Best market in the area! The people are so friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming and homey and they have such an amazing variety of products! I always look forward to shopping there.

There are so many useful, delicious, and healthy products in this nicely organized and clean store. It has a nice variety of many Asian foods from different countries, and a small but nice selection of fresh veggies. Great frozen food selection, nice selection of rices, condiments, teas, oils, and household items. Also prepared food is really yummy.The owners are kind, courteous and helpful too. I love this store.

Small, but has a decent selection of Asian groceries. They have marinated bulgogi you can buy to cook, which is awesome!

My daughter and I went in looking for some noodles, dumplings, bulgogi, and a new steamer basket. They had everything we needed and more. We found some yummy snacks, drinks, and some good Ramen. Get the Bulgogi in the fridge case by checkout- it is sooo good...the pickled ginger is too. I only wish they chatted with us more and offered suggestions for us on how to cook with some of the ingredients we werent familiar with.

They also have fresh vegetables and refrigerated and frozen meat and seafood ingredients. A glass display case near the checkout area has homemade/small batch Korean side dishes, entrees, and salads. Yum-O!!! You owe it to yourself and your love of Korean food to check out this tiny but value-packed grocery!!!

Been a loyal customer since 2007! They have a couple Japanese items I love and cant get anywhere else. My friends and family love their Kimchi. The owners are so nice, I highly recommend them!

Lots of coveted import ingredients are available with good prices. Love to get kimchi, frozen mandoo, spices, seafood, and noodles. There are delicious pre-made items such as japchae, bulgogi, and mochi often available too.

Excellent little oriental market specializing in Korean and Japanese products. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. Shelves are always stocked. Theres a nice refrigerated/freezer section and a small section for fresh produce. Prices are reasonable, especially on rice. They also have a small display case up front that sells some cooked items. Everything is priced right and Id highly recommend.

Very, very small, but with an excellent selection. Korean focus, but the main staples for Japanese and even a section for Thai. I got everything I needed and a little bit more, and everything was super fresh and perfect. Highly recommended.

This is one of the best places in the area. My husband and I shop here every weekend. They always have everything we need and the staff are super nice, helpful. Product shelves are always stocked nicely and store is clean. Wonderful place, cannot say that enough... Just wonderful.

Something different worth look.

Ive only heard of this place recently, but Im SO happy I did. Lots of different Korean and Japanese food staples. Quite small but it more than makes up for it in variety. Im not super into a lot of Asian cuisine (many of them have cabbage, onions, and peppers which is a big no for me unfortunately) but they had a lot of snack and dessert options that I loved. My favorites were the mochi, cream bread, and Mogu Mogu (lychee juice with coconut jelly). Might come back for their Korean snacks next time, they had a lot of them there!

Love this place. Before Covid it was my go to shop after a Meijer run. Now I find myself there more than ever to stay away from big crowded stores. Fresh vegi’s and stewing hens! And the only place in town I can find Sun brand fresh ramen noods.

Always find interesting and tasty items, that are hard to find elsewhere. Just had a Japanese traditional ice Sandwich dessert (a waffle cone sandwich with chocolate layer with vanilla ice milk). Highly recommend going.

I love shopping here. The wonderful friendly and professional people who work at the Oriental Market always make it a pleasure to pick up all my favorite Korean, Japanese, and Chinese foods. Saturday bread day is also awesome!

Holy fish cakes and noodles, this place is amazing. Tucked just to the side of Barnabys on Grape Road, Oriental Market features a rotating variety of East Asian grocery staples, from beverages to rice; unusual snacks and treats; all variety of frozen pot stickers; packaged produce and fish; kimchi galore; all of these and more, all at really great prices. Its a one-stop shop for preparing many varieties of East Asian meals. I tend to come in every couple of weeks to pick up various supplies, which are usually cheaper (and actually authentic!) than you can find in your local supermarket of choice. Please stop in and support a local, ethnic small business.

I bought crab meat and open it at home. it was too dry and old to be edible. So, I went back to the store to return it. Owner does not allow it and keep said that it is normal.Their altitude about returning the item is really bad.

My favorite east-side pan-Asian grocer. The emphasis here is on Korean groceries and ready food. They have their own mini ready case bibimbap veggies, salads, tofu, etc which change (lately theyve offered bulgogi too). The frozen section has good variety, and the fresh veggie section is continually improving in variety. There is also a small section for cooking and eating wares. The grocery is clean, well organized, and the proprietors are friendly.

Probably the best Asian market in the South Bend/Mishawaka region, in terms of product variety, prices and service (not much since its a grocery store but the store owner is pleasant enough). Another good thing is they require only $5 minimum purchase for credit card, so if you just want that bag of Korean spicy noodles for $5.99, youre good to go!And since its a Korean-oriented store, expect to find most Korean related products here for a good price! They also carry more Japanese snacks and treats than most other stores in town. Also some Chinese condiments too. For Vietnamese and Thai products, they do carry some, but not much. Id recommend Saigon market downtown for more variety (and better prices for these country-specific items).All in all, Id say this is my favourite Asian store.

Used to really like this place, until my card wasnt working on there machine. So the owner then forced it through, but the whole time made me feel like I was trying to rob them, took my phone number and all my info, then said we will be in touch if this doesnt go through. Made me feel horrible and incredibly uneasy. Sadly though this is the only place I know of which sells natto.

Out if all the oriental stores in LA and Southern California, this store was the only store that carried dry radish. A childhood memory when my Mother used it and it had been years since I tasted it. I was looking in the wrong asian store. Not Chinese its Korean. Plus the store very neat and found other items.

From Kalamazoo to South Bend, this market is the only Korean market weve come across that has fresh banchan other than the usual kimchi/radish. Theyve got a nice little selection of fresh produce like bean sprouts and greens, as well as dried veggies and frozen seafood. This is my #1 choice for Korean ingredients in the Michiana area.

This is a great store if you are looking for Korean snacks (banana rice crisps, macha flavored KitKats etc.), sea food, mochi, Japanese soda, or Asian soup ingredients, among many other things. The staff is always friendly and there is always a good selection of food to browse.

They have quite a lot of asian food. Specially the variety of ramens, sauces, whole squid and macarels. I wish the place was a bit bigger so theyd have a lot more options. Some of the prices seems a bit high, but since this sort of stores are a rarity around this area, no complains.
