Took my snowboard in. Paid $85 for services that would have cost me $40 if I still lived in Idaho, but I guess you can charge whatever you want when youre the only place in town to get a wax and tune. You dont get to pick your wax, which was strange to me. They also managed to pull off my stomp pad, which will need replaced, so really it was more like $100 wax and tune. They did a good job, especially on the tuning.

Always enjoy stopping here. Usually its for bicycle repairs or accessories. The staff is not only very friendly and attentive but extremely knowledgeable. Difficult to stump them with any questions you may have. Unfortunately, the store is closing. The repair shop will remain open, so I highly recommend taking all your bicycle service needs to Outpost. High quality, guide pricing, excellent knowledge and experience.

The service department remains open. Took about 1.5 weeks to service a set of skis and was a fair price. Polite staff. Would return.

Very knowledgeable on their bikes and what they have on their floor. Got fitted and bought a norco fluid 2 today. Great atmosphere and amazing customer service. All questions were answered and they offered to let me test ride some bikes even out of my price range. Treated like family. 10/10

Fantastic place, we have not been in here since we stopped playing volleyball probably 20 years ago. We went to another local bike shop the other day and well that guy is definitely not a good person. So we came here and bought two fat bikes and the customer service was fantastic. Definitely a customer again.

Great place to find bike tools, parts, and services. Have purchased a roof rack and a subsequent replacement of a fork skewer from Outpost. Amazing attention to detail and they go above and beyond to serve their customers!

They always had knowledgeable staff, excellent service and a great variety of equipment. Were terribly sad to see them close. Theyve been outfitting our family with quality sports equipment for over 20 years.

We take our skis here for waxing and have purchased skis, boots, and gear for the slopes in the past. ALWAYS have had a positive experience with the staff. Small negative is they do not have tons of options for toddlers gear. Also taken bikes to their shop for repairs and such. Great work!

Bought a bike while visiting the area for the holidays. Matt from the bike department was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and made the buying process smooth and simple. Since I live out of the Michiana area, Matt and Jason took great care to ship the bike to me at an incredibly competitive rate and in a speedy fashion. The bike was packed to perfection - no damage, no missing parts. In all a great experience - highly recommend!

I am new to the area and new to cycling as a hobby. I bought my bicycle used a year ago, so I figured that I should get it serviced.Instead of trying to upsell me, Jason checked out my bike and recommended the basic service, since the bike was mostly in good order, aside from a gears being a little off and a brake line that is clearly frayed.Since it came up in conversation that I am new to the area, Jason found me a map of local bike trails and destinations, and spoke to me at length about some of them.This is the kind of atmosphere I like to experience when visiting a specialty store! Friendly staff that knows about their products and are enthusiastic about helping their clientele.

Hands down the most knowledgeable staff and best service on all things outdoors especially skiing. There isnt a better ski shop anywhere-- the kind of place you would expect at a ski resort in the west. Cant thank them all enough for going above and beyond to always help everyone in our family for the last 20 years!

The going out of business sale was hyped up to be a great sale but is only 20 percent off. The prizes you sign up for is a racquet too. I am wondering if they are collecting info to sell.

Walked into this store for the first time this evening. I planned on buying two snowboard packages. When I was approached by a staff member I mentioned I had been browsing boards online. After this comment I asked for a couple pairs of boots to find the right size for my wife. The salesman instantly began preaching to me about how he doesnt help size people who plan to turn around and buy online. While I understand the concept, instead of refusing to help, maybe try to earn my business through good customer service?.. Needless to say I walked out cash in hand without making a purchase.

So sad to see Mishawaka location close!

Converting soon to a bike in summer and ski in winter shop from what used to be a full service outdoors store, glad they will still be around in at least some form

I recently completed a 2300 mile bike trip from Arizona to Michigan City Indiana. I contacted Outpost Sports, first in New Buffalo Michigan and Carmen Jugenheimer, the manager of that store was so nice and responsive. She made it easy for me to say goodbye to my trusty steed and know it was in good hands. They transported the bike to their store in Mishiwaka and Jason did a FANTASTIC job of packing it up and taking care of not only my bike but some gear that I had traveled with. My bike arrived in Arizona yesterday and not only was it packed perfectly and securely, it was taken apart in a way that I was able to rebuild my bike with ease in a short time. Jason kept in touch, provided tracking information, and was on top of it the whole way. A+++ service.Thanks for getting my bike home safely Outpost Crew!

I loved this store! I bought my fiance a pair of $200 uggs and only paid half. Our clerk, Tom, was great help. He was very knowledgeable especially on Uggs and Northface. We will surely be shopping here again. Great experience.
