First time I use them for lawn mower tune up it will not be the last they did a great job at a reasonable price

Came in with some lawn equipment for Competition Mower to do tune-ups on for the spring season. What a great place. I was referred to them by another landscaper who told me what a great mechanic Chris is. Boy was he right. One of the machines I brought to him was at 2 other shops where no one could figure out what was wrong with it. Christ fixed it and in a very reasonable time for a reasonable price. I tested the machine when I picked it up. It never sounded or ran as good as it did with Chris fixed it. I would give them more stars if I could - GREAT JOB!

I dropped off my mower, chain saw, and edger/trimmer on Tuesday. By Thursday morning all was fixed and working perfectly! I live in Queens and well worth the trip for speedy service and knowledgeable craftsmen. If you need a professional to get it right Competition doesnt really have any.

These guys are awesome! I have no idea what the other 2 negative reviews are about, but Ive been dealing with these guys for years. These guys are the best in the business. The owner is very hands-on and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to commercial power equipment. Ive been in the business a long time and have been to many shops, and these guys are honest, knowledgeable and friendly and I highly recommend them!

Very unprofessional customer service. I brought a blower in for repair and asked them much would it cost on 10/23. I was told they have to look at it and I would get a call back. On 11/1 I still hadnt recieved a call about an estimate so I called back myself. I was told they ordered a part and was waiting for the item to come in. I was bewildered because I never recieved a call as to whats the problem, or how much it would cost. It was a cheap job but I thought it wouldve been considerate to let the customer know whats going on with their property. I expressed that I would like to know the cost before they started fixing the blower so they said come get it. They didnt want to fix it anymore and said they charge for estimates. Completely rude and unprofessional mannerisms. If you have equipment to be fixed, I suggest you find another place.

Owner terrible to serve the clients.. I used them Before ..not to please the first time .I did giving another chance.. second time more nasty the owner ..needs to learn customer services ..plus he is always crying the he doesnt have a roof to keep equipment the is t being repair dry..stop crying and put a roof ..i will never bring any equipment there again..and never recommended to any one either..

In January 2016, I purchased a snow blower from Competition Mower Repairs, Inc. They--especially Chris and Lisa--treated me like I was their most important customer. I utilized them to service the snow blower in the fall of 2016 and 2017 and walked away with the same feeling. This company is truly customer focused and out to please. This is an excellent company to do business with.

Brought my damaged mower to Competition after I had spoken to Chris on the phone to describe my problem with a poor repair job. When I arrived he immediately had one of his staff examine the mower and begin to repair the damage, tune and power clean the unit. I was charged a reasonable rate and my 7 yr old mower runs like new.It was a pleasure dealing with Chris and will definitely be using Competition in the future.Nice job!!

Chris and his staff were awesome. Extremely helpful and curtious. I called before I purchased my snowblower. Chris was knowledgeable and led me in the right direction. Entire experience was great. Definitely would purchase from them again.

He is terrible to serve the clients, I bought the lawnmowers and the week was damaged, and I took it for repair, This man is pedantic and of bad character, he did not want to make the repair, I do not recommend it.
