Home of economy my arse. Nothing is economic in this store. The clothing selection keeps getting smaller and smaller. Everyone wants to be a big box store and forget where they come from.. years ago you could actually find deals not so much anymore.. I do like the store good products but just as expensive as everywhere else.

Zero stars!Negative!Called ahead to see if I could return some items and they didnt have a refund policy anywhere.The lady told me they will refund no problem with a receipt.I got there and no longer had the debit card that I purchased it with.Not credit debit!So rather than just return with cash like anywhere else I had to go home and get my card.Then the manager wanted to give me in store credit on a grill.Which I refused to take since I would never go to that store again.So they still have the 40 dollar skillet and Im out 40 bux.And to make matters worse they saw on my receipt that my purchases altogether were 3,000.00.We had recently spent a lot of money here and was given the run around and 40$stolen from me.I wish I would have spent my money at Tractor Supply!They really treat their customers great!They are moving and getting a larger store also.I would definitely encourage people to go there for better prices and to be treated nicely!Home of Economy had a young rude inexperienced manager that had no business even working at McDonalds cooking let alone customer service!!Im mad they pretty much robbed me!Im owed money for my return.The 2015 Consumers Right Act guarantees consumers that they can return their items within 30 days for a full refund if not happy..Home Of Economy has a blatant disregard for the law!They shouldnt be in business

My friend got a flame resistant suit and burned in a car crash

Terrible store..Dont go here!I spent over 3 grand in the last 90 days.I needed to return something and I had my receipt.I wasnt happy with a griddle.They kept the griddle and didnt give me my money back!Crooks!!Tractor Supply knows how to treat people.They are building a newer bigger store and I would encourage people to go there

Today I contacted Home of Economy to assist in a delicate situation. Leroy was quick to assist me in putting together a manual order purchase. He went above and beyond in locating a pair of denim bibs and western shirt. He even went further and sent me pictures to make sure that was what I wanted. Thank you for the great customer service Leroy!

Very friendly staff and great products.

I hurried in when I heard they received a large shipment of 22 caliber ammunition. The store manager and employees totally ignored their store policy of limiting sales to two containers. The bulk of their sale went to a competitor of theirs (Dakota Arms). Instead of serving their customers they served their competitor. When I emailed the two people at the top of the corporate office I got absolutely NO response.

Bought a stihl chainsaw brand new with warranty. Manager told me I couldnt return the item and I only had it for 3 days when there is a 10 day return policy on these items. And was very rude about it. Will never buy from them again.

Cheapest automotive bulbs I’ve found in town.

Was in Saturday 1/18/2020. My battery I purchased there almost 3 years ago was giving me problems in my pickup, it only had one month of warranty left on it. But they exchanged it no problem at all. Sorry I forgot the guys name helping me but thank you so much. I’ve done business there before and will be doing business there again. THANK YOU AGAIN!!!

Was shopping for some new jeans and was disappointed that I could not find my size in a specific manufacturer product. Guess I need to be a smaller person. One thing I do like are the prices; I thought that they were very reasonable. I also needed several other things and again, the prices were reasonable.I was very impressed with the employees as I thought I was kind of a pain, but they were extremely courteous. I will be shopping at Home of Economy in the future.

Loved the furniture. Clothes to fit all my my very tall and skinny adult kids. Unique jams and jellies. Been a few times.

Staff most times dont know or unwilling to help. If you dont work in the oil fields youre 2 nd class or worse.

I love Home of Economy, it somehow almost always has everything Im looking for and more stuff I didnt know I needed. I go there for winter clothing, house supplies, local food, and am this close to buying some furniture too. Everything you need.

Great store, but its anything but economy. Awesome collection of things, but probably the highest prices around......kinda like an anti- Walmart

Update 01-02-20: At the bottom will show the company resolved issue. I was very happy once the manager found out and got involved.I’ve ordered a rocking chair from their amish gallery. This was in August. So far I had 3 Different days it was supposed to be here. Each time I called the guy answers and says he will follow up and call me back. He never calls me back, not once. Think he just wants me off the phone. It’s now December, my chair still hasn’t come in. They don’t want to do anything for wasting my time, no gift card or a hat or anything but a “I don’t care about you tone” and a promise they’ll follow up and call me back.Guess my number one complaint is that I keep getting told another date and that they’ll call. They never call. Now I called back this last time just before thanksgiving and the guy doesn’t know where it is and has nothing for me( also doesn’t sound like he cares one bit).I’d never order through this place again, i hope no one does, very bad customer service and very bad experience.I did call today a nice lady answered this time. She sounds better but again another promise to call me back.Feel like they just took my money and I won’t be getting a chair.Also the baby was born and we still have no rocking chair for her baby room.Update 01-02-20: the store manager was informed of this review, he took great concern and personally delivered the chair. He apologized and assured me that if he was only told the matter could have been handled with more haste. He was upset himself for not knowing about this situation and took control of everything. He was really great. They compensated me for the troubles and I’m sure their store employees will know to keep him informed better. I bet they’re all working pretty hard today. ( I would be haha)The final product was wonderful and the wife is very happy, and was happy with the manager’s personal delivery. Great job.

Searching for FR clothing and winter boots. They have all the top brands but it was odd that they remove all their boots from the original packaging and line the product up on shelves. You do not get any original packaging with your purchase.

Like a Tractor Supply Company on steroids! Place is awesome! Has about everything you can imagine. Tools, lubes and oils, fire rated clothing, and even a barber shop!

Went in 20 minutes before they closed, already knew what I wanted to buy and basically got pushed out the door by an employee.She reminded me 4 times they were closing soon and that I needed to hurry up and that they are locking the door soon. I felt a bit less special when another customer received the same rude and rushed treatment. I checked my phone, 6:43, almost out of time I feared of being locked in and put the jacket down and made a dash for the exit.I am aware it was near closing, there was no reason to being barked at by an employee acting like she was late for a party.Of course Ill come back at some point, Ill just have to remind my self to show up at a time thats convenient for the employees.

Unfortunately this place no longer has the commitment to customer service ive been in the oilfield for sometime. home of economy use be my go to spot for if i needed a specific item that Im looking for Ill come in Ill ask the employees and its almost like it feels like Im bothering them and not very friendly not very helpful unfortunately good places really went downhill youre better off just going to Walmart they have just about the same things fR clothing

A good store with lost of variety. Id its a one off item you need, check here. But there are some items I believe are over priced. Thats the reason for 4 not 5 stars.

Got some overalls, and only had 7 min. til close. Friendly staff

Bought a pair of Ariat steel toe boots because I owned a pair previously and loved them. Wore them on my 19 day hitch and got major blisters on both my heels. Of course I didn’t bring my old boots with me so just dealt with it. Put on liquid bandage and gauge. Tried them next hitch after blisters went away and only blistered on left heel so threw them in my closet for 3-4 months. Got them out yesterday and thought I’d try one more time. That was when I realized the right boot was the correct size 9EE but the left boot was 11 1/2. Two different sizes!!! Took them into store In Minot. After they found the transaction they said they would do nothing bout it cuz it had been 5 months. I recognize that I should have probably checked size myself but also see the store has fault as well. After arguing with them and asking to talk to the Store Manager, who wouldn’t even talk to me, they asked me to leave the store!!! Wow!!! 2 months of blisters and $150.00 boots sold wrong size and the Manager wouldn’t even talk to me... Never doing business there again. I work in oilfield and am going to make sure everyone I come in contact with (a lot of people) knows exactly what kind of customer service Home of Economy Minot has..... none... Store manager won’t even talk to his disgruntled customers!!Review update... After I sent this review to the Corporate Office, I got an Email from the CEO, within 30 minutes, voicing his displeasure of how things went down for me at the Minot store. After talking to the Operations Manager on the phone within another 30 minutes, I was offered to exchange the boots for new ones. Wow... now that’s customer service at its best!!! After my initial 1 star rating for the Minot store I have to give the Corporate office and their team a BIG ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rating.
