices okay. Lunch counter was a real treat!
Fun! Old stuff, good and not so, some really sweet deals if you know what to look for. Collectors might find real treasure! The old fashioned soda fountain serves tasty sandwiches and Real ice cream in many flavors and any forms you can think of. Licorice ice cream and blue Marachinos anyone? lol
The best sandwhiches!!I love this place for a quick bite to eat!!
Interesting items, but you have to really pay attention as there is so much to look at.
Nice shop it has so much. I wish I can buy it all. I go there everytime I am in the area.
Touch of history with an old fashion soda fountain. Great shakes!
I love shopping there!! Staff is great, and lots of great stuff for sale!!
Cute fun place to go but a little expensive for the ice cream
This is an amazing place where you can literally spend hours and still notsee everything. Theres an ice cream bar there too!!! Milkshakes:) the staff is very kind as well!!
They got all the dope hot wheels u know
Fun place to wander around, close to Max line. Lovely old-time fountain & makes a great milkshake!
Best soda shop in Milwaukie, not to mention all the cool vintage stuff they have available
One of my all time favorite places grew up going here check it out if you have never been here before
Love this place! Classic soda fountain in a funky antique store... super fun!
Great selection, well organized for the most part. Too many vintage pins and useless items clutter almost every display case. Expect awkward stares from staff if you are under the age of 50 and have all your teeth. Worth a stroll to say the least.
Good place, ice cream is a bit bland but overall a fun place to go and shop for Antiques
Your bound to find something that interest you here. The young man that works here is charming and can hold conversations all day everyday. Definitely one of my favorite places to hang out, browse the goods, and kill some time. I rate this place UY Scuti.
I love this place!!! But the only problem is it says its opened at 10am.. but I waited till 10:30 sitting outside waiting but still wasnt kpened. One lady ooend on time Everytime!! Need to work on that punctuality
We went here yesterday to get milkshakes and the woman at the counter gave me someone else milkshake which had bananas in it. I told her that I could taste banana in it and she said there was no way that any could have gotten into my shake. I just drank it anyways even though I thought it was gross, only to find at the end there were really bananas in it at the bottom. So I showed it to her and in a sarcastic tone she said is it ok. I never ended up getting my money back or a replacement but will never order anything from here again they are extremely rude and mess up orders.
Looking for used items they have it and the milk shakes are the best.
