Extremely poor service. Called in for a quote on an oil change for my R8 and was told “it’ll be like $300 I don’t know we don’t do enough of those cars”… If this dealership can’t take 5min to look into exact pricing on a $200,000 car I can promise you they won’t care about any car you bring them. I even decided to give them a second chance, came in person and got the same reaction!!! Avoid this place at all cost.
I purchased a used Audi from another local dealership and only came with one key. So I purchased a back up key for $450.00 which came in 2 days. I knew once it came in it would be $150.00 for them to program. They called me once the key came in to schedule my appointment and they were a month out which no big deal. I arrived for my 1:00 appointment which was told it was yesterday I said well they told me today and that it would take 30 min. He said no it would take an hour to an hour and a half but we can get you in! I said PERFECT! It only took 45 min which was great but then was told at check out that while programming the key my doors don’t unlock or lock with the key . My trunk also doesn’t unlock now but for $159.00 we can hook it up to the diagnostic machine. As a local business owner myself this is not right making the customer pay for a simple programming as if I had even known this could be a possibility I would have never purchased a spare key! Now I’m out the cost to see what happen and no work door/trunk that unlocks/locks with the key.
Was planning on buying a vehicle from Audi Michiana a pre owned 2013 Mercedes Gl550 with 97k miles for $25,995. and that desire quickly went away after meeting sale rep Jeff Spencer! This person is very rude and has a nasty off putting attitude and has completely no skills in communication & negotiation. Had completely no clue and was making stuff up on the go especially when I asked if the car came with a warranty he first said No after the test drive he said it comes with 3 month 3,000 mile warranty then he said it has 12 month 12,000miles warranty only on powertrain components. So then we went to the table to negotiate the price of the vehicle because it had cosmetic issues like scraped front bumper, fogged up headlights and the air suspension was sitting completely on the floor before the vehicle was started up so it definitely needs work done to it, body work alone is 1k easy and Mercedes air suspension repair could be $2000+. So I gave him an offer and said I’ll take the car off his lot for $21,000 to which he replied no way then I said how about $22,000 he said he’ll go ask his manager, after waiting 15 minutes he came back said the manager is willing to only bump down $400 to which I said no thank you and was getting ready to leave and the runaround begins. Mr Spencer said he’s going to talk to the manager again to see what he can do so we wait another 10-15 minutes then he comes back sits his chair and starts typing away on his computer mine you we are still sitting at his desk waiting for an answer thinking he was printing up a new deal or something. Now this is where it really gets me, he looks up from his computer as if he’s surprised we are still sitting there and like he saw me for the first time. so the look on his face got me confused and I’m thinking does the guy has amnesia or something, literally there was 5 minutes of silence then he just says sorry we can only go down $400... so what do we have a deal? we then kindly stood up and said no thanks and have a good day to which he gave us a nasty look as if I hurt his feelings. So the following day the phone calls come pouring in and I started ignoring them so he left voice message after voice message so I listened to the message and Jeff spencer said ‘give me a call I have great news on the Mercedes I want to work out a deal’ so now I thought ok maybe the will budge down on the price I give him a call and he asks if I want to buy the car and I asked if they are willing to go down on the price he replied only $400 so we ended our call and still till this day keeps calling us! Very rude, unprofessional and annoying tactic! If you can’t budge on the price don’t call me period. Still surprised he works there! So the following week I went to a dealership in Elkhart ‘Tom Naquin Chevy & Nissan’ and found an exact same car We were looking for with half the miles and immaculate condition the exterior & interior were detailed and came with warranty and the manager gave us a $3,000 discount to which We were surprised. And when signing our title paper work we meet Jeff Spencer’s former boss. All I have to say is shame on Audi of Michiana and Mr Spencer, Sonny said he taught you better!
Took my TT in for service today and this dealership is much better than my local dealership in Fort Wayne. Originally scheduled for some routine service but found fluids leaking underneath the car. Brought it in today and they inspected it for no charge. Was told as long as a visual inspection can be done, there is no diagnostic charge. My local dealership would charge a diagnostic charge whenever they touch the vehicle. Prices are very fair compared to the quotes I got around Fort Wayne. Unfortunately, with the age of my vehicle, it did not make sense to repair. I ended up walking out with only the inspection done. Was not charged for anything. Great service and if I end up with another Audi in the future, Ill come here for major services.
Not sure about the sales team but the service folks are very short with you and borderline rude. Theyre understanding of your car needs seems to be limited to problems instead of solutions.Today I called in because I noticed my oil was getting low, very concerning in a late model vehicle but not totally uncommon for an Audi. Instead of sharing some of the background information with me the service guy just says They all do that. I asked if they had oil available bc I have had struggles with Audis and oil and wanted to make sure I did things the right way. The guy tells me my 5w-30 oil is available at any parts store which is just not true. Had an oil leak in an older model - couldnt find Audi oil at AutoZone, OReilly, or other places and I needed it regularly. Called German Concepts and bought some from them once also.Im just saying... If theyre under staffed, frustrated about a past caller, or think this how you treat ppl I still shouldnt perceive it. Relax, breathe, and treat us with respect. When I brought this car expected a reliable (lol 😁) vehicle and quality customer service. Not a guy who clicks on me, instead of saying a time or who to ask for Monday. Not my first time being annoyed with their team but soon to be my last, definitely taking the recommendation to have my vehicle serviced in Chicago starting this coming spring.
Took my Audi in for service. Chris Zellers is the Service Manager. He is a man of his word and makes sure that the work of the service department is done to the customers satisfaction. I highly recommend his service department for any Audi owner.
Have been waiting since July for a claim to be taken care of that no one can give me zero answers on what’s the hold up or what’s going on. Completely unprofessional.. I’m being told I will receive a phone call and never do and I call the corporate line and they tell me the dealer has to handle it.
Great service department. Very professional. Nice facility. Kept me informed the entire time of the progress when my Audi was being serviced.
Took our 2015 Audi there for an oil change. Had problems getting anyone to answer the phone for most of the previous morning when I called. Once there, service was performed fine and they did a quick wash. While I was standing in their customer lounge though, looking for a trashcan to throw away a used K-CUP from their coffee maker, some guy jumps out and starts asking me what I was doing, what I was looking for, did I have a car there, etc. I felt like I had been profiled--I was wearing an old pair of jeans and tee shirt, guess I didnt fit the Audi demographic.Wasnt real impressed with this place but better than driving to Kalamazoo, the only other local option.
Josh really got me out of a jam. I was traveling from out of state (Ann Arbor, MI) for a family gathering in South Bend, Easter weekend. My car started having troubles around Kalamazoo and I was able to get it to an auto part store for diagnosis. The next morning (Good Friday) I called Audi Michiana and Josh was able to get my vehicle in within 30 minutes; and provide a shuttle back to my parents home. Less than 2 hours later I received an email with diagnosis and ability to select my services. Vehicle was promptly completed by 1:30 p.m. that day. This saved me from towing my vehicle or extending my visit through the following work week.Thank you so much, you made a believer out of me with your exceptional service. If I am in the area again Ill hold off for your dealership to conduct any further service.Thank you,
I own a 2011 Audi Q5 purchased in 2010 in Houston, TX. The service department there was outstanding especially compared to the service department here. While I have had to return here several times due to recalls and problems related to this series of car, the service department still acts as if I’m a stranger every time I enter. Twice they’ve not completed the work on the order and I’ve had to return with no effort on their part to lessen the inconvenience. No matter how far in advance I have made an appointment they NEVER NEVER have a loaner car. They offer a shuttle service but what use do I have for that when, at no fault of my own, I don’t want to or have the funds to, spend the day at the mall? Maybe there’s a good Audi service department in Indianapolis or Detroit but not this one. They get two stars for showing up for work and getting the car to the mechanics.
Posted already but great sales experience thanks to Cody Benson. Ask for him. Zero pressure. Fair trade in deal. S5 sportback is what I bought and traded a Q7 in.
Car was having issues on a long road trip. The steering was stuff, vibrating and pulling to one side. We called them after opening hours and they accepted us a half an hour later. They immediately told us what was wrong and fixed it. Extremely helpful service and friendly staff.
At first i was nervous since I was to take my audi a5 for service, but Jerry service writer make the process so easy and affordable for me and the work was done on a timely manner . thanks guys the whole group work together to get it done, now I have a happy fiance driving her car pretty smooth .. I do recommend this place ...
Thorough and careful. They know how to diagnose and service our beloved Audi.
Got an awesome car and had a great sales person. If youre looking for a car see Jordan
Deficient in their customer service. Called to schedule service on a 2016 Audi A6s. No openings for over one week and no loaner vehicles available for one month!!! Service department did not even attempt to schedule the repair and call to Scott Miller, Gurley Leep Auto Group manager, not returned. Will NOT do business with this dealer in the future.
This will be where I get the car I have been waiting for!
Nice helpful people
Great
