Bought some dinosaur themed balloons for our sons 2nd birthday. The blow up long neck dinosaur balloon has lasted as fully inflated for nearly two weeks now. He has gotten so much play time with it. The decorations are adorable and the staff very helpful.

I was looking for some 2021 glasses on NYE, and the manager I spoke to was extremely kind and friendly when letting me down that they were sold out. She made my visit to the store a positive one when it could have been a negative. Not only that, she mentioned that she was thankful to waste less inventory this year in her store, and she really seemed passionate about her work. You have a good employee working there and I hope your company acknowledges her hard work. I just wish I had gotten her name - she had a friendly smile and was up on a ladder!

I understand, and I get it, that a lot of the associates in here aren’t making a career at Party City. But they should know the basics. For example...when you are trying to ask a question and the associate keeps bouncing his ball, it’s not cool.So when I called the next day, to see if they had a smaller size costume, I could exchange for, as the one I got was too big. I was told sure we do...and I was even given the sizes that were available and in stock. So I get there and holy cow....they didn’t have any in stock. No pun intended, but I just wanted a smaller size cow costume. Party City on Grape Road gets 2 thumbs down.

They dont carry sloth stuff at all

Got 40th birthday party balloons filled at this Party City on 11/26/18 at 4:40 PM, drove them back to work (less than 15 minutes in the car) and stored them in our 72 degree break room over night.... came back the next morning and 2 of the 8 balloons were already starting to fall. By 1:00 PM on 11/27/18 half of the balloons were falling. Also, when I purchased the balloons (on a different day) I specifically asked if I would be charged to fill the balloons and the cashier stated no, just make sure to bring in your receipt. I then paid $1.19 per balloon to have them filled - total of $9.52 for 8 balloons, which by the way was more than the balloons cost to purchase empty! I would not recommend this party city location to anyone. I have never had an issue purchasing balloons or getting them filled at the Valparaiso location. In fact, I had balloons filled at that location (same type) that lasted longer than a week. The foil ones from that location have lasted almost 3 weeks.

Great place with lots of Birthday, Holiday, and Special Occasion themes! I found lots of Grinch decorations for my Grinch Christmas party that Im having for my 8 Grandkids. I was having a difficult time finding decor, plates, and fun Grinch stuff, so I was very excited to find so many fun things at Party City! Teri, the checkout girl, was very pleasant and helpful. This place really did not have that much in stock, we had to go to the bathroom they were very disgusting they needed to be cleaned desperately. the lady behind the counter was very friendly and nice and the one that was working in the back was also very friendly and nice.

Went to purchase a mask on Halloween at the last minute- their shelves were nearly bare but I managed to find something to my satisfaction. Store employees were kind & helpful.

The mylar balloon I purchased deflated before I got home. It was $10! I called right away. They said they would replace it but I couldnt back before the party. I had the receipt and balloon but they would not refund my money. I walked out empty handed! Ugh!

Birthday party, Christmas party, new years. Whatever the case may be you can be sure youll find it here, if youre pressed for time you can ask when you walk in to any of the staff and theyll direct you in the right direction.The place can get busy but theyre always helpful and knowledgeable.I bought balloons for my babys Birthday party, ordered them a few days ahead and on the day I was supposed to pick them up they emailed me two hours before to remind me they were ready.

Store is a bit pricey likely due to the fact that much of the merchandise is character licensed. Went in to put together a farm themed party but theres not enough of any one theme to put much together. Expected a store chock full of party stuff. Instead, its an odds and ends store thats about 60% full.

Went to get a balloon for my son for his birthday. Wouldnt sell us one because of a helium shortage and told us we had to pre-order one in order for us to get it. We wanted one balloon not 20. Left and went and got much better balloon and service at Martins supermarket. Wont buy anymore supplies from here.

The negative of this place is the price...the plus side is this is really the only party store to get anything other than the basics at a department store. They really have everything here for an entire party. One stop shopping is very convenient!

I am giving Party City 1 star. The store was VERY dirty and no one offered to help me find what i needed. I went in to the store to be spontaneous because i wanted to surprise a friend with only 3 balloons. The lady at the check out told me that she is not allowed to handle walk in orders because of the helium shortage.... meanwhile there is another worker on a ladder blowing up balloons for their display. The lady at the checkout told me that i could by the balloons i needed there and then head to martins and have them blow them up and pay a fee.. This was highly inconvenient because i had my two year old daughter with me and all i wanted was a couple things. I didnt want to go to another destination with a toddler. This took all my spontaneous fun joy out of my whole evening. I will never go back to this store and i am going to tell everyone i know to do the same.

They have great thing yes. I went to look for a pinata the website said they had, they didnt. So I got a different one. I loaded candy as soon as we got home and the bottom was already opening 😤 not happy.

They never have enough people working. The line to check out always takes forever bc they will have the cashier blowing up the balloons, leaving people that just need to check out to wait. The employees are usually not every friendly. Party City has good stuff but it sucks to go to.

Had most of what we needed at work, but were in transition between seasons/holidays. Friendly staff, but she did not disclose that part of my online order was not there. THAT was disappointing!

TERRIBLE SERVICE. Go ANYWHERE else.While there is a lot of variety at this store, you will more than likely have horrible customer service and be treated as though you are an inconvenience. As long as you are coming in, grabbing something off the shelf and checking out with no assistance needed, and God forbid any questions, you may make it out of the store without feeling frustrated.

Nice store. Missing some things that were needed. Couldnt find invitations so that was a small bummer. Variety of things though.

I ran in after I got off work (which was only a half hour before they closed) and they helped me find everything I was looking for. I also got balloons ordered to pick up the next day and they were ready early for me. If you need balloons, order them ahead of time! When I went to pick mine up there was a 3 hour wait for people who just walked in to get some. But I had my receipt and walked in and out with mine. Super easy.

Beautiful windows cover the entire front of the store. Which lets in so much heat. Air conditioning was not working. Inside for a few minutes maybe 3. Gave up on finding anything - staff was hard to find (later found sitting looking at phone by register - probably looking for a job with air conditioning or windows that open. Cant say I blame them). 90 degrees outside, it was more hot and humid inside. Even if they had good deals and products I wouldnt have been able to wait for even 30 more seconds in line. Exited quickly.

Made me wait 30 minutes while she helped everyone BEHIND me!!! Finally got my balloon bouquet out to the car to have one of them pop before I even got in the car!! $35 for 8 balloons!!! Never again!!

I live a hour away from this party city. I usually go to the Party City in Fort Wayne Indiana. I wish I would of stuck with that. I know online shopping is a option but I like going In store. This is by far the worst experience I ever had at Party City!!!! The cashier was so rude!!! No greetings or anything. I asked for a certain balloon for a baby shower. I told her What one I want and she automatically acted annoyed that I even asked. She looks for a second and says were out in a dull rude voice. No apologies or anything!!!I nicely asked for a different one she slowly walked and got it and the only words other then we are out is you want this balloon in a bag. I really hope You look into this store. No have a nice night or anything. After all the money I spent and my travel I expect better service!!! I will continue going to party city in fort Wayne. Usually I make a day of my trips out of town. Unfortunately when I want to go to party city Fort Wayne will be my go to and all my other shopping and eating business will be lost in Mishawaka. I’m only one person but still!!! I really hope this review gets read and taken care of as I have spent a good amount of money in the past and will drive a hour away to shop at your store!!!! I’m very unsatisfied with this store and the cashier!!

I swear the prices have doubled. They dont have enough variety, I mean its mostly character that are popular. My very last complaint is, there is always a line. Not enough cashiers, that seems to be the theme everywhere. Sooo why not be different and hire an extra cashier?? Be better then the rest. Really make your customers want to come back and past on an excellent review to all they know. After all, nothing beats out the Word of mouth advertisements.

When I went there with my mom I had no clue what I wanted which meant I wasn’t looking for anything specific so when I found something that I really wanted we asked and employee and they said they didn’t have it they should totally put a sold out sign on the costumes that are sold out because then it took about 20 minutes to find another costume that I liked

Extremely disappointed customer. Went in to buy small balloons and they have no small mylars on display. I notice a lot of employees on their phones and leaning against registers. When asked for help employees seem annoyed and the store manager is one of the rudest people I’ve ever encountered. I will never buy from this location again.

I have been trying to order balloons all day, the first time I called someone answered and was helping me, but we got disconnected. I have called back over 15 times and no one has answered the phone it just keeps ringing!!! Very frustrated

Went to party city Sat, to check prices, didnt purchase anything, went back Monday, my daughter found a coupon on line. Made purchase the ad said in store sale. Looked at receipt, no discount taken off. Went back in store, told manager said oh she didnt know, but ad on line said in store sale from last Sat till that very day. They had no signs up mentioning the sale, other customers that were in line started pulling the ad on sale on their phone. Lol

I would recommend going to the Dollar Tree instead. This place is unfriendly, over priced, and the quality of products offered are poor.
