Bought a bow and accessories from The Outfitters. The staff were knowledgeable and helped me pick the right bow for me. The people there were professional and personal, getting to know me when is something you wont get in most places. I would highly recommend going here if youre thinking about getting into archery; they can help show you how to use the bow and the gear you need to be successful.

Best Bow shop around! Chris is extremely knowledgeable about archery. He took time out of his day to teach me some new things about building arrows. I wont go back to Scheels for anything dealing with my bow. I went to Scheels for new strings and 3 weeks later they still didnt have my strings in. I got a refund on a Thursday and Chris had my strings in and installed on the following Monday.

Great stop. Went in with a couple arrows that needed new fletching and Chris hooked me up on the spot. Looks to have a great selection of bows and anything else you might need to be ready to shoot. Recommend to all local archers!

To be fair, Im not from Minot and have never heard of this place. Looking at other reviews, we decided to check it out for fishing supplies. Unfortunately there was very little in the ways of fishing supplies, with a lot of it seeming to be much older lures and rigs.One half of the store was set up for archery/apparel and listening to the employee over there talking to another customer about archery, I will say he sounded very knowledgeable.The part that really threw me off however was the amount of random items. I dont go into a Sporting Goods store looking for jewelry, perfumes, and antiques.

Steve and Caleb were very accommodating. My wife and I enjoyed browsing the store and the help we got with our purchase.

In full disclosure I originally left a two star review after trying to go on a Saturday in the hours posted on the door. The owner reached out to me after and told me they had changed their hours but havent updated the door sign yet.Im upgrading to a five star after I had stopped back in for some help on a rod combo I purchased a week prior. I was having problems with the reel gearing. Not only did they take it apart and found replace the missing gear but they also spent 45 minutes of their own time explaining to me, a beginner, how all of it works. The owner was there as well and regaled me with retired air force stories and hunting trips.All in all I misjudged the family run establishment to be an incompetently run business. I couldnt be further from the truth. America needs more family run, customer service first, family run businesses like The Outfitters.

In a splint decision on a Friday afternoon, I thought Id buy a used bow on Bisman and try my hand at bow hunting. Unfortunately, there was a problem with the cam. Chris was extremely knowledgable and helpful in getting me set up. I went with my 11 year old daughter and he made her feel at home and even got her to release a couple shots out of a youth bow after she swore she wouldnt. On the way out he gave her a practice bow to spark an interest in archery and gave me a handful of arrows. Terrific experience, let The Outfitters help you with all your fishing and archery needs

I came in to minot from out of town for work. I am an avid Pike fisherman, It was my birthday weekend with their pros pointers and outstanding year I manage to land some of the biggest fish Ive ever caught 10 out of 10 stars great guys outstanding products

This place is awesome. They have everything you could want, and they are always priced the same, if not lower, than what I could find online. Plus the staff is very knowledgeable and familiar with the the area. When Im going to fish somewhere I havent been before, they will show me what I should get that they know works at certain spots. Great people.

I am very impressed with the fishing side of the store. I absolutely hate the archery part of the store. I bought a new sight there because I wanted to support a smaller shop. The sight was good and I have no complaints besides waiting over a month for a sight that I could get a scheels right away. Then I was told I need new strings. I bought ABB premium bowstrings I was charged over 200 dollars for strings and to put them on. You can buy the same strings and cables and have them put on for 150 at scheels and that includes d-loop, peep sight, cam timing, and paper tuning. Chris said that I did not need to paper tune the bow which is very wrong. I brought the bow to scheels a month later because I was sick of my arrows flying out of my bow not straight and the bow blew up while they were tuning it. This could have been their fault or it could have been the outfitters fault either way scheels replaced them with the same strings for free. I would not recommend this archery shop it makes me mad that I was over charged by someone who did not know what he was doing.

Had a great time there. I think the young kid behind the counter needed more exp in stringing fishing pole thou. I have to fix the string serveral times.

Best place in the area for fishing gear and supplies. They now do archery as well, and are the local PSE dealership. Im pretty sure they will be expanding the archery and will be bringing in other brands. Chris knows his stuff when it comes to settings up and tuning bows.

I had 4 things to buy and the outfitters had everything I needed. I stopped at their competitor and they were out of all 4 items. Great supplies and friendly employees. The outfitters store gets a 5 star!

Yes! This is an amazing store. For my reloading supplies they are the same price as Scheels and I am not charged extra when ordering a specific powder. Best part is the owner and staff treat me with respect and value my business.
