What a great experience working with Chris Burgi over at Stevens Marine. Ive been bugging Chris for the last 3 or 4 years asking for quotes on different boats. Finally pulled the trigger this year on an Alumaweld Super Vee with Mercury 115, and 15 Pro Kicker. The boat is absolutely amazing. The service, communication, and professionalism of Chris are top notch! He worked with me every step of the way, and even gave his advice on putting the boat and accessories together. Thanks to Stevens Marine and Chris for our dream boat and great service!

I have a early 90’s Bayliner. I wanted a new motor, chart plotter and a all glass cockpit. I purchased motor and all components through Stevens Marine. Chris was very helpful. After the motor arrived arrived the installation took just 1.5 days. I have a 115 Mercury with a Lowrance cleanly installed. Sonar, chart plotter and all engine data and fuel levels are displayed on the Lowrance. They have complete and expert knowledge of these systems are are 100% ready to support me anytime I need help understanding the system or how to use it or program it. My experience with them was excellent and my boat is now one of the most modern and fastest on the river!

BUYER BEWARE: Stevens Marine sold me a defective motor. I picked up a brand new 2020 150L on Tuesday 8/11/2020 ~$15K. On the first trip out it runs weird, starts blaring alarms, and kicks out multiple error codes. less than 1hr on engine... Due to the fact that motor failed first trip out 24 hours after I brought it home I requested a refund. They refused to refund and will not honor their work. Stay away from these People. Their GM Eric is a piece of work and the sales guy Trent flat up disappears the minute issues happen. Total Rip off artists. Stevens Marine sells defective merchandise, then refuses to refund. If this is what you want in a business transaction this is your place. If you want to not get ripped off and go somewhere else.

My experience with this place was mixed I got friendly, knowledgeable, helpful advice from one of the service guys Tim Miller his attitude is everything youd want from someone your seeking help from. On the other hand the other service counter person was rude, lied to me about the parts he said they dont really sell was stand offish to the point of being combative and really made me feel like my patronage was not welcome, Im really on the fence about if Id ever seek help from this place again I guess I would but Id definitely be more picky about who Id ask help from.

I purchased a boat from Christian Ruscitti with Steven‘a Marine. He was amazing to work with. I had been watching the website for about four years and almost pulled the trigger a few different times but just never committed. One day I noticed a used boat pop up on the website and it was absolutely perfect. I called Steven’s Marine and got a hold of Christian. I live about four hours away so Cristian went through the boat with me over the phone. He was very thorough and upfront with everything on the used boat. I felt very confident talking Cristian and would have purchased it sight unseen. He obviously recommended I take a look before I committed. I made the 4 hour drive to Portland and it was everything Cristian described to me. Cristian had all the paperwork ready by the time I made it to Portland and we were able to you get everything wrapped up very quickly. The boat was absolutely perfect and the experience was top notch. The whole family is loving the boat. I would recommend Steven’s Marine to anyone who asks me about buying a boat. Thank you Steven’s Marine and Christian Ruscitti.

I was happy with my boat purchase from Stevens Marine but since then Ive been blown away by the lack of professionalism in the service area. The boat I bought had twin outboards and shortly after purchase I had water in my fuel. When troubleshooting that issue I realized that my boat on had a single fuel filter/water separator. I reached out to Stevens and we decided I would benefit from adding a second fuel pick up, fuel line and filter separator so both motors had there own. During the off season I drove my boat the nearly 200 miles and had this done. My first trip out after the service was done was our family vacation to Lake Roosevelt, just hours into our trip my boat was over taken by the smell of gasoline. Also the motor attached to the fuel line Stevens added was surging. I began troubleshooting and couldnt find the source. I called Stevens and worked with service on the phone and together we couldnt find the source. So My 10 day trip ended on day 2 and I was headed to Stevens again. Stevens told me this should be a quick repair and Id be able to take the boat the next day. The next day was a Saturday so I called near the end of the day and was told it was a fuel pump. I questioned how a fuel pump on a outboard would spray raw fuel in my bilge. I was sent back to Tacoma without my boat. 3 weeks later I get a call and I was right it wasnt a fuel pump it was the fuel line installed by Stevens had a slice in it back by the fuel tank. I questioned why I had to miss all my summer trips 3 of them now because Stevens didnt check its work. To find this issue Stevens claimed they had to take the entire floor out of my boat. So lets say I was appalled when I received an email from Eric Pedersen basically blaming me for missing all this time using my boat. The service manager actually claims I should have been more educated and repaired there screw up myself on the water. Mind you it took his professional mechanics 3 weeks and replacement of parts not even broken to figure this out. I will attach a copy of his email text below.Hello Terry,Unfortunately most issues are preventable being a fireman I am sure you see this time and again.  That being said human hands assemble these products and all others like them.  It is a constant effort to improve and get better.  Again I am sorry for your down time, owning varying degrees of equipment I understand the disappointment when mechanical items stop working.  That being said I have also invested time into personally rectifying issues in areas where obtaining service is not possible, including the issues of a ruptured fuel tank, line and other trip halting problems most in an offshore setting.  I believe that it is important to invest in understanding of ones equipment, this has saved me many times in the unpredictable offshore environment.  In this instance once it was found it was a rather simple fix, I would hope when detected any boat owner would investigate its source.  It is always easier to identify a problem when it is being experienced.

I have had the worst buying experience of my life with this company. From the down payment through the entire purchase. I was told lie after lie. I drove 10 hours each way for pick up. And they didn’t do one single thing that was promised. And lied every step of the way. Don’t believe a single word told to you by Mike Geertsen. Typical salesman that will take full advantage of you. He had 3 weeks to do all he promised as part of the sale. And didn’t have a single thing ready at time of pick up. And caught him in lie after lie. And I’m writing this 3 months after the fact. I was much more upset ....it’s been horrible!!!! I’ve tried for three months to contact the sales manager. And have yet to have contact with him.

Good day to all. October 10, 2014 My name is Scott, I live in Southeast Portland. I would like to share my experience over the years with Stevens Marina, mostly I go to the one on McLoughlin, Milwaukee Gladstone area. When ever I walk onto their boat sales lot, I can completely relax and feel no pressure. The representative may just say to me if you need help or have questions just let me know then they calmly returned to the office. I always receive much respect and professional product knowledge and information but not sales pressure. The sales manager I normally work with, name is Chris.B. Cris listens completely, response clearly and respectfully always giving me accurate and honest information. In 15 years I have never heard or felt any sales gimmick, but instead I hear clear honest information and an opportunity to buy if I choose to do so. I personally speak very highly of Stevens Marina and I speak very highly of Chris B, the sales manager that I have worked with over the years., Along with other good men that I have met on the lot. I am just a customer and I gained nothing from writing this review it has no intention but to tell the truth about “good jobs well done.” Personally I do recommend Stevens Marina to my friends and relatives. ….. Clear skies to you all,,, Scott R ..Southeast Portland

Do not purchase a used boat from this dealer--was told the boat ran perfectly and was serviced and ready to go. My bad for believing them. Boat ran terrible the first try and the air compressor blew the second try leaving me stranded in the Columbia with my two young children. Spark plugs were 16 years old and cheap oil was in the oil reserve. Called to give feedback and although the sales manager was nice I heard nothing but excuses. Ive spent 3 grand just to get the boat running. BEWARE ! This was my first boat purchase and will never make the mistake of believing what a sales man says again.

Stevens marine managers and salesman are horrible people.I purchased a used alumaweld flat bottom sled from Stevens marine.Stevens marine sales used boats and states they inspect all their used boats before sale.I was given a full report on the boat, motors condition. No where on the report did it say the boat had a leak.We test drove the boat with salesman. We noted there was a small leak. Stevens marine salesman said they could weld it up no problem. Stevens marine welded the leak before I purchased the boat. Upon purchasing the boat. The first time I used it. It was leaking. There was a hair line crack in the repair weld bead. I took back to Stevens marine less than one month after purchase. They told me the aluminum had elctrolisess and could not be welded. Sorry about your bad luck, no repair, no refund, no trade for similar. Out 13k. These people are horrible.

. Most of the equipments in Stevens you can buy for over half price on amazon. Doesn’t have very competitive prices on anything but boats. So my father in law had a boat and took it in to do work on the carburetors. They “said” they rebuilt each carb on both the 40 merc and 15 and went through and gave each motor a tune up. They also placed a couple other goodies on on the boat. The work was done in January and my father in-law decided after the work was complete that he was going to sell the boat.Stevens kind of made him a deal. If he did purchase a new boat from them then he can sell his other boat in the lot. Before they put the boat up for sell they listed a number of small things with the boat when they did an inspection. One thing they listed was the motors would not start and would have to have the carburetors gone through! F this place! They literally just went and gave the motors a tune up!This in not a ma and pop shop. This is a scamming used boat dealership! Stay away from this place! There locations suck as well! There is literally no room to bring a boat in and out without waiting for others to get out of your way!

STAY AWAY FROM STEVENS MARINE IN PORTLAND OREGON THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE!!Spread the word so they can’t do this to someone else!I purchased a boat from them just recently and was told by the salesman Christian and the service manager that the boat is in perfect working order mechanically and that he checked everything himself along with Tim the service manager. They said everything was mechanically sound and the boat would be ready to take out on the water as soon as I got it.When I received the boat the stereo was not working like they said, fuel lines were all cracked along with the fuel filler hose that was cracked and leaking, the captivation plate had a huge crack in it that I am now stuck fixing myself. Along with many other items they said were working that really don’t work at all.Yes I should have never trusted someone’s word about the condition of the boat but I trusted that a certified mechanic would be able to see all these issues and fix them so the boat would be safe. Yes shame on me for not looking at it in person myself but at the same time I also did hire a 3rd party mechanic as well and he did tell me the issues that I was willing to accept.Stevens Marine repaired the prop on the main because one of the blades was messed up. I specifically asked the salesman and the service department to be certain there was no other issues with lower unit. They said it was just the prop and nothing was damaged. Well that was a lie.Tim the service manager is a joke at Stevens marine he has no idea as to what they are doing. There is more to the story but what ever you guys do I would never do business with this place and I for sure would not take there word for anything. The broken captivation plate has discoloration in the metal where you can tell that it was broken so they knew about this issue. Saw the crack by the trim tab so I grabbed the piece and it completely wiggled loose.I have pictures of the fuel lines as well but you can’t see the leaks in the photos. You can see the aluminum below the leaks and how it’s discolored. These items were all in plain site that any good mechanic would have said it was unsafe. They even sent me pictures of the broken captivation plate before the boat even left the yard of Stevens marine after I had the boat in my possession for 3 weeks and when I highlighted the broken parts and sent the picture back to them they still didn’t even offer to make it right instead they just tried to blame the person who transported it but it was definitely not the transporters fault!!DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS THEY KNOW THEY WERE IN THE WRONG AND STILL CHOOSE TO NOT MAKE IT RIGHT!!PLEASE SHARE THIS ON ALL FISHING SITES IF YOU CAN SO NO ONE ELSE GETS SCREWED OVER BY THEM.

The boat was as described however the Garmin fishfinder was not at the dealer when I arrived. The sales manager, not Trent, explained that it must be at my dads house and asked if they could mail it when they got it. It took some protesting before they included a new fishfinder. Our salesman Trent on the other hand was absolutely top notch! I text him on his day off on a couple of occasions and he did not hesitate to respond. I have also text him for advice on a few different items and once again I have received return texts without hesitation. I have also ordered a few items from the parts department which arrived VERY promptly! The person that I have dealt with in the parts department, Mitch, is top notch!
