I wish I could rate this location lower. Never have I had to deal with a more frustrating, less helpful, more maddening business in all my life. Dont get me wrong, most of the employees have tried their best to be helpful and friendly, but having to deal with all the incredibly endless frustration of customers, suppliers, and insurance companies has simply destroyed their souls. With that in mind; they have told me how they refuse to answer the phone, even though the system keeps spewing out reminders every 30 seconds. Inside the store, the line to pick up medications is almost always backed up through the aisles. The drive thru is always ridiculously slow and the entire parking lot is full of pot holes. Shop be careful driving small cars, they could be swallowed up!I have personally ordered prescriptions first thing in the morning, visited the store late afternoon and waisted 30 minutes in line to be told they havent been filled and to come back in 20 minutes. They have lost prescriptions, refused to fill them, and given out the wing medications. All the incessant phone calls are enough to drive anyone crazy. Never a human, always a robot telling you 3 letters of some stuff cant be refilled, or how about auto refilling?Avoid this place like a leper colony! Go to thrifty white, or key care, or anywhere else! Let the poor employees recover while financially telling the corporate office how awful this place is.
Ive read a lot of the previous reviews and I do understand the frustration. However, have any of you seen that saying that says, The whole world is understaffed. Be kind to those who show up? Ive been a customer of this store for 15+ years. I get a lot of prescriptions because a I have a couple of chronic health issues. Have there been hiccups along the way? Absolutely. They are understaffed and are the busiest pharmacy in town. AND, the employees are human and humans make mistakes. Ive had issues with my calls not being answered and long waits. Ive also had employees from the pharmacy tell me theyve found a coupon to get me my prescription at a lower price. In my opinion, the pharmacy changed their hours just so theyd have a chance to catch up on their prescriptions. I wholeheartedly believe the employees still come in at 8 AM and leave at 10 PM, using the time without customers or phone calls to fill prescriptions. Ive never had a staff member be rude to me, but maybe thats because Ive been kind to them.
I like the discount points you earn here with their loyalty program. I am forced to come here by my prescription insurance, their pharmacists and pharmacy techs can be a bit of a pain to deal with due to laws and CVS corporate rules and policies. Heres a quote from one Pharmacist, I really cant help you any further, Im just a little Pharmacist, in a great big corporation! Most of the time, things go smoothly, and you can get good discounts. If you have a problem with an issue or a prescription, youre on your own.
Would it have been too much to ask of a huge conglomerate like CVS to do such a simple thing as update your pharmacy hours on Google? I mean we are talking about medications that are needed and to drive all the way, sick as a dog, only to be told by the pharmacist that she cant give me my medications because their hours have changed. SMH. Thumbs up CVS for literally showing me that you really dont give a **** and that basically you run your company true to form as yet another facet of corporate America and Big Pharma. Im pulling my active scripts and bringing them to my local mom and pop drugstore where Im appreciated as a customer. Yall make me sick....literally
Apparently they don’t know how to answer their phone! Also pretty sure I’ve been getting hung up on when I try calling! Keep receiving a “busy” signal and then the line goes dead!
This is the only CVS my daughters prescription isn’t covered by the insurance, and this is the only one across America that won’t accept a coupon through the drive thru! The staff are exceptionally rude and unhelpful!! I will not be getting anymore of my family’s prescriptions filled here!! The inside of the store is also an absolute mess every time I go inside!! Management needs to look at these reviews and visit this location!!! This is by far the worst location I have ever been to!!
No one seems to know how to answer their phones. I have literally spent at least the past three(3) months calling CVS in Minot, ND and never had contact with anyone with the pharmacy until last night and then she sounded mad because I spent nearly an hour constantly redailing.
I bought an item advertised for $14.79 on the shelf. I went to the self-check out where it charged me $17.49. I waited in line forever because there was only one person working on a very busy Saturday morning. I decided to go to the pharmacy to get help, and no one there could or would help me. I went back to the front and asked if there was anyone else working. She said what is the problem, and I told her. She asked if I had put in my customer care number and I again told her that had nothing to do with it, but that I was overcharged from what the item is listed for on the shelf. She said, Oh, yeah, that can happen. We raised our prices. I told her that the register cannot charge more than the advertised price on the shelf. She said there was nothing she could do. I told her that I would not be back to a CVS pharmacy, and left.
Had to sit n drive thru 26mins then to get to the window an the young lady says welcome to CVS I’m sorry I’ll be with u n 5 mins or so it’s never easy to drop off call or pick up prescriptions her at this CVS
I always seem to have frustrating experiences with the CVS pharmacy in Minot, ND. The majority of the times they have my prescription incorrect and it takes at least 2 more times before they have it correctly. This last time they filled my last refill incorrectly. I was supposed to get 5 boxes of my prescription. They gave me 5 boxes of the incorrect one. I told them and they gave me only one of the correct one and told me that was all they had at that time. I spoke to a helpful pharmacist later who recognized the incorrect one was filled and said he would order the correct one so I could get the remaining ones of my refill. I just went there and was told that they didn’t have anything and I had no refills left and they needed a new prescription!!! I tried to explain that they had incorrectly filled my refill so I should still be able to get the refill I was supposed to get. I also just got off the phone with a lady there and told her I had received a text last weekend saying my prescription was in and she was very rude and stated that she “didn’t know where I would have got that text because they hadn’t had a truck”. I felt like she was pretty much accusing me of making it up. She then said they would need a new prescription from a doctor. I am definitely never using the Minot CVS again!! This medication is for my migraines and now I have nothing because of their incompetence of filling prescriptions. I would like to say, though, that most of the people I have dealt with there have been nice and courteous, except for the lady I just spoke to.
This is probably the worst CVS that Ive been to. They never answer their phone and in store are rude to you its rude to you when all you want is another status of prescription or to pick up one.
Very rude cashier on 11/4/21 @ 5 pm
They never answer there phone horrible customer service
No problems 😊, friendly staff
I have never in my life been to a pharmacy that obviously doesnt start processing your prescription until you go to pick it up until I came here. Multiple times we have come here after waiting about an hour and been told it wouldnt be ready for another 30 minutes. Last time, we got told come back in 30 minutes, and when we did, they told us to come back in ANOTHER 20 minutes. We were extremely annoyed. And this is not a CVS issue. This is a management/location issue. CVS in Arkansas has never done anything like this.
Pharmacy staff isnt helpful. Very short and rude. Cant do their job for a prescription that has been sent AND called in by a provider numerous times to be refilled.
Totally dirty store. Random junk by the photo machine. Milk fridges are gross. Aisle design makes zero sense. Sky high prices. My family lives here so I thought I would check it out. DO NOT GO HERE.
I was shocked by the rudeness and unhelpfulness of the Pharmacy staff today. The extremely slow lady at the drive-up window barked questions at us with no greeting offered and no “Please/thank you” at all. They also could not process my insurance, and I have never had a problem with that for any prescription anywhere else. Now I have to submit for a refund to insurance. I certainly will be filling my prescriptions elsewhere. It doesn’t hurt to offer basic customer service. 40 minutes wait-no thank you.
For the third time, I attempted to fill a prescription and the cashier couldnt find the script in the CVS system. Two of the scripts were refills (both current), and the third one was one that my physician sent over in July 2020. Annoyed because Id been already standing in line for 15-20 minutes, I called my physicians office and was assured that it had indeed been sent in July. I then immediately called CVS and was told by someone else that the script was in the system. Wait. What?? To top it off, all three cashiers were rude and sarcastic. They need to re-train their staff and also practice their customer service skills. COVID-19 isnt a good enough excuse for such incompetence.
Always notify me monthly on prescriptions. In and out 10 to 15 min. Holiday specific unique iteams. Freindly people.
I was given someone else’s prescription. I had to go in for some antibiotics and when I got home I had someones inhaler. The staff was nice about it but it sucked that I had to drive all the way back considering that I’m sick.
Absolutely ridiculous! A 30 minute wait to drop off a prescription and a 70 minute wait to pick it up, even after the 15-20 minutes to fill it. Every time I have to come here the wait gets worse and half the time the prescription isnt even ready even though my doctor calls it in the day before my appointment. I have called before I left home, to make sure it is being filled and after a 2 hour drive I still have to wait
The only reason we give this a star is because there is no option for NO STARS GIVEN !!!My wife was trying to pick up medications today and the endless mistakes made were unbelievable. I thought Pharmacists were educated? Even the techs should at least be able to get a name right and process for the correct prescription. Someone is going to be seriously injured or worse. It took two hours to get a simple prescription for eye drops.... First we were in the drive through and it wasnt processed an hour after the prescription was called in. So we had to get in the back of the drive through line again, this time they said it was ready, but to process insurance we would need to go inside... So we went inside and got in line again. When we got to the front of the line we were told we would need to get in a different line... After waiting in that line, when we got to the front they discovered the medication wasnt correct, wasnt for my wife, everything about the process was wrong. The tech/clerk/pharmacist? corrected the errors.... and sent us back into the other line. When we got to the front of the line the dingbat who couldnt remember ANYTHING told us, Im sorry, that order isnt ready yet....My wife said, IT IS READY!!!! ITS RIGHT THERE IN THE BACK so, she got it from the back and asked, IS THIS FOR BIRTH CONTROL????HOLY PHARMACEUTICAL COW!!!! NO ITS FOR MY EYES!!!!Seriously.... If CVS Management reads this, please... Find out who was on duty 5/18/2020 around 3:30 and do some cleaning house before someone gets hurt. A simple, Oh, one of our customers was upset conversation isnt going to fix this... Its obvious there is a systemic problem that wont correct itself till some people are replaced.
0 stars. Ever try to check out up front at the Minot ND store? Good luck!!! Doesnt matter if there is a line all the way to the back, or 1 other customer in line, you are waiting forever. Theres one older cashier, all she does is talk all day and night to the customers with 50 people in line. The people working the aisles do NOT care to help at the registers when there are 45 people in line. I fear having to go there because if I want a bar of soap I have to wait a week to get it. Id get home quicker if I robbed CVS, got arrested, went to jail, got released, than I would waiting in the Minot CVS front store line.
My Wife went in to get some childrens medicine. Our 6yo daughter needed a restroom. The lady at the counter told my Wife they were not letting people use them. Then turned to her coworker and said Im going to the bathroom and then Ill relieve you. We understand people are afraid of covid but we are all humans and a 6yo little girl would have treated you better. Thats the last time we buy anything from any CVS anywhere. 6 years old! SIX!
Without a doubt the most incompetent pharmacy I have ever had to use.
This is absolutely the worst pharmacy I’ve ever had to use. Also can’t be bothered to pick up the phone. And when they do, they hang up on you.
Bad service and rude staff. Pharmacy and the store staff are unaware of their product. 😓
The reason for 2 stars and only reason is because I get auto refills every month on 2 prescriptions. I give CVS an extra 2 days to make sure they are actually ready when I show up so I dont have to come back 8x a day and it always is. So, 5 stars on that. BUT when it comes to same day pick up they fail tremendously! My mother had reconstructive surgery on her mouth and had 6 meds to be filled. Dropped them off and was told 1.5 hours by the tech working. My husband and I show up 3 hours later and they were not done. When they were done it was 7 hours later. The ticket on the meds showed that they werent processed until 4pm and had a promise time of 645pm. They were dropped off at 1230pm! My mom went 7 hours without pain meds after surgery on her jaw! SCREW THEM!!!!!!
Ive been going here for 10 years. So Ive seen great staff and not so great staff. It has its busy days and not so busy days. Overall a great experience.👍👌
Never again will i use the. The young girl by the drive up window was the rudest that i have ever seen. I would rather drive 100miles for a damn asprin. But use of CVS Minot never again.
Ever since the new pharmacist started, the service has gone downhill. I have issues with filling every time I go in now under her management.
I live over an hour from this pharmacy and always have my maintenance drugs mailed. They didnt show up this month so I called them 3 times, only to be told 3 different stories as to why it hadnt been mailed. Went in yesterday to pick up what should have been mailed and to drop off another RX. They said it would be 30 minutes, I gave them over an hour and a half and went back. Waited in a long line for about 40 minutes at the pick up window only to be told she didnt have the one I dropped off and that I should go over to the drop off window to see if there was a problem and then wait in line again to pick it up. Worst customer service I have ever seen. Needless to say their staff is pitifully untrained and ignorantly rude.
It’s extremely slow, they get your prescriptions wrong, they yell out what you’re taking across the store, the lines take forever, they shorted me on pills. I’m now going to Keycare pharmacy!
Theyre always prompt and organized and very informative.
If I could give zero stars I would. Came to get my prescription that was put in at 11am today. I went to pick up my prescription at 5pm and waiting in line for an hour and a half. When I got to the counter the girl was very rude. She told me the prescription was not ready yet it would be about 15-20 minutes. I was very confused because it was put in that morning. She said “so your going to just come back tomorrow then?” I then asked why it wasn’t done yet. She said they were a day behind. So not only did I waste a whole hour and half of my life. But I didn’t even get my prescription. Very disappointed. I will be switching pharmacies. I’ve never had this issue with any prescription anywhere else.
I go through the drive thru Pharmacy window and they all so delivered
Deserves negative 10. I was called 3 days ago, its ready. Go to pick it up 2 days ago, 1 checker and 40 people. Go back the following day, 1 checker, 22 people in line. Go today, wait for 30 minutes, to be told its not ready. Another 20 minutes. Im getting ahold of the people I have to to never go there again.
This pharmacy is the slowest. Whether it is in transfers, filling, answering the phone or the drive up. So much for getting home soon.
Over an hour wait on a simple prescription that was called over by the Clinic. Seriously the WORST service. Save yourself the time, go some where else.
I can’t even type out why this pharmacy is so bad because it’s so frustrating just thinking about what I’ve been through with them. I have never had more problems with a pharmacy before.
Meds take days to fill!! They never know who you are and ask if your a customer.staff is very rude !! They call u and say your pills are filled and you go and there not filled
They always short me on my medication. They cant do simple math to figure out the right day that I should be able to pick up on they refuse to listen to the doctor when he tells them they can and should be able to fill it. They are extremely rude no matter who you talk to. They always act like they are better then everyone else they are extremely slow and Inefficient
Well I am not surprised by the fact that I called this CVS 1 hour prior to make sure my medicine would be ready to pick up after my visit to Sanford urgent care. No one answered the phone of course. So I show up to the drive thru and hand written signs are on the window saying its closed (even though its during the drive thru open hours). So I find a parking spot in a crowded parking lot and get in line behind 12 other people stuck standing waiting to get to the pharmacist. You figure since waiting 30 minutes to an hour for a prescription is normal at this CVS that they would have invested into a larger waiting area so that there isnt always lines of people standing in the aisles preventing other people from shopping down those aisles . If you value your time, go to a different pharmacy.
Yes I agreed its very rude went there today and the manager name Jared is very rude and unprofessional. Bad service as ever. Closed your store if you dont met the customer satisfaction. Rude rude rude
Horrible customer service. They lie to me telling me my prescription will keep being ready in 30 minutes. 6 hours later... nothing!!!!! They don’t care. There’s so many employees in the back, but they look like they aren’t even doing their job. I hate this pharmacy in MINOT NORTH DAKOTA
They are severely understaffed and its having detrimental effects on service. Waits times are excessive and we frequently have problems with scripts. Went yesterday, after getting a call that our stuff was ready. 2 out of 3 scripts were not ready. One had a problem with insurance and the other wasnt ready. Dont know why they called us and said it was all set! Very frustrated. At this point we are going to change pharmacies. There have been problems nearly every time we go there.
This is the most pathetic attempt at a pharmacy. Theyre is absolutely no communication. I dropped my order off at 5 and went to pick it up at 9. It was not done. I then sat for 30 Minutes patiently waiting only to watch people who just dropped their order in pick up their prescription. I finally went up to the counter only for them to tell me the doctor didnt sign off on the prescription. They couldnt have told me that when I dropped my prescription off. I understand that without the signature it couldnt be filled, but to tell me theyre working on it when really theyre not is pretty ridiculous. I am absolutely disgusted with this joke of an establishment.
Booked a flu shot apt on line, go to store and they don’t use the apt service nor do they have the flu vaccine. What a waste of time!
Pharmacy staff have treated me and all family members rudely when picking up rxs after my surgeries and when picking up routine rxs. It hasnt been a one time thing but constant rudeness, nasty comments and attitudes from all pharmacy staff for over 2 years. Ive had enough. Ive decided to switch as soon as my refills are up. Sick people and chronic pain patients dont need this kind of treatment.
Slow as dirt better service at mcdonalds
If I could give CVS no stars I would. It doesnt matter when I or my doctor calls in medications, its never ready. I have even called in refills on meds on Friday for pickup on Monday and I have to wait 20 to 30 minutes for me to get them because they arent ready. It is poor customer service.
This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. I went in today to pick up a medication that had been called in 3 hours earlier. They said it wasnt done and to come back in 15 minutes so I did. They then tell me that they could only give me 3 days worth of the medication because they are out. So it took them 3+ hours to fill 3 syringes..... Oh and on top of that they didnt even bother filling the other prescriptions I called in earlier they just simply told me they were out and to come back tomorrow. Well today was my only day off this week so SCREW YOU CVS... I will get my medications elsewhere
Long lines. Waited in line for 35 minutes and my prescription wasnt found, though i dropped it off the day before
Wish I could give no stars..I have lived here in Minot almost 3 years now and with not many pharmacy options I use CVS.. this place is the worst. The employees are mainly all rude and not to mention how incredibly slowwwww they all are. Just today I was in and was helped by Denise in the drive thru and she never smiled or greeted or told me bye or anything.. slammed the window shut and acted as if I was bothering her. CVS should take more pride in the pharmacist they hire, the people working there say a lot. Cant wait til I no longer have to go to this horrible pharmacy.
Ignorant people
Always a great place.
Go to thrifty white if possible. Customer service is lacking here.
From out-of-state. Took care of my transfer for me. NO problems at all!! Very friendly and informative.
This pharmacy cant seem to get its act together lately! They have gone from convenient to very unreliable and frustrating. After months of poor service, hours in lines, and many trips to pick up prescriptions that were not ready - when given ample refill time - I will gladly take my business elsewhere.
Horriable service. Went to drive thru told me an hour for the script, or go into store. Told her I didnt have alot of time and asked why the difference in time. She threw the script at me and said with an attitude its for people who dont wanna wait
I placed an order online to get some pictures printed for my new home, on Monday the 9th of January 2017. I received a conformation that my pictures would be ready by noon. I received a other email, letting me know my prints were ready, so I went to get them. When I got there, I stood there at an empty front area for 30 minutes until someone showed up. When I told him I was there to grab some pictures I had ordered to be printed another lady came out, interrupting the young man that was helping me, and very rudely said We havent received any such order, and we most definitely did not send you an email. Call back in a week and see if you pictures have been gotten too. Called back today Monday the 16th of January of 2017, to have the phone answered by the same lady, who then proceeded to tell me that I was obviously incapable of using a computer because if I had ordered pictures, they would be ready. There were 100 pictures, of my family, my dog, memories that I want to hang up on my walls. But these imbeciles, have been absolutely no help. And will not be getting my sweet smile or appreciation, until they fix the horrible management. Great first impression to a Utahn that has been here less than a month!
Worst Pharmacy in Minot the pharmacy techs in the store the most inept people I have ever met in my life my doctor prescribe something for me my wife called and talked to a pharmacy tech or pharmacist and asked if this piece of equipment was compatible with the one I was already using and was told yes she went in to pick it up she asked the same question again at the pharmacist when was told yes I get home open up the equipment try to use it no surprise here its not the same called to complain pharmacist I talk to wasnt sure either when I said what do I do with this meter that Ive got that I cant use she told me to throw it away or donate it wow no wonder peoples insurance rates are high these idiots cant get anything right if this was any other business the manager would get on the phone and call me talk to me they know my name Ive been dealing with them for a long time havent heard word one from the pharmacist owner going to go in there today and see if hes there find out what hes got to say but if it was me Id advise you guys to find some other place these guys are horrible
This was my second poor experience with the pharmacy. My husband, myself and our son drove into town to have a prescription filled for our son. This prescription was dropped off at the drive thru widow of cvs. The attendant informed me that it would be 1 1/2 hours before it would be ready. She then said theyd call when its ready. An hour and half went by and I called, since I hadnt heard from them. The pharmacist let me know that they do not have this specific medication. My reaction was why didnt the attendant catch that when I dropped it off and why didnt someone call me? She said sorry. So now that we have wasted almost 2 hours of our day we then had to search for another pharmacy to fill this medication. I feel that their attention to detail and efficiency in contacting customers is seriously lacking in their department! I will attempt to use other pharmacies before having to resort to using cvs again!
The only reason I stayed with CVS is the fact they were the only drive thru pharmacy in town but after being an unhappy customer for 3years I have decided to use a pharmacy thats actually decent even if it means getting out of the car during Minot winters. The pharmacy staff is generally rude and slow and I honestly have only ever had one positive experience. (They were closing and let us run in to get TP)and have considered myself lucky if the service is ok and if it takes less than 30 mins to actually talk to someone. We wont even pick up random items like toiletries from them anymore. I recommend checking out other pharmacies in the area.
So I have to take pain pills for my hip and some solution for my eyes (massive car accident) i had the doctor e script my prescriptions over to cvs thinking itd be there and ready in about an hour. So I went to pick up in drive thru only to be told its not there. called the doctor and had them call it in.. waited an hour called to make sure it was ready as I was already late to take them. they said yes so I went back in pain to pick them up only to be told when I got there that they didnt ha e anything for me!! so here I am crying in my car because I hurt so bad that my bf actually called the doctor to have it transferred to any other pharmacy. Had to drive all the way to Bismarck to get meds as it was on Sunday. Id reccomend that you use any other pharmacy around if you actually want your prescriptions.
One word.Terrible
My doctor sent in 2 prescriptions, I went to pick up the NEXT day because Ive had issues with them not having medications ready before, waiting in a long line for half hour only to be told it wasnt ready. They also only had one in their system as well. I had to leave could not wait another 30 minutes which is when they said itll be ready. Had to wait yet another day before getting it.
Got tried of them announcing what perscription I had . I have used other CVS pharmacys and never had that happen at either one . This was brought to their attention and I was told that announcing was store policy, corporate said no .
I will never use this place again. So rude and lazy. Tiana was the rudest, nastiest person I have ever encountered there. I have been using this pharmacy for years and after this experience, Im done!
Just use keycare unless youre in a hurry then use CVS pharmacy.
No one wants to actually work
If I could give this pharmacy a half of a star I would. You at minimum sit in line for 45 plus minutes to be told it is not ready and to drive around and wait Im line for another 45 plus minutes to get your prescription.
Rude employees, just extremely rude.
Go somewhere also very rude mean people
Crowd n hard to find parking available
Poor service.
Slow cashiers
