Helpful staff. Our chainsaw blades needed sharpening and they finished sharpening them up earlier than they promised. Now shopping for snow blowers and the staff have been great with helping us make the best choice for our needs.

I rented an insulation removal pump which did not perform as it should, the discharge side which blows the old insulation into the disposal bag was not getting the insulation flowing to the bag - it ended up costing me extra money, whenever I brought up the issue to their tools rental manager and requested a discount for the inconvenience - he blamed it on the type of bag that I was using to get the job done. The person who got the equipment back mentioned: “ this is not one of our unit, it came from Fargo” ; bottom line is - rude, unfriendly, greedy people....I did deal with United Rental, Hertz before and I have never had issues like this, I strongly recommend for people “NOT” to rent any insulation removal pump from ACME Tools Minot, I will complain to the Better Business Bureau and will also leave a negative review. $ 350.00 for this pump per day.....which did not perform....do not waste your money with them.

The most worthless sales staff I have ever seen I went in there and bought a trailer for $1750.00 dollars and the pile of human excrement that was selling me the trailer told me that he could not install the hardware on it because they were shorthanded with the 15 employees I saw walking around doing absolutely nothing in there so I said fine Ill install it myself give me the hardware got the trailer drove home when to install the hardware found out that all the hardware was not there so I called Scott the sales guy I was dealing with and ask him to send a delivery driver out with the rest of the hardware he told me to get back so I drove another 40 miles round trip back to get the hardware just to find out that he was jerking me around again when I got there so I told him that they can take the trailer back and stick it up there ass and they lost the sale way to go Acme Tools Minot North Dakota I will never do f****** business there again

Rented a weed trimmer to do approx 200 sq ft of grass. Dealt with Al- nice guy- he said, If you get it back quick I will give you a bit of a discount. Asked if it was full of string and fuel, told it was. Go to my daughters, get half done- no string. Went all the way back, got string- went back to finish- got done. Returned to acme within 2 hours- different guy behind counter- said no discount- I explained what Al had said and this guy was the rental supervisor who likes to flex his muscle- no discount. I replied that I would not return the item and asked when it was due- it will go back tomorrow. As if I am going to let them get another day rental off of it by returning it early.Do not rent from here!Went to return the weed trimmer the next day and Al was there- he said he was very sorry and I said that he had no reason to be sorry. He said that after he spoke to the supervisor there will be a discount (hope it didnt come out of his salary). I said that I was sorry he had to work for the rental supervisor. I also said that I will be talking to corporate regarding the supervisor.

Sales staff are nice, however most of the service/parts guys are very condescending to the customers even you treat them politely. I would rather have my fingernails ripped out with pliers than support this local business. It is a real shame the service/ parts people donthave theiract together, they really do have a great supply of tools and equipment. I wont even talk about the fact that the part I needed was 1/3 of the price on the internet.

I want to fill my Christmas stocking here! And ladies, dont think it is a mans only place. Staff will treat you with dignity and respect. They will help you find a nice special gift for your spouse.

Terrible TERRIBLE customer service!!!!! Tell you one thing but never happens. If you want a machine go any where but here to get it!!!!! Bought a piece of equipment for our skid-steer a month ago. Finally they said they would put it all together and have it back to use same day, its been a week!!!!! A WEEK!!

Bought new mower. Didnt even get my lawn mowed and the mower failed. Got authorized to take it to Williston for service. Williston had it for ove a month when they called and said it was ready. We showed up and mower still didnt work. Because it was defective we asked to return it but were told we would have to pay 15% restocking fee....for a defective mower. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. Do not do business with these people!!!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!! THEY ARE COMPLETE IDIOTS, AND KNOW NOTHING ABOUT COMMUNICATION, OR HOW TO TALK TO SOMEONE WHO IS TRYING TO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!I purchased a Husqvarna weedeater from Lowes. 1st mistake! I get it home, and it doesnt work, wont spin the shaft. Well, because its BRAND NEW, I figured Id take it in for a warranty repair. I search the web, go to Husqvarnas website, and find a warranty center. AWESOME, THERES ONE IN MINOT, ND!!! I call them, and heres where the hell began!! Needless to say, Im told that I would have had to purchase the piece of equipment THROUGH Acme Tools, in order to get warranty repair. SAY WHAT!?!?!?OK, so, I call another place, and end up calling Husqvarna themselves. They tell me that theyll resolve the issue. Wow, cool beans, this is going to work out well!! Yeah, that was my 2nd mistake!!I spend 45 minutes on the phone with BEN, a manager at the Acme Tools location in Minot. He tells me that they are trying to get themselves OFF Husqvarnas website as a warranty repair center, because Husqvarna doesnt pay them, blah blah blah. After the conversation, he agrees to FIX my product, and submit the repair order to Husqvarna to try and get paid. OK, GREAT!! He takes my number down, and my name, as well as my wifes name, and I tell him that shell be in the VERY NEXT DAY!!!Well, here I am, with a busted weedeater, and now I have the General Manager, RICK, hang up on me, after REFUSING to let the weedeater in the store, my wife carrying it by the way. If youre going to run a business this way, RICK, I, as well as ANYONE I meet and talk to, will NOT go to your store, or ANY Acme Tools store.... EVER!!

These guys have everything you could possibly want in a tool store. The only downside is they close early so if I want to shop there I have to go first thing in the morning before work because by the time I get off there are usually closed.

I brought a weed trimmer into have it repaired, I came back to get it, paid for it and took it home. Two days later I receive a call that I need to bring it back because it wasnt finished. So I have to drive 75 miles to have it repaired when I needed it for my business. Very frustrating and the weird thing is it felt like this happens a lot.
