I have been coming to this very small and out of the way place for the last 20 years with 3 different cars. Alex is a very honest, reliable and trustworthy mechanic. He has never, ever, overcharge me for repairs and neither has he suggested to do any extra needed work on all my cars.He does advise me on when I should do any maintenance and unlike car dealers, he never finds other items to repair.I wish mechanics could take honesty lessons from this man...I will continue come to do my car repairs, I highly recommend you do also

Alex is the owner of Quality Auto. Ive known him for over 30 years. He has serviced my prior cars as well as my childrens cars when they were teenagers with their first cars. If they had a problem I would tell them to take the car to Alex..lol..The reason why I mentioned this is because over the years, he has always been low-key, honest, and sincere, professionaland consistent. He will always give you an estimate and not pressure you into making a decision. If he had to spend a little more in purchasing a part, he calls and let you know before installing the part, then you get a surprise when picking it up your car.. Like some mechanics do. Hes one of a kind. Thats why he gets a 5 star from me.

Called the mechanic for an appointment for minor panel damage. He told me to be there in 2 hours, and I told him have to be back at work in 3.5 hour but said the job takes no more than 5 minutes . When I got to the shop, (On time) he was out for lunch, and never showed up. It’s already been an hour since my appointment time . The receptionist has recommended me to another oil shop, that she said they will do .. of course when I got there the shop said they don’t offer that service.

I am so grateful for this shop. I have been here multiple times and every time i have been treated with great service. I spoke with a gentleman Alex while i was there and the guy was very respectful and understanding with my problems. He looked over my car and cared for it like his own. I definitely recommend this location for anyone looking to get repairs done.

Alex is very honest and does great work! He got me out of a tough jam while I was traveling. My transmission went out and had to be towed while on the way to Miami. Alex was able to put an additive in the transmission fluid, and it worked like a charm. Was able to finish my trip to the Keys and back to Tampa with no problem! Still running great! Most mechanics would have told me I needed to rebuild the entire transmission, but Alex was honest and advised me to use the thickener instead. My car is older and would not have been worth the expense to rebuild. Highly recommend for quality work, reasonable prices, and great service. Will definitely go back if I am in the area. Alex is an honest mechanic who took the time with me to review an engine light that came on in my car. He replaced the spark plugs and an ignition coil at a reasonable price. Best mechanic Ive met in a very long time. Took my car in after noticing a gasoline leak in my engine compartment. Alex inspected and fixed the problem right in front of me and even took the time to explain what he was doing and why. He is an honest and friendly person which is rare these days. Alex is a great mechanic, he spent a good amount of time talking with me and figuring out what needed to be done without any pressure. When my repair was done the bill ended up being LESS than I was quoted! Alex told me he had to use a different part supplier to get my equipment on time, and actually passed the savings on to me. Good luck finding that level of service and respect elsewhere in south Florida. Take your car here, you wont be disappointed.

Alex is amazing. I have heard many great things about this guy so i decided to try to take my truck to him after another mechanic was unable to fix my truck A/C. Alex immediately looked at my truck and told me he would fix it right in front of me and proceeded to show me the problem. He had my truck repaired in an hour and I was off. Highly recommend!!!!!!!!

Quality auto repair is amazing! Alex & his wife are beyond nice. We are from out-of-town & we broke down on the turnpike late in the day on a Friday afternoon, very close to closing. To make matters worse it was Memorial Day weekend. We called them and explained the situation & they waited for us. When we arrived Alex immediately started to work on solving our problem. He fixed the car and we were back on the road in no time.I wish he was closer! We live over an hour from Quality Auto but would make the drive for Alex to work on our vehicles. New to the Miramar area and I can say confidently that I will be coming back. Alex was very honest with me in terms of my repare options. He will give you options, doesnt seem like hes out for your money they other mechanics can seem. I went for a bad battery and terminals. He gave me two quites based on the amount of labor that may have been needed. Highly recommend.

Ive got a 96 Cherokee that I refuse to part with whose cooling system exploded on the highway. Had it towed based off of great reviews to Alex at quality auto. To say I was pleased was an understatement. Alex was friendly courteous, his prices were fair and he was extremely fast on his work. Only sold me and repaired what I needed. Great service and great pricing! Very friendly owners and I didnt feel like I was being taken advantage of. I recently moved here so I was afraid of that but it was NOT the case! He did more work then expected cause once he got in there (my car) it was a mess! Great electrical skills & explained all that he was doing. He explained what else will be needed done at a future date. He also gave me a lesson on what oil to use in my car since I moved here from up North. I was burning through it fast. Excellent little auto repair shop in a nondescript collection of warehouse space on Palm, between Pembroke Rd and Miramar. Although the area looks a little rough around the edges dont be afraid to pull in and speak with Alex (the owner) about the issues youre having. If youre hearing a noise, feeling a vibration or your car just isnt functioning correctly hell insist on getting in the passenger seat and have you drive with him to make sure youre both on the same page, which is a pretty comforting thought to reinforce youre not getting ripped off or charged for services you dont need. In my case I was hearing a higher pitched humming noise when idle, which Alex quickly identified as burned out bearings in the alternator. Sure enough he was right, and after ordering the part, which came in a reasonable amount of time, he installed it and I was on my way, confident that I was fairly charged. Ill definitely come back for future service, and suggest you do too.

I came here because the reviews were good. Yes the reviews are real, yes they are that good. I came here for an oil change and new brake pads. I thought I needed new brake pads but I just need them adjusted and cleaned. Goodyear, Midas, and Pepboys etc. wont hesitate to take your money, but the mechanic here is a good guy. Ill be coming here again.

I had an oil leak. I brought my car in for a repair. They gave me a quick lesson on how to check my oil levels and repaired it for only $10. I would highly recommend this place.

Horrible experince. Guy wanted to charge 70 dollars to change one spark plug. Very disappointed with the neighborhood mechanic wished he woke up on the right side of the bed.

Ive been coming here for 3 years...TRULY TRULY HONEST MECHANIC. He will even tell you what you can wait to fix later so that you dont over spend. Ive saved a lot and scheduled other repairs later on so that my wallet didnt take such a big hit. Dont judge the book by its cover. Alex does great work, gives great recommendations and delivers on his promise. Iveven told 2 other friends to come here and theyve saved $1000s as well. Great person, great service. I came here for a second opinion on some issues with an overheating engine and missing coolant. Honest auto repair up the street wanted $1,200 for a themostat, radiator fan and water pump repair.Alex here fixed all of it for 50 bucks. He did it right in front of my eyes by pulling out the radiator cap and showing me it was broken by comparing it with a new one. Honest man that I will defintely send people to.

I just moved to south Florida been looking around for I do mechanic and I stopped at the shop to ask how much a synthetic oil change would be for my Infiniti Q50. the shop owner told me was going to be $130 smh. in New York I paid $60 for synthetic oil change this guy is a crook I’d watch out. I also want to add in that at the Infiniti dealership charges $90 after-tax for an oil change and that using Nissan oil.
