This is my go-to Michaels. Love it! Also I got a piece of my art custom framed today and Theresa was incredibly helpful and kind. Patient, thoughtful, and helped work within my budget! Awesome experience(:

I found just the right thing for my project.

I went here for fabric dye and they had what I needed. They actually had a really great selection and stocked the dye for polyester/ harder-to-dye fabrics. They even had some fine tip black fabric markers that I really hope do the trick!

So many things to buy to craft and enjoy this time at home. Got painting supplies, candles, gaming supplies and baking items all at a great price.

Michaels is the best in craft products combined with price. Always my 1st choice.The doors here are different than any other Ive visited.Friendly, good staff.

The store was clean and organized. The staff was helpful when I trying to find things. But there were a lot of empty shelves and a bunch of boxes in front shelves that I wanted to check out and had to pass because the boxes were there. (I think a shipment had just come in)

Got there at 9am and the door was locked to public access for at least five minutes. Went next door to Staples to make a purchase. Apparently business is robust enough during the pandemic that its ok to not open your doors for business on schedule.Went back to Michaels and walked around for another 10 minutes looking for another item, not one employee was seen on the floor, until I was headed to purchase checkout.First experience at this location and it will be my last. Not impressed.

We love their frame shop. There are changes currently but our finished product was amazing. The frame shop did not disappoint!!

The customer service was great, store was clean and items where in stock. I do have to say that they were cleaning the keypads after each client that was excellent

Staff was helpful and friendly. Merchandise seemed pretty picked over and empty though. The glass container section was nearly empty, and there was only 1 size of cork.

Walking into here was like walking into a big box discount store in the early 2000’s. Everything was on sale, the shelves were high and of course not everything was stalked.I understand COVID and having a sale, but from the looks of this location, I honestly thought it was a “Going Out of Business Sale” till I read closer and saw they were trying to “make room” for more merchandise.

Just spent about 15 minutes waiting to discuss a custom framing job as a gift for the upcoming holidays. I rang the service bell, twice. Finally, an employee showed up, looked something up on the computer, and ran off, without acknowledging me or saying a single word. The store wasnt swamped, and I have no idea why they found it impossible to help me.This just reinforces what I think of this store.

Terrible! First off I have tried doing 2 pick up orders and they didn’t even have it ready after a week of waiting so I canceled them. Today I went in to return a couple items and the cashier told me that because I didn’t have a receipt or the email I had to go all the way to Richfield to return one of the items. I got there and they told me that the Ridgedale store could have looked it up by my card! Very annoyed and angry that I had to drive all the way out there, out of my way for NO REASON. Everyone I have seen working there does not seem to care and it’s like a bunch of middle schoolers running around trying to figure things out. It is so obvious that they need help and a leader to teach them what they need to do. Seriously some of the WORST customer service I have ever had. I will not be going back unless things change drastically.

On-site employees very helpful. Was pretty busy when I went on Friday afternoon. Was able to navigate using Google to find what I needed to be in and out quickly.

I placed a custom frame order and was over charged to start and told they would figure it out when I picked up the framed art( initial quote as compared posted sale) and was also told I would get $5 in rwards for every $25 spent but not told that it was a max of $5/day, so only recieved $5 total in rewards). It has now been 3 months since I placed my order (was told it would take 3-4 wks) and I cannot get an update on the status, being consistently told it will be ready this week. I have come in person 3 times and called regularly, I am now trying to cancel the order and get my artwork back and refunded and am experiencing challenges with that too. DO NOT GET FRAMING done here!!

Has all the usual Michaels stuff but poorly staffed. Very nice staff, just too few of them and a little slow. An errand that should have taken me 5 minutes took 20. Still, would definitely go back (though wouldnt order online and pick up here again).

Not enough staff at checkout. Store feels crowded with items. Get coupons for an amount on regular price items but most items are either excluded or already on sale.

This was my first visit. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Their wine menu was different in a good way. The bartender was able to steer us to a wine that was very good and, again, reasonably priced. Ill be back!

I paid for a framing project and was told 2-3 weeks. At 4 weeks I called and was told they would expedite the framing. Called at five weeks and they took a message because no one was in framing. I never got a call back. I called at 6 weeks and was told to call back tomorrow. Worst customer service ever!!!!

Was happily surprised they had the parts I needed to fix an old clock.

Nice store that has everything ART, very educated employees that are on top of their job. They go up to everyone in the store and ask if they need help. .and you can tell them what your working on and they can suggest to you what you need. .and when the line gets long they are quick to open more registers to keep the wait time minimal.Strongly recommend .

Ive reported this store to BBB filed a complaint on the manager and a cashier for throwing me out of the store when I was picking up a ups package because I have a medical condition making me exempt ada will investigate and when they see they broke the rules it will be a pretty large fine on this store buy from hobby lobby not here do not I repeat do not buy from this company they are rude disrespectful and could be fired for discrimination and I hope that old lady mgr with purple hair ends up fired this was the worst treatment ever even got customers to start screaming at me too lawyer will be contacted tomorrow

Make sure you sign up for their emails to get coupons. If you buy something here at full price youre doing it wrong. I get a daily email with a coupon for at least 40% off something.This specific store is good for quick trips in and out. They dont always have a good backup cashier plan...so sometimes the queue to check out can be quite long with a single cashier.

Good customer service although at times the registers can be understaffed and long waiting times to checkout occur regularly. During my lastest visit, I ran into District GM Lawrence and he always makes my day! He has such great energy and I love that Michaels has diverse leadership... ✨

I was looking for a single paint brush and the brushes was sold in packages.

A bit chaotic in December, but I thought they did a good job of encouraging social distancing.

There was a big sale going on, this store has you covered if you need anything artistic or decorative, for example: any color shirt with iron on logos, letters, you name it. They have all sizes of picture frames and pretty much a little something for everyone of any age.

Friendly helpful staff is what youll find at this Michaels. If its not found readily available on their shelf theyll happily search for it in their store or look for a preferred location near you if it is out of stock. Also, the Rewards program is an amazingly free program that entitles you to receipt free returns, deeper discounts, and exclusive shopping opportunities and announcements. It will also be able to link you to your tax exemption account beginning July 21st so you wont have to fill out the form and hold up the line- huge save!

I always go in with one idea and come out four or five. I love Micheals. Their crew is very wonderful also. They will help you find what ever your looking for, no matter how many people it takes.

The products and pricing was great. The after Christmas specials were VERY good. My reason for the three stars is due to the employees. They were rude and only seemed to be there to socialize among themselves. They were loud and talking like they were at a party. It was very unprofessional.

But, the manager at THIS location, Lainie, is always sweet, helpful and patient even though her store is typically busy, yet woefully understaffed. Like always, she makes the extra effort to help me find what I need and make helpful artistic suggestions. Much appreciated and keep going back to this location because of her....

Cleanest and my favorite Michaels to got to. Purchased a bunch of art supplies for a birthday gift. Thought it was going to cost me well over 200$. With discounts applied it was only a little over 100$!! amazing deals and friendly staff.

Website says place order before 3 pm for same day pickup. Placed order after 10 am got and email saying we are working on your order it will be ready soon....never got another email. Now store is closed so I guess I will call tomorrow to see what happened. I wanted to make masks this weekend for healthcare workers and residents at care facilities.

This Michaels is always well ran and usually stocked to the brim. I have always found the items I am here for. I reccomend the frames as that isnt main purpose for going to Michaels.

Seems to me that it is one of the larger Michaels stores in the twin cities. It was not a mess like the Coon Rapids store often is. Very Pleased with my trip here.

Bunch of overpriced nonsense. 4/7/18, updating review to 5 stars due to Brian in the framing department. Hes helpful, knowledgeable, focuses on the customers needs and ensuring the colors work, etc. Awesome experience and LOVE my newly framed art. He can be detailed or quick.. and above all, patient. Other customers can spend up to an hour deciding, which, personally, would drive me insane but he understands the importance of making the right choice. Definitely recommend.

Never pay full price! They always have coupons online or in the paper that get you deals and usually the cashiers have extra copies of them to scan as well. Lots of selection in terms of different crafting supplies covered- everything from knitting/crocheting, to paper crafting/scrapbooking, to painting and drawing. One supply you wont really find is fabric and sewing supplies- try heading to a Joann fabrics for this...

They got rid of most of the party stuff. If you are looking for decorations for a baby shower skip this place.
