The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and assisted me with all my questions. Specifically, they were helpful is testing out a handful of guitar amps. They did not try to up-sell or pitch anything unnecessary, which is much appreciated. They have a wide variety of hardware for just about any musical interest and are honest with what will fit your need. I hope to do more business with them in the future.

Went in to get my guitar tuned, walked out wishing he would have tuned ME instead. From time to time I try and peek at him through the windows... move some stuff out of the way please. Everyone else is friendly too I guess.

Minors premier music store. These guys not only know there stuff but will go the extra mile to help you out. They are even known to let you take and try an instrument. The try before you buy is something you dont get with online stores. They also have a wide variety of instruments. If they dont have what you want they will order it in and you still can try it before you buy it. Try that with an online store!

Jacobsen Music is such a fun place to go to. They are helpful and very talkative. They guitar guys know their stuff, and they have a shop that can fix most any problem with most any instrument. Prices are sometimes high, but not outlandish, and they also discount and match pricing if they can. Very fun atmosphere if you want to just go and jam out and research their instruments. They also help out a lot in the community with lending equipment and being as involved as possible. Jacobsen also turns into a lesson studio at night, with guitar and drum teachers teaching classes for beginners.

Jacobsen Music has pleasant and helpful employees, good deals all around, and is an excellent space to try out new instruments if you want to buy them. The music teachers are pretty top notch and the repair shops get anything you need done, and as a trombonist and guitarist its a great place to repair any dings or problems with instruments for a fair price. Best place in town!

Jacobsens is a family owned music store with employees that have made music and supporting music their life. They are very helpful and have most of what we need when we go shop there. If they dont have it, they will see how they can get it. Very cozy and friendly.

During my visit, I was interrupted in the middle of the a conversation about the guitars I was possibly considering purchasing by the seller answering his phone and walking-off with no one to continue helping me for a decent period of time. I was sold a guitar from the shelf with no discount after they had realized there were no more in the warehouse, and there was an advertisement sticker planted on it which left a load of residue on the pick guard, greatly diminishing the looks. To top it all off, Im all for promoting local sellers, especially with how inexpensive it is to just order instruments and accessories through companies like Amazon, but this store is absurdly expensive with a very poor selection in product brands. I would honestly have to recommend shopping elsewhere with the negative experience Ive now had, here.
